Hello Doctor, Thanks for the tips. But why does a normally productive person start procrastinating? It there a psychological reason or disorder behind this tendency? Does subliminal affirmations / hypnotherapy (or even simple impositions) help with such cases? Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Hello Doctor,

Procrastination is just a type of behaviour which develops and is reinforced due to unhealthy negative emotions and irrational beliefs. Behaviour therapies like cbt or ret can certainly help. Improvement with hypnotherapy lacks documentary evidence and is subjective to some extent.

Hello I have a chicken pox hole left on my forehead how do I flatten it give me effective natural working tips.
Apply an ample amount of the moisturizer skin lotion to the affected part (in the morning and in the evening) and gently massage it for better skin absorption and blood circulation. Doing this will also help improve the skin's regeneration ability by flattening your deep hole chickenpox scars.

Hi. How do I lose my weight? Suggest me some diet foods. I have tried Alot of weight losing powders.
Hye, thanks for the query. Your weight is a balance of calories. Fad diets may promise you that counting carbs or eating a mountain of fruits will make the fats drop. But when it comes to weight loss, it's sensible eating that counts. Weight loss comes down to burning more calories than you take in. You can do that by reducing extra calories from food and beverages, and increasing calories burned through physical activity. Understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals. Take smaller main meals. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. All the so called fad, crash, restricted diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, don't forget the bottom line: The key to successful weight loss is a commitment to making indefinite changes in your diet and exercise habits.

Hi lybrate-user. Thanku for writing into lybrate. The exact cause of hair loss may not be fully understood, but it's usually related to one or more of the following factors: 1. Family history (heredity) 2. Hormonal changes 3. Medical conditions 4. Medications 5. Life style medication:- 1. Regukar oiling with sukesham oil, guduchi pharmacy helps a lot to reduce hairfall within 21 days. 2. Preferably use guduchi anti hairfall shampoo, blot you hair with towel n donot rub. 3. Apply hairmask using amla n bhringaraj powder mixed with buttermilk weekly once helps a lot. 4. Cap trichup, 1 cap twice a day after food for 1 month. Tips:- 1. Wash hair regularly with lukewarm to cold water to keep the scalp clean and healthy 2. Avoid combing hair when wet since it is prone to breakage at such time.

If you chew a sugarless gum for 20 minutes after your meal, it will make the leftover food particles cling to it and will freshen your breath.

Go to dentist and save that tooth by RCT treatment followed by capping so that your tooth colour become same as your previous one.

Massage your scalp daily. Massaging helps circulate blood and brings nutrients to the scalp. Put both your hands on the head and move your fingers in slow, circular motion. Massaging will make your scalp warm and tingly — it is an indicator that blood is flowing to the scalp which will help in hair growth.

Mere face pe glow lane k lie kya kru. How to I purify my blood what I eat .plz suggest.
To get that clear, flawless and glowing skin, swear by Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising daily. Always apply sunscreen half an hour before going out in the sun. Reapply sunscreen every 3-4 hours till evening. Keep your skin covered with hat and a scarf in pollution and dust. If you think that applying great products alone will give you glowing skin, then you are wrong. You are what you eat. Nutrition plays an important role to keep you glowing inside out. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains. Try to limit intake of junk, smoke and alcohol as this harms your skin the most. One key point I would emphasise here is to exfoliate your skin regularly. Regular exfoliation can be done both by using natural products like gram flour and yogurt or over the counter and safe to use products containing AHAs, BHAs or Glycolic Acid. Before buying these chemical containing cleansers, always go under a patch test by Dermatologist so as to test any possible irritation by them. Using sunscreen after exfoliation is must, so never skip the sunscreen. Exfoliation along with daily moisturisation works wonders on your skin. Pamper your skin once in a week with a good face mask, massage and relaxing bath. If your skin remains dull even after following all the above advices, then do not hesitate to book an appointment with your nearest dermatologist. An expert advise is always recommended to test the underlying causes of skin dullness and help it improve faster.
