Better to avoid eating Sauf so many times, you can take occasionally 2-3 times in a week avoid in winter.

Dear User As per your details and reports, your condition can be well managed by conservative measures. Most important point is to correct life style measures. By getting control over lifestyle or habits itself, you can manage or prevent the condition from worsening. You can supplement it with Therapeutic exercises specific for lumbar radiculopathy. For example - SLR, etc. You should consult physiotherapist to get a "tailored" exercise schedule. You should also ensure proper dietary intake of calcium, vitamin D [Most importantly] and proteins. Certain lifestlye measure you can follow - 1) Not lifting heavyweight like flower pots, etc. Take a correct posture while bending. Always squat then flex the torso forward carefully to pick anything from down/floor which will prevent excess pressure over lumbar spine. 2) Use western toilets instead of Indian style. 3) Don't give sudden jerk while starting bike/scooter [if you drive] as it may worsen the condition 4) Sit straight on chair, improve posture while walking/standing. 5) Avoid sitting for long hours, take little breaks [you may take 2 glasses of water prior to sitting, which will urge you to go for urination] 6) You may also wear waist belts which support the back when sitting for long hours is inevitable or pain is slightly more The above measures will surely improve the condition and prevent further deterioration of condition. Hello, there is all possibility that the scanty nature of the bleed this month is likely to be due stress induced hormonal imbalances. One needs to watch at least 3 cycles before before diagnosing as hypomenorrhoea.

1. Apply mahabhringraj oil on your scalp and massage follow by giving hot water fomentation. You can put 1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils before going to bed. 2. Take pranacharya allergen capsule twice a day. Increase the intake of proteins such as soybean and egg white. It is advisable to avoid tea, coffee, spicy food, fermented food and junk food. Only use ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp and avoid synthetic shampoos. Do pranayama early morning.

I'm 30 years old. I have vertigo. I feel very giddy tired and have a neck ache. What should I do?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned pain in neck region as the main problem. You are actually very young to have persistent pain. If there is only localized pain in neck region with no other associated symptoms like radiating pain, numbness, paresthesias etc, and no systemic symptoms like fever, loss of appetite, loss of weight etc, my advice to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - to maintain proper posture of your neck while working and sleeping and observing principles of neck ergonomics - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or even tab paracetamol which suits you - intensive physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied 3-4 times in a day - analgesic spray for local application like dynapar qps spray can be used and is easily available. If there is no improvement in 2-3 weeks with this conservative management, we will need to evaluate you further in form of dynamic x rays to look for any instability as a cause for pain and some blood investigations to rule out any deficiencies etc. You can also have vertigo due to neck issues and other causes as well, you can take tab vertin or stugeron on sos basis if you unbearable vertigo but in that case we ill have to get mri cervical spine done in your case. An indian kitchen is full of health benefits. Indian cooking is such that almost every ingredient has some benefit or another.

Few herbs and their benefits are:

1. Garlic is a cure: raw garlic has immense health properties. It has cancer prevention and cure properties, boosts the immune system, cures infections & allergic reactions, cures colds, fevers & flu apart from having anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. What one needs to do it eat half to one clove of garlic every single day. This will maintain immunity and prevention of internal infections. Ear infections can be treated with garlic and oil. This oil can be made by adding 5-6 cloves of chopped garlic in olive oil, keeping it aside for three to four days. After that, strain the oil and keep in a tight bottle.

2. Ginger, peppermint and fennel for stomach - these everyday food items aid digestion, digestive cramps and relieve gas. They also help heartburn and stop nausea & vomiting. These herbs are ideal for your digestion, making life easy. All three can be consumed in the form of tea.

3. Cinnamon for weight loss - has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. It is also good for weight loss. It has been proven that it kills bacteria and viruses up to almost 100%. It is advised to include it in tea or have a pinch of cinnamon powder with your early morning lemon-honey water.

4. Aloe vera completely heals - aloe vera has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral properties. It is also known to heal burns and wounds, soothes stomach and helps multiple skin ailments.

5. Oregano fights diseases - oregano is a powerful antibiotic and happens to be more effective in neutralizing germs in comparison to chemical antibiotics.

Day before yesterday a small water balloon has popped up just above the ankle in my left leg. Please help.

This looks to be a cyst over the ankle area which might have come from the skin itself or from the joint. You may apply local ice cold sponging and show it to your local family doctor to decide course of action.

Getting back your hair colour as before in not practically possible with medicines but what can be done is to reduce greying process. Use gold tab 4 tabs 4times a day.

Cbc and Thryoid profile are essential investigations that are required at the time of initiating anti anxiety medications. You appear to have free floating anxiety. Trust your Psychiatrist. He is doing the right thing. Good luck.

Wake up to find too many strands of hair on your pillow can be a nightmare for anyone. Losing an average of 50 strands of hair a day is a normal part of the hair cycle. However, losing more hair than that could be a problem. Hair fall can be caused by a number of reasons including old age, hormonal imbalances, stress etc. Hair fall can be treated in most cases as long as the trigger has first been identified. This can be done with the help of lab tests. Some of the common reasons for hair fall are:

  1. Hereditary hair loss or androgenetic alopecia: Inheriting this gene from either parent can cause hair loss but the risk of hair loss is much higher if you have inherited the gene from both parents. This type of hair loss is marked by thinning that begins in the forehead region and gradually spreads across the scalp. Examining the pattern of hair loss is the first step to determining whether your hair loss is caused by genetic reasons. A biopsy of the scalp may also be required.
  2. Thyroid irregularities: The underproduction or overproduction of hormones by the thyroid gland can affect the rate at which the body metabolises oxygen and energy for the growth of skin cells, nails and hair leading to hair loss and other problems. In the case of hypothyroidism, hair loss is likely to be accompanied by weight gain, constipation, tiredness and depression. On the other hand, hair loss that is accompanied by drastic weight loss, nervousness, diarrhoea and weakened muscles is likely to be caused by hyperthyroidism. Between the two, hypothyroidism is more commonly responsible for hair loss. A simple blood test that measures the levels of thyroid stimulating hormones in your body can be used to determine whether your hair loss is caused by thyroid irregularities.
  3. Anaemia: A deficiency of iron in the body can result in inadequate red blood cells to transport oxygen through the body. This lack of oxygen translates to a lack of nutrients for hair growth and can result in brittle hair and hair fall. A deficiency of iron in the body can be tested with a blood test.
  4. Telogen effluvium: Hair fall that is experienced 2 to 3 months after a stressful event is likely to have been caused by telogen effluvium. This is a phenomenon that causes hair to move faster than normal from the growing phase to the resting and shedding phase. There are no specific tests that can be used to determine this phenomenon. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dermatologist.

Habit of masturbation is not it related to face problems.snd it is safe . Best home remedy is to apply coconut oil on face and stand in sunlight for at least one hour and you will see effect in a few months . Or you have do laser therapy

Hi, Try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journery. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have atleast one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. Share your weight-loss journey with a family member or friend so that you are accountable to each other. 11. Green tea atleast once a day will help you boost your metabolism 12. Sleep helps in repair and regulating your hormones. Sleep atleast 8 hours in a day. 13. Have fruits atleast twice a day 14. Drink water if you feel you are hungry to check if its hunger or thirst. 15. Lastly, keep a positive attitude and visualize yourself thin.
