Please check: 1) HbA1c 2) Serum insulin level (both fasting and PP) 3) OGTT (5samples) Above test will tell you whether you are diabetic or pre diabetic or normal. Slow healing may be due to either diabetes or any other causes which lower immunity.

Do not get worried about the lenght and girth of penis as the sensetive part in female organ is sensetive upto 3-5 cm, it mean that that if length after erection is achieved, then there is nothing to worry. Exercise regularly, eat healthy and balanced diet, and stay positive.

My father has diabetes and he' s taking regular pills can he switch to insulin. Which one is better pills or insulin. He is 61 years old and suffering from diabetes from the last 10 years. He is 174 cm long and weighs 72 kilograms.

MBBS, PG in Family Medicine, FDRC (2 years full time Fellowship in Diabetes)
Endocrinologist, Surat
Insulin is better, but if he is very well controlled with low dose of tablets, then we can think about tablets. His current medicines, sugar levels are needed to tell which one will be the best option.

I am 69 years old suffering with diabetes since 1993. Also bp on medication-junivia 100 once a day +diamicron xr mex500 bd+amlovas 5 /50 once a day. Sugar keep less than 200 both fbs pps. Advise on diet. Take no sugar in tea but keep rating sweet dish or toffe.

Avoid taking sweet dish or toffee. If you are getting low sugar frequently, it is needed to reduce tablet dose. Eat at frequent interval. More vegetables. Salads etc.

For diabatic person, ONE or more symptons likely to be there from flg. - frequent urine problem. - bodyache. - eye vision. - wound recovery taking time. I have not a one from above. Why it is so ? My fasting sugar is 95/105 and PP2BS is 225 after taking medicines. Tell whether to continue as it is ? Is it required to go for insulin injection ?

MBBS, PG in Family Medicine, FDRC (2 years full time Fellowship in Diabetes)
Endocrinologist, Surat
Diabetes may occur even without any evident symptoms. Medications may be enough to control sugars of PP2BS. Please consult your doctor as he may prescribe you Acarbose or voglibose which mainly controls PP sugars. Need of insulin depends on your status of Retina and kidney. Kindly get a thorough check up.

There is no improvement may mean that your blood sugars are not under control. Abdominal upset may direct restriction in the use of metformin. Please AVOID HONEY . Your Complete examination is required before starting of medicines. Continue blood thinners and anti cholesterol tablets. Get a Diabetologist consultation as early as possible
