lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. To control blood glucose effectively apart from medication (Insulin) patient also has to follow a strict diet control. Avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items and food made from maida. Plus match her intake based on ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood glucose levels. Daily exercise of over 1 hour is a must. Unless all these aspects are properly taken care, there is no way of maintaining blood glucose levels in control. Only Insulin will not help. Since there is no mention of her diet and extent of daily exercise, so really no idea whether these aspects are taken care at all. Looking at her weight and height it is clear that she is overweight with a BMI of 27.82 kgs/M2, her ideal body weight should be 57 kgs, hence she has an excess of 12 kgs, which does hinder glucose control. Thanks.

Blood test for beta hcg hormone which is positive only when the woman is pregnant gets positive before periods are due and conception has taken place urine test for pregnancy becomes positive after skipping periods for few days only if the cycle is regular.

Vata vitiation is the cause. That in turn, may also be caused by langhan - remain hungary for long time and regular. Drink hot water and milk with turmeric. Bath with hit water. Drink nycanthes leaves (harsingar) decoction daily. Warm oil of mahavishgarbh to be massaged two hrs before bath.

Dear lybrate user, your blood pressure seems to be on the higher side, but one reading is not sufficient to make a conclusive diagnosis of hypertension. Additional details like history, weight, height, lifestyle, etc are also important. It is important you consult a physician privately, which will enable the particular doctor to prescribe you specific treatment after checking your blood pressure. Meanwhile, you could observe the following to help improve your blood pressure: - Sleep well at least 6-7 hrs everyday. Do not get stressed about issues. - Drink less coffee and tea, quit smoking - Eat less salt, less processed foods (papad, pickles, noodles, etc.) - Eat small meals (preferably home-cooked) at regular timings everyday Get well soon!

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

His blood sugar is very high. Because of high blood sugars he is having boils. It will disappear once blood sugar is under control. He should take medicines for diabetes along with antibiotics for boils in the back after consulting diabetologist/physician. In addition to this he has to follow the advice given below 1. Do regular aerobic exercise for 1 hour daily (brisk walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling etc) 2. Reduce weight if overweight 3control diet a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango, litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (akhrot) e) avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/jowar/ragi, moong and chana dal. F) avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4. Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting dietitian 5. Monitor your fasting, pp blood sugar 3 monthly and hba1c six monthly 6. Consult diabetologist for advice and treatment.

Please note the following for your condition: The head should be massaged slowly with oil or shampoo while bathing or cleaning hairs resulting blood circulation becomes fast and the skin of the head is protected from dryness. Shampoo should be used only two times a week. Hairs should be washed with curd for removing dandruff. Spicy or fried foodstuffs should not be eaten. Excessive cream or jell should not be applied on hairs. For further queries get back to me.

9 Best Healthy Snacks For Night Shift Professionals!

Try these easy and healthy late night snacks. It may take a bit more time than your ordered pizza but trust me you won’t regret the wait. As they don’t leave you so full that you keep changing sides the whole night instead leave you healthy.

1. Popcorn

Yes, everyone's favorite popcorn. Try switching to plain popcorn instead of those fattening chips. Cook the plain popcorn which takes less than 5 minutes add some spices and salt to taste. You can also use low-calorie cheese to curb that creamy craving.

2. Sliced bananas

Every other day we crave for ice cream our favorite dessert. Holding your horses there once a while is ok, but it can be on regular basis. Keep some sliced bananas in the freezer when you crave for ice cream take the whipped slices add few nuts to it and enjoy a healthy dessert.

You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …6) avoid coffee and tea…. A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2-2 tablets of lakshyadi guggul and vasantkusumakar rasa early in the morning on empty stomach with triphala juice…. C) take 10 gm of black cumin seeds along with 10 gm of jiggery after meals…. D) apply equal quantity mixture of fresh lemon juice and aloe vera juice on the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda)…… do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective. Consult to me for further suggestion. THANKS.
