You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …6) avoid coffee and tea. A) take 40 ml of DAAAIMAVLEHA after meals along with 30 ml of water. B) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and madhumalini vasant rasa after meals C) Eat 1 tsf of flax seeds after meals, do all things for 7 days. This formulation is 100% effective. I am 21 year old woman, from last 2 months my period flow is very low. I do not know sudden what happen from last two months?

As the periods come on proper time but the amount of menstrual flow is very low and do not last for 2-3 days. It means that your hormones that control the the periods (menstruation) have normal cycle but the amount of hormones are less than normal that's why the flow is scanty. *for normal & adequate menstrual flow get up early in the morning and take a fast walk for atleast 15 -20 minutes. If you can run, then run atleast for 3-5 minutes. * practice bhujangasana (cobra postion) & pawanmuktasana everyday only under the guidance of yoga expert. * check out your thyroid profile & in case of abnormal reports get the proper treatment of it. * monitor your weight & if you are overweight then do more physical activities & change lifestyle to reduce the weight so that the peroids get normal. * eat more green leafy vegetables & avoid fast foods having high refined starch & fat. * you can take dashmoolarisht for your scanty periods only under the supervision of ayurvedic doctor. My mother feels very hot even in winters. From past few days she is having pain at the back of her neck. She also has bronchitis problem. I would like to ask that what should I do?

Hi. Your mother may be in pre or post menopausal phase when because of the hormone fluctuation, body experiences many changes from mood swings to hot flushes. Winter is the time when people cherish food for several reasons, be it the seasonal availability of certain food items and their unique flavor, color, taste, etc. Also, during winters we need to add food that warm us and helps to build immunity to fight against common cold, cough and flu.
This season brings with it hearty winter greens like palak, methi, sarson, muli and high energy and protein grains like Bajra and makki which are loaded with warmth giving quality.

All this calls for higher intake of food leading to more calorie intake than usual. Here are some winter foods with high nutritional value coming in a low calorie package.

1. Methi leaves: In winters, methi leaves are available in abundance and are fresh. It is an excellent source of folate, vitamin A, B6, C, and K. It is excellent in boosting immunity during the winter months. Methi instantly increases body heat which is perfect for cold days. Methi also helps in lowering the cholesterol and control diabetes. It can be consumed in many ways either make a parantha out of it or a subzi, its goodness remains there.

2. Citrus fruits: Citrus fruits especially orange and grapefruit are at their juiciest in the wintertime. Loaded with vitamin C. Citrus fruits are also rich in flavonoids, which are known to boost ‘good’ HDL cholesterol and lowering “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.
