It usually happens and should go away on its own, if not then I would suggest going for a thyroid profile testing (blood test) and proceed accordingly.

Most of covid 19 cases due to coronavirus are asymptomatic so its really hard to tell by symptoms alone. Also loss of smell (anosmia) is a common symptom of covid 19.
