Hye, Thanks for the query. Basically you are underweight. You need to improve weight first. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

May be its due to the wisdom tooth. Its difficult to tell the reson now for that we naad to take the x ray. So visit the dentist.

Her periods has over on 28/05/16 then we have sex on 31/05/2016 then within 48 hrs I have her an ipill after that we again have sex on 04/06/16 and than again on 09/06/16 on 10/06/16 light bleeding has started along with with discharge there is no itching or pain and it is not over yet we have done a urine test and it is negative is this is a sign of pregnancy or vaginal infection.

vaginal infection not a sign of pregnancy.it may be due to fungus and bacteria or any harmful foreign body get enter into the vagina.advice her to keep clean and dry vaginal portion and apply anti fungal cream for itching.

Start up your meals with having soup, it decreases your consumption levels and at the end you will eat less than that you thought of. It is because soup gives a feel of tummy full. But never add butter or cream toppings to your soup if you are keenly looking to lose weight.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times

Dear, White coat hypertension is a psychological disorder. In order to treat it, check your blood pressure at home by using digital sphygmomanometer..• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.

Foods That Help You Fight The Cold

Brrrr! the season of cold winds and chilly nights is upon us. Winter has officially arrived. Along with the winter chill, this season also brings along chapped lips, a god awful flu and sudden shivers. But you don't have to surrender. Here's how to stop a cold before it takes hold.

1. Sweet potato
While sweet potatoes may not be considered a traditional cold-fighting food, they're a great source of vitamin a, which plays a key role in maintaining the health of your mucosal surfaces. This includes the inside of your nose and your gastrointestinal tract, as well as your skin. You might not think of your skin as part of your immune system but it keeps infections from entering your body. It's your first line of defense.

2. Turmeric
One of the most recent spices to be crowned a superfood, turmeric is a rich yellow powder often used in curry dishes. It's high in antioxidants and considered a natural anti-inflammatory. If you take it on a daily basis, it is known to relieve the body of toxins. It has been shown that people who consume turmeric are less susceptible to colds, coughs, and congestion.

3. Hot chocolate
Curling up with a cup of hot cocoa is one way to feel snug but adding a little dark chocolate to your diet is a great health booster too. The sweet contains flavonoids, a type of antioxidant thought to reduce the damage caused by free radicals, potential instigators of cancer and cardiovascular disease. A study in the journal of immunology research found that red blood cells were less susceptible to free radicals after people consumed a drink with flavonoid-rich cocoa.

4. Cinnamon
Cinnamon, and other spices boost your metabolism which generates body heat. Include more spices in your meals, even if they are sprinkled on top, just a little bit. Cumin, coriander, turmeric, cloves, paprika, pepper, nutmeg and allspice are other good ones to incorporate as well. The hottest spices - like cayenne - will make you sweat and actually release heat from your body.

5. Coconut oil
As they metabolize, fats, in general, can help keep you warm. Besides from eating it, coconut oil is also useful as a moisturizer. Dry, cracked skin, lets heat escape more easily and is more sensitive to cold - especially when it's windy. If you keep your skin healthy and strong, it'll be better at keeping the heat in. Before heading out into the cold, try rubbing some coconut oil on your legs, arms and face.

6. Ginger
Fresh or ground ginger is our favorite food to warm you up. Try using it in porridge, salad dressings, soups, cookies or muffins. One of our favorite ways to enjoy ginger is to put thin slices or grate some of the fresh roots into a mug of hot water. Not only does it help warm you up, but it boosts your digestive and immune systems to keep you nourished and strong in the face of any winter bugs.

Hi lybrate-user. You need to first add fiber rich foods to your diet. Eat lot of fresh fruits, salads, include flax seeds, garlic in regular routine. Foe SGPT & SGOT reduce the intake of fried foods, non veg (meat).

Your bmi is 37. 4 and you are definitely obese. You have to persist with a low carbohydrate and low fat high protein diet. Stop all cereals, sugar, bakery products and desserts. Take the white of 2 boiled eggs and lots of fruits and green vegetables and salads. If you don' t loose weight soon you will develop diabetes also. You need bariatric surgery. I am 42 years old, male, suffering from diabetic 2, recent blood test result is fasting 89.9 and aqfter food is 131.9 taking blisto 1mf each one before meals morning and night. Recently from some days suffering from tiredness and hunger so my doctor advised me to cut off tablets by 50 percent, please advice me any suggetions.

Take plain glimepiride 1 mg before breakfast. Take metformin 500 mg twice daile, before breakfast & dinner. Repeat fbs & ppbs after 2 weeks. Take small quantities of food every 3-4 hours during day. Never starve. If you exercise, do so only after taking light food.

Im having pain on my left knee since last 3 months. Am only 25 years old and am a mother a a 2 years old child. It's difficult for me to climb stairs or stand for a while even I can't sit on vehicles for long time. I feel a ball-like thing inside my knee while this pain is high. Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

The alcohol content of beer is less 5-9%, as compared to over 40% in case of whisky. The calorie count of beer is also important, as it varies from type to type. Avg is around 4-7 calories per ml. So, consume accordingly. Yes, you can take medicines with /before drinks as they are having calories.
