I am 50 years old and sometimes facing anxiety specially in morning after finished my breakfast while going to office...
Lybrate user, Anxiety disorder is characterised by raised heart beats, dry mouth, tremors, sweating along with other symptoms. You are describing morning worsening of symptoms. I would recommend you to consult a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation as anxiety like symptoms might be seen with physical ailments. Anxiety can be treated and brought under control with medicines. All the best!

Lybrate user, Welcome to this forum! I see that your wife is refusing to take treatment and she is symptomatic i.e paranoid about others. There are other ways to deal with this problem - 1) get her admitted in a hospital with psychiatry ward. 2) can start with depot injections or tablets that medicines that can be given on months/weekly basis. 3) follow up with psychiatrist for any other suggestions. All the best! Regular treatment is of utmost importance in a violent patient. Healthy mind is as important as healthy body. For more queries you can consult me online.

How to prevent from phobia, negative thoughts, depression, anxiety. Is any therapy to cure this type of psychological ...
Lybrate user, Welcome to this forum! Yes depression and anxiety can be treated and cured with medicines. Negative thoughts and phobias can be curbed using therapy and medicines. Since depression and anxiety have neurobiological and environmental causes like stress, it can start suddenly in anyone. Prevention of recurrence or relapse is possible with regular medical and counselling therapies. Healthy mind is as important as healthy body! All the best!

I am a 33 year old and I have been drinking alcohol almost alternate days over the last 1 year. Recently underwent a Liver function test and the results were as follows (Those in high level) Bilirubin T- 2.64 Bilirubin D-0.8 SGOT-54 SGPT-102 ALBUMIN-5.1 Rest of the things are under the normal level and looks fine. I would like to know if I am in a phase to give up alcoholic intake and move on. Please help me.

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Thane
lybrate-user, Your pattern suggests that slowly gradually are getting dependent on alcohol. Also your altered blood reports suggests the same. Its good that you are motivated to quit. I would suggest treatment that would reduce craving, also replace physical need of alcohol. Consult a psychiatrist for the same.
