Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion you can also use the one part of baking soda with two part of water to create a paste. Baking soda is a natural exfoliator and helps in the gentle scraping of the scar tissue layer by layer. Scrub (avoid vigorous rubbing) this paste on your scars for a minute or two and after that you can rinse it off with cold water.

Some children show delayed milestones. If his general health is good and eats well wait for 2 months. Avoid walker. Take homeopathy from a good homeopath in your locality.

Hi doc, my baby is 3 and half month old. From last 3 days she is having dark green colour poo, only once in a day. She is on formula milk, as I don't have sufficient milk for her. Little worried about her, please advice. Thanks.

Please tell her weight and change formula and feed it with a cup and spoon and not from bottle. If you keep feeding there should be sufficient milk, from 4 months you can start giving homemade semi solids like kitchri, dal mashed and banana mashed egg yolk mashed to paste like consistency. For regular advice on child rearing you ask me personally.

You shall get blood culture report to reach to conclusion that which drug is effective for your child's typhoid fever. I doubt it is typhoid as 17 days fever is unusual.

Breast feeding is best for your baby, formula feeding is just substitution. Colostrum is the so called" witch milk" that comes out from the mother's nipple for 2-3 days after child birth. It should definately be given to the baby as it is a rich source of immunoglobulins and anti-infective factors for the baby. Burp your child everytime after a feed.Motherhood has to be enjoyed rather than a duty to fulfill.

Hello doctor. My 6 year old daughter is suffering with microcytic hypochromic anaemia. With hemoglobin 4.2. Her pediatrician suggested tonoferon syrup. N vitamin C tablets. But she's having fever, vomiting and stomach pain. And loss of appetite. Her ultra sound scanning is normal. Liver functioning test seems normal. Can you please suggest what is the cause n treatment. Please advice me proper medication. Waiting for a soon reply. Thank you.

MD Paediatrics, MBBS
Pediatrician, Hyderabad
For haemoglobin of 4.2 and child being weak I suggest you to go for a blood transfusion initially and continue the oral medication. Since it will take time for hb to rise when child is on oral medications, blood transfusion will instantly raise the hb levels so that child will feel good.
