Avoid long sitting toward bending tk break between long sitting use soft pillow for back support. Do hot fermentation and stretching exercise of spine and legs. If it work then ok otherwise physiotherapy treatment.

Hamstring Stretch Lie on your back with your left leg flat on the floor. Loop a towel or rope around your right foot and pull your leg as far as comfortable toward your chest, while keeping a slight bend at the knee. Keep your back pressed to the floor throughout the stretch. Hold for 10 to 30 seconds and then release. Repeat 3 or 4 times with each leg. Do this stretch 5 or 6 times a week. Short-Arc Knee Extensions In the same starting position as the straight-leg raises, put a ball (about the size of a basketball) under your left knee so that your leg is bent. Slowly straighten your leg. Hold, then slowly lower. Repeat with your right leg. Exercises To Avoid A few of the following exercises can be done safely if you have chronic knee problems; they're on this list because they're more likely to be done improperly. The exercises above are safer, while still giving you similar results. •Full-arc knee extensions •Lunges •Deep squats •Hurdler's stretches.

For pain in your moms foot we need to take paracetamol eight hourly and she needs to avoid pickles, papads in her diet and we need to urgently control her obesity.

You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. I had a few seconds of unprotected sex mid-cycle (14th day). Then, used condom and also took Ipill in 15 hours. It's been 10 days since I took the Ipill, still no bleeding. Just feeling light headed, a little bloated and slight pain in lower back. Really tensed. My next date is due on 20th May. What can I do right away to check the risk and ease my anxiety?

Do not do any thing, just wait till your due date. It seems you have taken the pill in good time, so most likely you are protected from unwanted pregnancy.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

I am suffering from backache from oct/2016. Consulted with an orthopedic super specialist and suggested the following tests: X-ray, urine culture, ESR, CRP (Q), URIC ACID, ASO (Q). Out of which uric acid- 7.01 and ASO (Q) is 476.31. Kindly suggest me what to do? What may be the impact of these ratings. Hello! don't be panic consult physiotherapist .and do regularly back strengthen exercises to minimise pain and gain strength in low back muscle .don't addict to medication like pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs .use ice pack over the pain region for 10 min for more clarification consult physio.

Start with physiotherapy treatment and learn exercise for spine. Don't sit on floor. Use knee cap also. Take calcium and glucosamine supplement for 2 month.

Hello do cold fomentation for 15-20 min thrice in a day. Avoid using computer, take rest for 5 min after working for 1 hour. You can use thin pillow while sleeping. In pain free range do neck exercises. Maintain proper body posture while watching tv/studying. Revert me after 7 days. Thanks.

Tips to cure knee joint pain.. 1.Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 2. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling 3.Peel two cloves of garlic and crush it. Add this to a glass of milk. Boil it on a mild flame till one-fourth glass remains. Filter and make two equal parts. Drink one part in the morning and the other in the evening. 4.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 5. Take 1 tsf castor oil with milk at night once a week.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hello lybrate-user, sitting in one posture for a long time is always a reason for pain and discomfort. You can try doing stretching for back every hour. You could do back strengthening exercises at home. You could do one leg raises and hip bridging while holding for 15 to 30 seconds. Any band will give a temporary relief. Try correcting the way you sit and make sure the desk and chair are at a comfortable height. Take care.
