I have a regular problem about high cold which remains constant 4-5 days. And now days the certainty has been increased. Please suggest me prevention & effective medicine.

For cold take tablet cetrizine at night with tablet paracetamol and few tips- Avoid any triggering factor, take folic acid regularly, eat a healthy diet , always be stress free , exercise regularly

Hi, Fever may be simple/ self-limiting viral infection, or it may a symptom some serious illness like typhoid/ malaria/ Dengue/ TB or many more like that. It is decided by symptoms provided by you, and a battery of investigations. Therefore, follow the advice and consult doctor with detail symptoms. 1. Wear light and cotton cloths, it helps in cooling of body. 2. Take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg (as and when required; after food) for fever (more than 99 F) for 3 days. Maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hours can be taken in a day. 3. If fever persists, do cold sponging (with cold water even ice water if needed) to lower down temperature. 4. Drink plenty of fluids. 5. Take adequate rest and proper sleep. Going to work, working out may just make you feel worse as the extra action adds stress to your body. Inadequate sleep decreases immunity of body, which causes worsening of illness. 6. Take proper diet preferably homemade like dalia, khichdi, rice, dahl, chapatti, vegetable soups or steamed veggies. 7. If fever is more than 5-7 days, Get done investigations CBC (Hb, TLC, DLC, Platelets, ESR only), Widal for typhoid/ RDT or PBF for Malaria/ and Sputum AFB if you have cough or chest pain from nearby Laboratory. Consult again if symptoms persist or worsen. ***Get Well Soon*** “Cold sponging is the best treatment if fever is uncontrolled.”

avoid day time sleep, avoid tea, coffee and cola in late evening and after. 8 hours sleep is ok . 10 pm to 6 am is perfect timing. take rtest and balanced diet.

I have problem of cervical spondylosis and it got worse day by day. Even cervical exercise does not give any benefit. Plzz tell me what exercise or solution so that I will get cured completely.

Avoid all exercise at this time avoid strain do physiotherapy treatment for 10 days after relief do stretching exercise of neck and avoid toward bending and lifting heavyweight and computer work.

Taking medicine for controlling anger and regulating sleep will give you short term or temporary relief. But it will have its side effects like getting addicted to the medicine and a few others. Similarly your tolerance level will go up, means, soon you will have to increase the dose to have the same effect on your body. At the age of 34 you are actually damaging your body by taking medicines for managing anger and sleep. Instead of taking medicines, try yoga, pranayama or any other exercise. You may also try counselling. Counselling will help you in identifying and managing your anger triggers/issues. With the help of counselling you will learn to modify your thought processes thereby calming your mind, which will help you in having a sound sleep.
