I'm 24 yr old, female and I have dark circles since many years. What should I do?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, Common reasons for dark circle are aging, genetics, nutritional deficiency (of vitamin A, C, K, E) , sleep deprivation, worm-infestation, anemia, smoking & drinking, dehydration, sun exposure, allergies, stress/ tension and hormonal changes. Research also suggests that dark circles are linked to anemia, and liver diseases. So, in case of dark circles which are there due to some underlying cause can be get rid rid of once the causative factor is rectified. But the dark circles which are inherited from our genes can't be removed completely, to some extent can make slightly better. Diet and Management: Thus, always take a balanced diet rich in green leafy vegetable, dairy products and all types of fruits to keep your body healthy. It is advisable to have at least 10-12 glasses of water and include fresh fruit daily. It is also advisable to restrict the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as it aggravates dehydration. Take enough of 6-8hrs. Of sleep. Avoid taking stress/ tension. Do daily exercising regularly as it increases oxygen carrying capacity of the cells and tissues. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines – Schwabe's Cina 1M/ one dose at night for 10 days; Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. - both twice daily for 20 days. Revert me back there after.

Heart Attacks and Drinking Warm Water

Heart Attacks and Drinking Warm Water
Heart Attacks and Drinking Warm Water

Study shows reasons why chinese and japanese are more healthy inspite if they having weaker genes than indians.

The chinese and japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

It is very harmful to have cold drink/water during a meal. Because, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

French fries and burgers are the biggest enemy of heart health. A coke after that gives more power to this demon. Avoid them for your heart's health.

Drink one glass of warm water just when you are about to go to bed to avoid clotting of the blood at night to avoid heart attacks or strokes.

My hairs curl hair. What should I have done for smooth and straight hair. And which hair oil orshampo are use?

MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Pathanamthitta
firstly, stop using smoothing products on your hair. They vil worsen your hair. Your hair needs a lot of your attention and care. Wash hair occasionly. Use lukewarm water, not too hot, not too cold. Shampoo hair twice or thrice a week and not more. Use very mild shampoos suitable for dry hair. Massage scalp to improve circulation and hair health. Eat right. Eat plenty of pulses, meat, fish, milk and milk products. Dry hair naturally and not with blowdryers. Dry hair with towel. Avoid crimping, perming straightening and curling hair devices. Avoid repeated colouring and bleaching of hair. Protect hair from excess sunlight with caps. Exercise regularly. Practice yoga to destres .use parachute coconut oil and Pantene shampoo.

Consume it once or twice a day. •Menthol and menthone are the primary components of mint which are very effective in alleviating headaches. •Peppermint contains menthol that helps open up clogged blood vessels that cause headaches. It also has calming and soothing effects. •Basil works as a muscle relaxant, making it a helpful treatment for mild headaches caused by tense muscles. Plus, it has calming and analgesic effects.•Simply smelling the soothing scent of lavender essential oil can be of great help in relieving tension headaches. Research suggests that it can also help improve migraine symptoms. •The cold from ice helps reduce inflammation that contributes to headaches. Plus, it has a numbing effect on the pain. •Simply massage your forehead and temples with a few drops of rosemary oil mixed in a tablespoon of carrier oil. •Crush a few cloves gently and put them in a sachet or a clean handkerchief. Inhale the smell of the crushed cloves whenever you have a headache until you get some relief from the pain. •Simply eat an apple with some salt. •Accupuncture: Press and massage the fleshy area between the thumb and index finger, at the highest spot of the muscle when both the thumb and finger are brought close together. Do this for one or two minutes and then repeat on the other hand. Exercise Regular exercise can reduce the frequency and intensity of headaches and migraines. When one exercises, the body releases endorphins, which are the body’s natural painkillers. Exercise reduces stress and helps individuals to sleep at night. Stress and inadequate sleep are two migraine triggers. Homeopathic treatment In order to prescribe a homeopathic remedy, it is crucial to discover what is unique about the way an individual experiences a headache. For example, all migraine sufferers may experience nausea, but a particular individual may feel thirsty for cold drinks with the headache. Thirst for cold drinks is the characteristic symptom that sets one migraine sufferer apart from others. There are hundreds of possible remedies for the treatment of headaches, so the key is finding which homeopathic remedy most closely matches your symptoms.

Do I need an implant for my missing canine? Also underbite and open bite braces and jaw surgery in the process.

MFDS RCPS (Glasgow), MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, BDS
Dentist, Delhi
Hi lybrate-user You seem to have looked up your problems on the internet, or seen a dental surgeon. As far as missing teeth are concerned, they ideally should be replaced. Implants are currently the best available option for the same, and should be considered first. However, other options do exist, and you can discuss these with your dentist before selecting the one you find most appropriate to your situation. As for braces and jaw surgery, it would be difficult to give you any opinion without specific evaluation (clinical and xrays). It would be best that you set up an appointment with a dental surgeon and discuss your problems and the possible treatment options, and go ahead with the most feasible one. Thanks.
