What are jelqing and kegel exercises and how it can be done please tell me that way.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Jelqing, which is believed to have originated in the Middle East, is an ancient masturbation-like technique to increase the length and girth of a man's penis by forcing blood flow to the tip. Though there are many variations, the basic method consists of wrapping the thumb and index finger firmly around the base of the shaft and continually sliding the hand down to the head. Apparently, it's best to jelq a well-lubed, semierect penis — jelqing a rock-hard member could cause a ruptured blood vessel. To get started: Find the right muscles. To identify your pelvic floor muscles, stop urination in midstream or tighten the muscles that keep you from passing gas. These maneuvers use your pelvic floor muscles. Once you've identified your pelvic floor muscles, you can do the exercises in any position, although you might find it easiest to do them lying down at first. Perfect your technique. Tighten your pelvic floor muscles, hold the contraction for three seconds, and then relax for three seconds. Try it a few times in a row. When your muscles get stronger, try doing Kegel exercises while sitting, standing or walking. Maintain your focus. For best results, focus on tightening only your pelvic floor muscles. Be careful not to flex the muscles in your abdomen, thighs or buttocks. Avoid holding your breath. Instead, breathe freely during the exercises. Repeat 3 times a day. Aim for at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day. Don't make a habit of using Kegel exercises to start and stop your urine stream. Some doctors think this could cause a bladder infection.

All above problems are mainly due to inadequate and irregular sleep. Such also observed in old age and in diabetic patients. You have not mentioned your age and complete history. In my view start simple yogasana for 20 minutes daily, do meditation at least for 10 minutes. Take simple diet with milk, dry fruits and seasonal fruits. Do scalp massage regularly with almond oil twice in a day. This will work effectively. Taking chemical medicine in long term is dangerous. Ayurveda herbal remedial measures are safe and effective.

If someone has pcod than what are the problems a women can suffer form? And if she had pcod then she can be pregnant or not?

General Physician, Nashik
Hello, PCOS or pcod s a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. PCOS also may cause unwanted changes in the way you look. If it isn't treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. The most common symptoms are: Acne.Weight gain and trouble losing weight.Extra hair on the face and body.Thinning hair or even hair loss on scalp.Irregular periods. Often women with PCOS have fewer than nine periods a year. Some women have no periods. Others have very heavy bleeding.Fertility problems. Many women who have PCOS have trouble getting pregnant(infertility), depression. Regular exercise, healthy foods, and weight control are the key treatments for PCOS. Treatment (hormonal) can reduce unpleasant symptoms and help prevent long-term health problems. Try to fit in moderate activity and/or vigorous activity often. Brisk Walking, jogging, dance or aerobics are great exercise that most people can do.Eat heart-healthy foods. This includes lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, and whole grains. It limits foods that are high insaturated fat, such as meats, cheeses, and fried foods. Most women who have PCOS can benefit from losing weight. Even losing 5kg may help get your hormones in balance, regulate your menstrual cycle and can make you ovulate.

Sir my friend want to know that how much time a person should have to masturbate in a day and is it safe or harmful.

MBBS, MCCEE, Fellowship in Sexual Medicine
Sexologist, Jaipur
Ideally masturbation should not be more than 2-3 times a week for any adult. It will keep you sexually active. Too much of everything is bad as always. Along with this schedule of masturbation you need proper diet which should consist of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and one hour of jogging early morning every day. This will keep you fit for future activity also.

Im 18, I started masturbating from 15, I masturbate almost everyday, now I became a porn addict, im afraid is it going to affect my health, I tried stopping but all my efforts are gone in vain, if ill stop it for 2-3 days then I start having nightfalls, which is even more disgusting, what should I do?

BAMS, MD Ayurveda
Sexologist, Lonavala
As per your concern i would suggest you to do following remedy Mix Triphala powder in water. Keep it away for half an hour. Add a table spoon of pure honey. Have this in early morning daily. Raw onion dish eaten daily also can fix the matter. Have sweet soup made up of black gram. Combine black gram, rice, wheat and long pepper in equal quantities. Grind them to form powder. Fry the mixture in pure clarified butter so cook it with milk. Eat when adding sugar to that. Causes: Consistent with Ayurvedic concepts, nightfall is because of Vata irritation. Quickness is the primary nature of Vata. Its affectability is expanded by over considering sex. So for the curing of nightfall Vata ought to be cured and adjusted. Overindulgence in sexual considering, constipation, unhealthy diet, low water intake are likewise a percentage of the fundamental driver of the nightfall. This will help with your concern
