Hello, it's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! are you really 7'2" height? then you should contact limca book of records! go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: management: 1: drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: enjoy your favorite foods. 4: have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! medication: start taking schwabe's phytolacca berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.

Dear user, your symptoms can be of postural back pain. First correct your posture. Change your position after every 45 minutes. Sit straight, avoid excessive lumbar forward bending, use hard mattress during sleeping. Take hot fomentation, tens/ift, u. S. Therapy, lumbar extension strenghtening exercises. Thanks.

There are two ways to treat ACL injury. Treatment depends upon severity of injury and resultant laxity. Physiotherapy is done for muscle strengthening and if there is improvement to such an extent that patient doesn't feel any instability then well. if patient doesn't feel he had stable knee, treatment then becomes Arthroscopic reconstruction of ACL. there is no way to repair ACL.

5 Health Tips to master the Art of Healthy Living:

There’s an art to healthy living, and part of that is recognizing our impact on others. To ensure Healthy Life I had gathered the top five ways to live a healthy, environmentally friendly life!

1. Eat clean

Eating clean means keeping your food as simple and nutritious as possible. In other words, close to the original source! Stick to whole foods, says Dr. Su Fairchild, a specialist in integrative medicine. Avoid or limit simple sugars and processed carbs, including flour products, because they cause your blood sugar to spike, provoking your body’s insulin response and promoting weight gain. You can consume good fats like olive oil and coconut oil in sensible amounts, and don’t forget to eat a rainbow of organic vegetables.

Medical oncologist Dr. Sewa Legha also suggests using the USDA guidelines on ChooseMyPlate.gov. By cutting out processed foods, which are often overly packaged, you reduce your diet’s environmental impact—and you live a healthier life too!


2. Stay hydrated

Hydration is an important part of a balanced lifestyle. Dr. Randy Baker, a specialist in holistic medicine, strongly advises avoiding soft drinks like soda (one of the worst things you can do for your health, he says) and excess juices because of the calories. Water should be your main source of fluids. Internist Dr. Steven Tucker notes that you should also avoid all artificial sweeteners, including beverage mixes, because your body still responds to “fake sugar.” People who drink a soda a day increase their diabetes risk by 50%, and those who drink diet sodas increase their risk by 20%.

Pediatric urologist Dr. George Klauber lists several benefits to drinking water: avoiding unnecessary calorie intake and the effects of caffeine and alcoholism, keeping your kidneys flushed, reducing urinary acidity for people with sensitive bladders, and saving money! Stick to water and you avoid the health risks involved with processed foods.

3. Exercise outside

Take advantage of the great outdoors and go for a run! Besides improving your cardiovascular health, outdoor workouts help your body produce vitamin D. Endocrinologist Dr. Philip Kern says, “During summer, you need about 20 min [of sunlight] at midday, longer at other times of day. In winter, or extreme northern latitudes, it takes longer. This is why there is usually a seasonal winter drop in blood [vitamin D] levels.” To get the full benefit of the sun, make sure you aren’t getting it through window glass!

If running is too aggressive for you, take a walk. It’s an easy, low-impact form of aerobic exercise, and doctors agree: it’s beneficial to your health!


4. Manage your stress

As internist Dr. Lori Wagner says, “Don’t let stress get in the way of taking care of yourself.” Managing your stress can include taking breaks, staying organized, and doing five-minute meditation sessions at your desk. By controlling your stress levels, you control your response to stress: overeating, undereating, overcaffeinating, skipping the gym, etc. Stress impacts your health and your relationship to your environment, so keep a close eye on it.



5. Practice preventive care

Besides updating your shots/immunization records and seeing your doctor for an annual physical, preventive care that you can practice daily involves sun protection and reducing your risk for obesity. Plastic surgeon Dr. Bryan McIntosh says, “UV light is damaging to skin and undoubtedly a cause of skin cancers, so sun protection is always important.” Don’t forget to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and protective clothing (like a hat!) if you’ll be out in the sun.

Dr. Dean Giannone, a specialist in internal medicine, says, “Obesity can compromise the heart, the lungs, the liver, the knees, the hips, the ankles, the muscles, and the spine. It can affect your sleep, making you tired and inattentive during the day. By establishing a healthy diet and exercise routine, you can prevent obesity and other cardiovascular risks.

Hi 33 yr old female. Ht 5' 4" weight 76. Married for 7 years. First delivery 2009, forcep delivery. L4-l5 disectomy oct 2010 triggered by overflow incontinence. Second delivery feb 2013. Movement in l4-l5 again causing pain radiating to legs. Kindly advise treatment. Currently due to pain not able to exercise

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

Recommended 1. Lima beans (hindi: sem phali) as it increases thyroid function, garbanzo beans, peas, collard beans, green beans etc 2. Colored vegetables -like carrots, pumpkin, squash, eggplant, etc 3. Omega 3 essential fatty acids (present in flex seeds, brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, cloves, mustard seeds powder, 4. Fruits: avocado, apples, kiwi, pears, berries, raspberries, strawberries, 5. Low-fat milk, cheese, plain yogurt, eggs, anchovies, sardines, lean beef, pork loin, turkey breast, lentils, mushrooms, bran cereal, whole grain bread, oatmeal, flaxseed oil, coconut oil 6. Others: potato, sweet potato, pepper, mushroom, rhubarb, prune, green tea, garlic, herbs & spices 7. Olive oil and coconut oil are safe seldom/not recommended some foods contain substances called goitrogens, which can cause the thyroid gland to enlarge. Goitrogenic foods can also slow down the thyroid, resulting in under activity. Goitrogenic foods: avoided or eaten sparingly if you suspect hypothyroidism that too 8 hours after thyroid medication. 1 millet, corn etc. 2 turnips, kale, watercress & spinach 3 cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, brussels sprouts 4 avoid use of butter 5 peanuts, peanut butter & soy product, almonds, pine nuts, etc. 6 all vegetable oil containing soya bean (check label) 7 oils that block iodine: canola oil 8 limit caffeine to 1 cup a day 9 avoid soft drinks & liquor maintaining a good diet and getting regular exercise are both helpful habits toward a healthy thyroid.
