Dear lybrate-user, Rejection is a painful thing and difficult to accept. What you are going through is normal, however this certainly cannot and should not persist for too long and interfere with your daily life. Love is a beautiful emotion but it also brings with it expectations. When your expectations of acceptance from your friend wasn't met you are feeling dejected. You need to understand​ that your friend hasn't reciprocated to your feelings the way you wished he had, but that certainly doesn't mean that he has rejected you as a person. There is no need to feel humiliated. I suggest that you accept the fact that you have feelings for him but he doesn't feel the same way, and there is nothing wrong in having feelings for someone. At the same time your life has it's priorities and needs, so take life in control and start to slowly incorporate other things/activities. I advice you to talk to a professional, it will help you express yourself openly and deal with your emotions, give you a platform to understand​ yourself and if you are slipping into depression then professional intervention will help arrest it right away. Just think about it: you’re doing a light version of a plank, standing up! 5. Strengthen Your Core Glute Bridge: Lie on back with bent knees, feet on floor. Lift butt, drawing pelvis to the ceiling without arching back. Lower butt down slowly. Bird Dog: From all fours, extend one arm and the opposite leg to shoulder and hip height simultaneously, keeping shoulders and hips squared to the floor. Lower slowly to start, and repeat on opposite side. Front Plank: Lie on stomach, with forearms on floor and hands palm-down on either side of chest. Tuck toes, lift legs, tighten abs, and raise body to a modified push-up position, keeping forearms on the floor. Hold five seconds, then lower. Repeat three times. Work up to holding for 20 seconds each time. Half-Kneel Lift: Kneel on right knee, with left foot forward and left knee at 90-degree angle. Hold a soccer ball with both hands at right hip. Without rotating body, slowly bring ball up and across until it’s above left shoulder and slightly behind you. Return to start. Do two to three sets of eight to 12 reps on each side.

I am 18 years old girl. Day by day I am getting weak and always feeling tired. First My HB was 7.5gm then after some weeks it was 9gm. Now recently I checked it again so now it is 8gm. Eosinophilic Disorders and their Treatment

The Eosinophilic disorders are one of the major hematological diseases, which deal with the white blood cells in the human body. The Eosinophils or the white blood cells play an important role in the human body while responding to asthma, allergic reactions, and infections that are caused due to parasites. Eosinophils not only play an important role in protective immunity against parasites but also contribute a lot to inflammation which occurs during allergic disorders.

Different disorders of the Eosinophils

  1. Low count of eosinophils
  2. High count of eosinophils
  3. Idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome
  4. Disorders and their treatments

Low count of eosinophils
A low count of eosinophils in the blood usually occurs with the sepsis or the infections in the blood stream, Cushing syndrome. They are usually treated with the corticosteroids. The treatment of the lower count of eosinophils is able to restore the normal count of the eosinophils.

High count of eosinophils
The condition of the high count of the eosinophils is known as eosinophilia or hypereosinophilia. Some of the most common causes which increase the count of the eosinophils are

  1. Disorders due to allergies including asthma, atopic dermatitis, eczema and allergic rhinitis.
  2. Infections caused by parasites, mainly the ones those are known to invade the tissues.
  3. Some of the cancers cause eosinophilia like leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, and myeloproliferative disorders.

Symptoms of eosinophilia

When the count of the eosinophils increases considerably, it can not only inflame the tissues but can also cause damage to the organs. The organs that are usually affected due to this are the heart, skin, lungs and the nervous system. People may suffer from skin rashes, shortness of breath or wheezing and fatigue. One can also suffer from throat as well as stomach pain if the stomach or the esophagus gets affected.
It is generally treated with antibiotics even if no infection is detected. Doctors usually treat such conditions with the oral corticosteroids.

Idiopathic Hypereosinophilic Syndrome
In this disorder, the eosinophil count increases to more than 1500 cells/microliter of blood. It is common in the ones who have crossed 50 and usually suffers from a condition of the heart known as Loffler endocarditis which leads to heart attacks.


  1. Weight loss

  4. Fevers
  5. Weakness
  6. Stomach ache and sometimes coma

Most of the people need to treat this with the drugs of prednisone, hydroxyurea and sometimes chemotherapy drugs. Eosinophilic disorders should always be treated according to the drugs prescribed by the doctors.

I had a burn wound on my leg due to boiling water falling on it . It started healing and has almost healed but now I noticed dark spots of my skin's color on my light toned healing wounds. Is that a problem I should be worried about doctor ? I am 16 years old. Thank you.

My son is 7 years of age. Doctor told me he is suffering from asthma. Almost it is incurable. He suggested inhaler with 2 capsule (asthalin and budecort 400). How much serious is it and will it be normal at age 12 or 13? What precautions should I take as he suffers much from cold things. He became fat too.

Hi Amith., Asthma symptoms, which include coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness, are common in an asthma attack. Sometimes asthma is called bronchial asthma or reactive airway disease. Asthma can be controlled with proper treatment. Symptoms:- Common asthma symptoms include: 1.Coughing, especially at night 2.Wheezing 3.Shortness of breath 4.Chest tightness, pain, or pressure Medication:- 1.Cof X-5ml with warm water twice a day. 2.Sitopaladi churna-1/4tsp with honey daily 3-4times a day. You have to give dese medication only for 1 week by that your son will be relieve of symptoms. Dont give much of corticosteroids for kids ex Budecort which has its own side effects like weight gain n other skin allergies.

Dear you can easily gain weight by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Depression in adults is a lot different from depression in younger people. Adults have the overburdening thrust to believe they should be able to deal with any situation, however, adverse of their own accord. This pushes them to such a point that they bottle up worries and anxieties making themselves vulnerable to depression. Reaching out for help is almost a wager; lost before a fair trial. An elderly person could remain depressed due to varied reasons, but the cause is seldom remorse. Assuming the cause as sadness, it could depress your loved ones even more. 

Take a look at the following factors that can depress older adults:

1. Serious ailments like stroke, cancer, diabetes, thyroid and so on so forth.
2. The loss of a dear friend or a family member.
3. Excessive work pressure.
4. Stagnation in personal life, passions and goals. 
5. Lack of motivation to do the slightest of things. 
To prevent depression in adults the following ways should be kept in mind:

1. Interaction is the key principle: Adults might need to talk. Being a grown -up doesn't mean you don't need suggestions and advice of your friends and relatives. Try to interact with a person who you think is depressed. 
2. Try to identify medical conditions and look for reliable treatment: Medical illnesses like cancer or diabetes can take a toll on your mental strength. It can discourage you from living life with full vigor and energy. Thus medical conditions should be treated with due care and a person suffering should be encouraged to take professional psychological consultation. 
 3. Providing a person with space is mandatory: Adults hate being domineered or patronized. When they need space they should be allowed to be alone. It could help them deal with depression better. Staying alone doesn't always involve loneliness. People might need to clarify things to their own selves or might even need time to introspect.
4. Make a depressed person take care of a pet: The presence of a pet in the household can relieve its members of accumulating stress. An adult when made to take care of a pet has added responsibilities and will naturally have less scope to wallow in their own sorrow. A pet gives a person the love and affection he or she had been lacking all along.
5. Humor is a wonderful pill: Create opportunities to make a person laugh. Share jokes or make them watch funny shows.
6. Ensure the person gets enough sleep: A full night's sleep is extremely important. Insufficient relaxation can push you towards depression.

How to cure completely my head migraine? Any tablets? I am now using flunipar 10 mg. It gives me many side effects such as body pain, sleepy,no clear eye sight. So please suggest me a gud way to cure my head migraine.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Continous chronic migraine needs prophylaxis treatment for decreasing migraine attacks and remission. For management of migraine you need to follow following things. 1) avoid fasting, skipped or delayed meals, excessive chocolates or coffee. 2) Take proper sleep and timely diet Medication can be started Flunarizine Amitryptiline: sedation common side effects Topiramate: memory disturbances and risk of angle closure glaucoma and renal stone Divalproate: Weight gain You need to discuss with your treating neurologist about all these options and associated risk and side effects. Don't let more than four hours go by without eating. Eat several foods at once. Eat healthy, but dense foods. Drink your food. Eat right before bed. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day take banana milk shake. Take pranacharaya karsyatanashak capsule twice a day. Take sleep after taking meal drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee. Eat sweets.
