Hi, I appreciate you seeking help. Well, did you ever go through a urine analysis/ culture? Your symptoms may be because of a chronic bacterial infection, of the urinary tract too. As I understand, you are currently being treated with antibiotics for H. Pylori infection. For the time being, just keep your diet healthy & balanced and keep up an active lifestyle. A Mediterranean diet, with lots of deep leafy greens and seasonal fruits, can help. Also include more of fresh turmeric and tomatoes in your diet. You can take 200 ml of fresh and unsweetened cranberry juice daily. Stay well hydrated too, consume at least 8 to 10 glasses of clean & filtered water daily. Hope this helps. Do take care and all the very best. Sincerely,

HI, I have joint pain and after completing 1 year of piles operation pain start in anal. Please advise.

MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
In the majority of cases, piles resolve on their own without the need for any treatment. Treatments can help significantly reduce the discomfort and itching that many patients experience Diet - piles can be caused by too much straining when doing bowel movements, which is the result of constipation. A change in diet can help keep the stools regular and soft. This involves eating more fiber, such as fruit and vegetables, or switching your cereal breakfast to bran. Water is the best drink, and the patient may be advised to increase his/her water consumption. Some experts say too much caffeine is not good. Body weight - if the patient is obese, losing weight may help reduce the incidence and severity of hemorrhoids. Simple things you can do yourself to help prevent piles: Try not to strain when you go to the toilet Avoid laxatives Exercis take tab pilex 1tab tds, anovate cream locally inside anus, siltz bath [hot water in a tub, add kmno4 in it, sit 1/2 an hr in tub, it will help.Avoid spicy ,Drink 3- 4 Litre of Water Daily. welcome for further help.

If the creatinine rise is due to diabetic kidney disease it is not completely reversible. She will need to alter her diabetic medicines though.

Yes urine retention gives sexual excitement/ pleasure, because of its pressure on sex organs. But it is not a good habit to retain waste material in body, it may cause uti etc or some other problems in future. You must void urine whenever you feel pressure.

Hello sir my father is paralyzed and prostate problem. He is on catheter. Now he is not able to pass urine. What can I do this time. I can change the catheter or doing something else. Reply me fast. Thanks.

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine
General Physician, Delhi
Dear , first we have to identify why is he not able to pass urine. It could be due the paralysis and/or due to the prostate problem. If it is due to an enlarged prostate you could get a prostatectomy done. However if it is due to stroke then you have to change the ctaheter. Which side is he paralysed on? did he have a spinal injury or astroke if it is a stroke was it a blood clot or a bleed? can you please upload the ctscan and or mri and his ultrasound reports?
