My lifestyle is sedentary and I work from home. Whole day I have to sit from 9-6 to do office work. I do not get time to do exercise and go out but still these days I have started some stretching and pranayam. Hence I have reduced my calorie intake and limit it to 800- 1200 calorie diet and I am a pure vegetarian. Will it help me to reduce my weight? Is this diet enough for me?

It depends, along with these calories are you also getting good amount of Minerals and vitamins too. Add 20 gm soaked pumpkin seeds (early morning), 4 soaked dry apricot (after 1 hour of breakfast, about 09: 30-10: 00 am), Fresh seasonal fruits (about 03: 30- 04: 00 pm, after 3 hours of lunch) and vegetable salad (with lunch and dinner. If you do stretching, do Suryanamaskar, start from 5 cycles and gradually increase the number. Will see faster results.

How to Remove Negative Beliefs and Mental Blocks

Think you’re smart, rational or open-minded? You are, if you submit to suspending your beliefs and challenging them from time to time, at least privately, through an internal dialogue. This article will give you the tools you need to eliminate any negative beliefs or mental blocks. Learning how to shift to a more useful belief or learning how to eliminate a self-defeating belief is a prerequisite for any kind of progress or achievement.

Don’t you get annoyed with the person who says to you, “I know it’s a problem, but that’s how I am!” Or do you feel compelled to accept that answer with sympathy? Are YOU someone who conveniently uses that line? By the way, it’s also a line commonly used by eve-teasers, rapists, serial offenders... you get the point! It’s basically saying, “I am not going to change”. Something that “feels natural”, is neither justified, nor is it a permanent part of YOU (i.e., your identity). It’s just like the “natural” feeling you get about wanting to kill your boss or an irritating colleague sometimes...but you don’t actually stab them, do you? (Coward!)

Therefore, the question is: Would you rather “feel natural” or would you rather be happier and more productive? EVERY belief is literally constructed by an individual. We’re born with a tabula rasa – a blank mental slate. Mathematically, if everything is constructed, then everything can similarly be deconstructed as well. Changing beliefs requires two things – volition (your decision to change) and an effective analytical method. The former will reduce the number of people who read further by 80%, and the latter will transform about 10-20% of the remaining ones. (So needless to say, believing a limiting belief to be permanent is the most destructive belief of them all! )

Okay, here we go... the effective analytical method in four steps:

1) Pick the belief that’s limiting your progress; the one you want to change. For example, “I can’t communicate or speak fluently.”

2) Eliminate this belief by analysis. Ask yourself:
a. From whom did I pick up this belief? Is that person an authority on the subject?
For example, “I don’t know...I’ve been saying that to myself for a while,” or “A parent or teacher or Mr. X told me I can’t”. Yeah, they told Albert Einstein that he was too dumb to learn too! Even if that person is an expert on the subject, haven’t experts been proven wrong on so many occasions?
b. What examples did I focus on (or failed to focus on) when establishing this stupid belief?
For example, “I was too nervous in school and messed up one-time...and then it just became a habit because I believed the first failure to be a permanent part of my communication skills.” “I failed to focus on the times I did okay.”
c. How has this belief affected my well-being? And what is it going to cost me in future?
Note down all the negative consequences of retaining this belief. For example, “I haven’t made a lot of friends, I’m unable to crack a job interview, get very nervous talking to people, and my career is going to remain ordinary. Consequently, I’m going to suffer in my relationships and financial life as well.”
d. How is this belief ridiculous or dumb?
For example, “It’s dumb because everyone without a medical problem can speak well. I speak well with my closest friend or family member. Why can’t I do the same with others? I just haven’t made enough effort.”

3) Add a new belief. Find all possible new ways:
a. Past event. Can you remember a time when you demonstrated the OPPOSITE?
For example, “Yes, I spoke pretty well when I was __ years old”, “Yes, once, when I was talking to XYZ last year”.
b. Is there an area of your life you already do/are this?
For example, “Sometimes...with my father”, or even “yes, with myself!”
c. Can you model someone else to do/be this? (Whether that person is in your network, on TV, or even modelling an imaginary belief... it doesn’t matter!)
For example, “I love how that news anchor speaks. I notice he talks louder and opens his mouth clearly while speaking... maybe I’ll try that.”
d. Educate yourself. What can you learn?
For example, “I can go on Youtube and watch videos on good communication techniques”, “I’ll start talking to my close friend in English (for someone who’s not fluent with English) and ask her to teach/correct me repeatedly,” or “I’ll buy that book on Flipkart”.

4) Pick the most useful ways from Step 3 to strengthen this new belief. Keep practising this new behaviour and keep questioning the old belief.
For example, when you say to yourself, “Oh I can’t speak well”, STOP! And remember that you’ve done this exercise above. Then remind yourself Step 2 (i.e., the consequences of continuing this belief, and why it’s dumb). Finally, strengthen the NEW belief with Step 3. R.E.P.E.A.T every time you catch yourself thinking of the limiting belief.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it. *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -Apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Good posture plays a key role in your spine health, helping to prevent additional back and neck pain and even injuries to spinal structures. Try to be aware of your posture and make good posture part of your normal routine. -head up, shoulders back, rear tucked under -Stand and walk with correct posture -Sit with support -Lift and carry carefully -And finally, keep moving:-Maintaining a static position for too long—more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time—is hard on the back. Prolonged static posture can slowly deplete elasticity from the tissues. By simply moving—be it a change of position, a stretch, or a short walk—the tissue elasticity needed to protect your joints can be restored and the associated discomfort reduced. -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT current can give you relief. -Consult a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your back pain. Homoeopathic treatment whitening cream (biovalley) apply in circular fashion in morning and at night whitening soap (biovalley) wash face with this face wash before applying whitening cream suncare cream (bakson) apply 30 minutes before going outside and again reapply after 3-4 hrs after washing with whitening soap papaya pack (bakson) daily apply on face directly in evening when you think you're not going outside now and wash face after it is dry.

Approximately 4-6 gms of sodium is sufficient for your daily needs.This equals about 2 tsps of common salt. 2-3 tsps of sugar can suffice daily, however this should include any sweets, dessert, and your tea, coffee etc. Try to avoid free sugar intake.... instead have dried fruits & fresh fruits.

Yes, banana is not a very good option for dinner time. You can eat papaya or salad including cucumber, spinach, broccoli etc.

Hello, Namaste. Mai Dr. Richa Sharma. Faridabad mein mere Ayurveda centre me Ayurveda chikitsa karti hun. Mera Panchakarma Centre hai. 24 saalo se Panchakarma hum kar rahe hai. Mera ye anubhav raha hai ki sabhi patients hai ya jansamanya mein ayurveda ko lekar bohot si bhrantiyaan hai. Jaise ki Ayurveda mein bohot se dawaiya ya tablets diye jaate hai. Koi sure shot solution nahi hai ayurveda mein ya phir heavy metals hote hai, toxins hote hai. Lekin aisa nahi hai. Mai iss madhyam k zariye sabhi ko batana chahti hun ki ayurveda ek 5000 saal purana, shayad usse bhi purana science hai aur bohot hi trusted aur tested science hai. Har level pe jancha aur parkha gaya hai. Isiliye aaj bhi jo 5000 saal pehle iske bhi jo mul sidhant the, jis tarah se khade the usi tarah se aaj k samay me bhi ajise humara khaan paan, rehen sehen sab badal gaya hai.

Aaj k samay mein bhi wo utne hi khade hai. To Ayureda k baare me hum kahe to uska jo naam hai Ayurveda, Ayu aur Veda. 2 shabde mila kar banaya gaya hai Ayurveda shabd. Ayu matlab life aur Veda ka matlab science. To jisme jeewan ka science hai, humare liye sahi kya hai, humare swasthya k liye sahi kya hai galat kya hai iska warnan diya gaya hai. Iske baad mein phir chikitsa k baare me bataya gaya hai aur yaha tak ki mansik rog na ho isliye ek sadwrut naam ka heading diya hai ek chapter hai jisme humara social behaviour kaisa hona chahiye, logon k saath humara behaviour kaisa hona chahiye iske baare mein jankari diya gaya hai. To kul milakar Ayurveda mein ek holistic approach tha k aap sharirik aur mansik roop se kaise swasthya reh sakte hai.


Ayurveda mein jo Panchakarma k baare me kuch aapko kehna chahungi. Panchakarma Ayurveda ka ek bhinna ang hai. Panchkarma yaani paanch kaam jaise naam se suggest hota hai. 5 karma jo ki sharir shuddhi ki kriyayen hai. Iska kaam sharir ki suddhi karna bhi hai aur saath me therapeutic use bhi hai, chikitsak use bhi hai iska. Swasthya wyakti bhi Panchkarma kara sakte hai jaise ki agar aap sharir suddhi karate hai, detoxification karte hai. Humare roz marra k jewan mein metabolism k karan jo toxics jama hote hai use bahar nikalne me madad karta hai.

Detoxification karne se immunity badhti hai, immunity badhne se rog hone ki sambhawnaye kam hoti hai, metabolic disorders kam hote hai. Saath hi agar jo rog hote bhi hai to uski tiwrata kam hoti hai, mild form me rog hote hai. Yehi Panchkarma agar rogi ko diya jai to rog ka jo mul karan Ayurveda me kaha gaya hai tridosha. Tridosha ka jab balance bigadta hai watwitkaf ka tabhi rog hote hai. To in Tridosho ko zyada badhe huye dosho ko sharir se bahar nikala jaata hai Panchakarma k dwara. Iske baad me jo dawaiya di jaati hai wo kam matra me di jaati hai aur zyada asar karti hai kyuki sharir shudh ho chuka hota hai aapka. Saath hi rog k dubara se wapas aane ki sambhawna kam ho jaati hai, jo ki reaction hota hai kisi bhi disease ka wo kam ho jaati hai. To iss tarah se Panchkarma humare jewan k liye bohot hi upyogi aur swasthya rakhne k liye zaruri chiz hai.
Panchkarma 5 prakar ki hoti hai, pehla vamana hai, vamana ka matlab hai hum induce karte hai vomiting jisme ki alag alag kaadhe diye jaate hai, pilaye jaate hai aur jo naabhi k upar ka part hai cough k liye hum vamana treatment ko prefer karte hai. Thyroid hai, motapa hai, cholestrol badha hua hai, dimag k rog hai uske liye vamana bohot upyogi saabit hota hai. Dusra Virechana hai, Virechana matlab induced purgation jisme ki medicines k dwara dast hum patients ko lagwate hai aur sharir ki gandagi bahar nikalte hai gudam marg k dwara. In nabhi k niche k rog, pittak k rog, twacha k rog, rakth k rog, isme bohot upyogi hota hai. Motape me bhi Virechana chikitsa bohot accha kaam karti hai. Teesra hai Basti Chikitsa. Basti Chikita ko Ayurveda k medicine vibhag me aadhi chikitsa kahi gayi hai.

Ye gudam marg k dwara jaise anemia hote hai waise hi kaadhe hai, shehad hai, medicines k powder hai, sab mila k medicated oils diya jaata hai. Fir Rakta Moksha hai jo ki Blood Letting hai aur iske ilawa nassein hai jo naak k dwara medicines ko daala jaata hai. To ye Panchakarma treatment k dwara hum apne sharir ko swasthya rakh sakte hai aur saath me rogon se mukti bhi pa sakte hai. Iske baare me aap ko agar jankari chahiye to aap Librate k through mujhe contact kar sakte hai ya mere clinic me aa sakte hai.

Take following homoeo medicines berberus aquifolium q 30 ml sbl or any company 10 drops 3 times per day in water also apply berberis aq oin. Both avaliable in homoeo medical or online. Take full sleep no late night drink planty water eat vegetables fruits wash face with himilaya face wash.

I'm 19 years old boy. My height is 6.5 and weight is 60kg. In last few years my increases too much. And still my height is increasing. I am so thin and tall. I feel shame in my society, college, etc. I am so taller than all the girls. Please help me to reduce my height. I think reduction is not possible. Dear Lybrtae User, As per medical teminology, if your weight is increase you fell look less taller then now. here your BMI (Body mass index) is less. so try your best to increase weight. You look too much taller as your weight is less.

Instead of taking multivitamins and other stuffs please be pragmatic and go to a doctor for a routine medical check up. You would be suggested some basic tests like CBC, ESR, Blood sugar, liver profile, Renal profile, urine test etc that can be useful. Let the doctor diagnose the problem. Please always take the doctors opinion before you make up your own opinion about your health. Please eat only home made healthy food with daily fruits and vegetables. Exercise every day (Yoga and pranayam can be very beneficial if done sincerely every day ). Learn more about health and healthy lifestyle from the internet and maintain good health.
