My eye sight is very week I went to many doctors but I am still suffering please answer me my age is 19.
There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 19 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. If you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

A month back I was having some problem in my eyes, dryness, itching a bit headache. Have consulted optomologist and was advised to take lotegate and ccs for one month. Have seen considerable improvement. Now its a month please advise should I continue or advise some regular drops which can be of daily use.

If the itching is completely gone u can discontinue lotegate. .since u have used it for a month taper the drops instead of stopping abruptly to avoid a recurrence of eye allergies. CCS is a tear substitute which can be safely continued life long if so desired. I would recommend u continue with it for all least another month or two.

Comprehensive eye check up for eye sight (refractive errors) problems, eye pressure and post segment evaluation and to have treatment accordingly. In case of eye sight problems causing headache you may need spectacles. If everything is good, treatment for headache which will have so many reasons should be taken.

Dear Lybrate user:- If there is colour hallow arround bulb ,there may be suspicion of Glaucoma (increased intraocular pressure. Eye should be examined for intraocular pressure & rule out Glaucoma.

Please note that you have strong predisposition to allergic factors which can give rise to multiple illnesses like sore throat, conjunctivitis, etc .Presently you are in acute phase for the same and require simple anti allergic medication which will be prescribed by your treating physician. This is due to allergy (allergic rhinitis) so you need to take antihistaminics and steroid nasal spray. Avoid exposure to dust.

I am suffering from eyes sight last year I changed eye glasses now also have to be changed eye glasses, power is -4 both eyes now I can't see properly with same power glass I think power is decreasing, what is the problem.

Normally, minus number increases with age. If you are not able to see properly, first possibility is that number has changed. Secondly, glasses may have scratches. Pl get your power & specs checked.

Apply Rose water in eyes and then put a piece of cotton over eyes and put a small ice cube over it for 2 mins. Repeat this for 2-3 times in a day, if possible.

Your eyes are one of the most important parts of your body. They are delicate and essential. But, there are instances of it getting injured. Corneal abrasion or scratched eye is one of the most common injuries related to the eye. It causes discomfort to the eyes. It also leads to reddening of the eye and makes it hypersensitive to light. Corneal abrasions are caused due to loss of corneal cell in the upper region of the cornea. The top or upper layer is known as corneal epithelium.

Cornea is the front part of the eye. It’s task is to help in focusing of light and enables us to see objects. A good and healthy cornea is needed and a must for having good eyesight. Thus, it is always advisable to consult an ophthalmologist immediately after you notice a corneal abrasion or meet with an accident that has led to corneal injury.

What Are The Factor That Causes Corneal Abrasions?

There are a number of ways that can result in corneal abrasion. It should be kept in mind that anything that comes in direct contact with the eye can lead to corneal injury. The treatment depends upon the severity of the injury. Minor injuries can be cured with the help of non-preserved lubricating drops. It fastens the natural healing process. These are also treated with the use of antibiotic drops. The healing may take some two to three days times.

Hello dear there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc. 1. Redness + itching: allergy 2. Redness + pain+ watering + decreased vision: infection 3. Redness + pain: inflammation 4. Redness+ foreign body sensation: dryness if there is only redness then it is normal as slight exposure to dust, temperature or air or eyes may be red in morning. Stress may also cause redness. I usually do not treat when there is only redness, you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eyedrop like flogel these measures will help to keep your eyes healthy but it will not have any effect on redness (treating generalredness alone is not necessary also) having said that you should consult local ophthalmologist for proper examination and treatment.
