Want Healthy Hair? 6 Ayurvedic Remedies You Must Try!

Want Healthy Hair? 6 Ayurvedic Remedies You Must Try!

The prospect of healthy and voluminous hair is desired by one and all. Perhaps it is this unanimous wish for it that makes it extremely rare and infrequent. Ayurveda, with its advantage of natural remedies has proved to be extremely beneficial in making the hair healthy and lustrous. The various Ayurvedic medicines are:

  1. Bhringraj: The benefits of Bhringraj need little introduction. It not only facilitates growth of hair, but also prevents early graying. It comes in different forms, either as powder or in oil form, but in both forms, it is equally productive.
  2. Neem: Neem is extremely beneficial in treating maladies of the skin as well as the hair. It is commonly prescribed by doctors to treat various skin conditions like chicken pox and eczema. At the same time, it promotes growth of hair and significantly improves the health of your hair.
  3. Ritha: Ritha was always considered as the most natural alternative to shampoos. Contrary to shampoos that are available in the market, Ritha is mild and is bereft of the harmful chemicals present in the former.
  4. Shikakai: Shikakai has large amount of antioxidants as well as it is tremendously rich in vitamin C and D, making it the obvious choice for the hair. It not only adds a natural sheen to your hair but also reduces dandruff and detangles your hair.
  5. Ashwagandha: This is tremendously beneficial in rejuvenating hair. The benefit of this herb is twofold, it not only reduces the effect of the hormone cortisol that is detrimental to hair, but also facilitates the production of melanin.
  6. Brahmi: Brahmi not only provides nourishment to the hair, down to the roots, but also strengthens it. If it is regularly applied on the hair, it inevitably makes the hair lustrous and thick. At the same time, it cures the split ends and thereby prevents further damage. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

How can a person who is burned severely be given a first aid and what to do after first aid?

MBBS
General Physician,
It depends on degree of burn and area involved one should clean the area with plain clean water runing water from tape and evacuate the pt to nearest hospital. As early as possible because open burn injury is very difficult to treat outside and very vulnerable ti infection. Preferably in the medical centre where proper burn care is available.

Is Keratin Treatment good for hair? Or is there any harm for hair after getting this treatment?

Is Keratin Treatment good for hair? Or is there any harm for hair after getting this treatment?
Usually, keratin treatments use heat (and sometimes formaldehyde, ick) to bond keratin proteins to the hair to make it smoother and straighter. Results last around three months. It is good and no harm is there

Thank you for writing to us. I understand that you are having pubic-lice. Please note the following:-- the lice are often spread during sexual activity. Rarely, pubic lice can spread through contact with objects such as toilet seats, sheets, blankets, or bathing suits (that you may try on at a store). Animals cannot spread lice to humans. Treatment:- pubic lice are often treated with medicines that contain a substance called permethrin. While you are treating pubic lice:- wash all clothing and bedding in hot water. Spray items that cannot be washed with a medicated spray that you can buy at the store. You can also seal items in plastic bags for 10 to 14 days to smother the lice. Makes sure anyone with whom you have had sexual contact or shared a bed is treated at the same time. People with pubic lice should be checked for other sexually-transmitted infections when lice are discovered. Thanks.

Do let me know if you also have blackheads with pimples? and what current medications and remedies you already tried to treat acne? acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e or any self prescribed preparations on scars or pimples. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk.

Hi, I can suggest you some home remedy for hair fall which is troubling you like many others. Hair fall is very common these days and chemical lotions are best avoided 1.Take the white of one egg and mix in a teaspoon of olive oil. 2.Beat to give a paste-like consistency and apply to the entire scalp and hair. 3.Keep it on for about 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water and a mild shampoo. Here are some easy tips to help avoid hair loss. Another method is to apply Aloe Vera Aloe Vera gel also works wonders. Massage the scalp with aloe gel, leave in for a few hours and then wash with lukewarm water. Aloe gel, coconut milk and wheat germ oil make a great hair conditioning treatment to help fight hair fall. Massage it on the scalp to reduce hair fall. 1.Wash hair without shampoo. 2.Apply coconut oil and do not shampoo, and leave it to dry. It will not make your hair oily as it will dry up in minutes.. 3.Look at the ingredients to find a mild shampoo. 4.Use a good hairbrush. 5.Try a scalp massage. 6.Test your hair for thinning if you're concerned.

I am having very tiny tiny moles on all over my nose and cheeks. Please let me know of any lotion or cream that will reduce them.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Homoeopathic medicine-------------- sepia 30 (dr reckeweg) drink 1 drop direct on tongue daily night for 3 month--------------- natural treatment to eliminatemoles----------- castor oil helps remove warts and moles. Being a discutient, it helps dissolve and eliminate unusual growths. This method is not likely to leave scars. However, it tends to take a lot of time as it gets rid of moles one layer at a time. 1. Mix a pinch of baking soda and a few drops of castor oil. You can also mix in ground aspirin. 2. Gently rub the mixture on your mole. 3. Leave it on for a few hours until it dries naturally. 4. Do this twice daily for about one month. If you do not have baking soda, you can use castor oil alone.

Treatment options for alopecia areata include: Corticosteroids: Anti-inflammatory drugs that are prescribed for autoimmune diseases.
