Hello- Reduction in ejaculate during masturbation denotes exhaustion of genitals. You must be over masturbating and its frequency might have increased as the age progressed. Reduce masturbation, add zinc supplements in diet, quit smoking/alcohol, and do take 10-2 sleep daily at night, your problem will be solved.

Still, talking about sex and working on your sexual relationship can be difficult, even when you've enjoyed great intimacy. These ideas can help. ? Pick neutral territory for a conversation. To help make it easier for your partner to open up, don't approach the topic in bed. Paget advised keeping the conversation simple -- ask just a few questions so your partner doesn?t feel overwhelmed or attacked. Start by telling your partner you enjoy having sex with her and ask what you can do to help her enjoy it more. ? Ask about any stress or other concerns that might be keeping her from feeling pleasure. As experts at Harvard Medical School point out, physical desire can be enough to lead to arousal, sex, and orgasm in men, but the sexual response for women is often more complex. Her motivation for sex may be to feel close to you. If an emotional connection is lacking because of relationship concerns, mental health problems, stress, or some other reason, her desire for sex may lessen. ? Be an unselfish lover. Are you having sex in ways she wants or that keep her interested, asked Paget? Don?t focus solely on your own needs. Encourage her to tell you what feels good to her. Maybe there's something about your sex life that makes her uncomfortable or there's something she wants to try but is embarrassed to mention. Be open to what she has to say. ? Help her relax. If your partner says sex is painful, discuss ways you can help her relax before sex. Perhaps draw a warm bath for her before meeting in the bedroom. Using lubricants and trying different positions may also help. ? Let her know you find her attractive. Show her that she's desirable. Make it a point to compliment her more often -- not just during foreplay, but also at random times when you aren?t trying to initiate sex. ? Find other ways to show support. If you know that she's under a great deal of stress at work, take on some of her household responsibilities so that you can enjoy more time just being together.

Sexual dysfunction can be a result of a physical or psychological problem. Physical causes: Many physical and/or medical conditions can cause problems with sexual function. These conditions include diabetes, heart and vascular (blood vessel) disease, neurological disorders, hormonal imbalances, chronic diseases such as kidney or liver failure, and alcoholism and drug abuse. In addition, the side effects of certain medicines, including some antidepressant medication, can affect sexual desire and function. Psychological causes: These include work-related stress and anxiety, concern about sexual performance, marital or relationship problems, depression, feelings of guilt, and the effects of a past sexual trauma. Who is affected by sexual problems? Both men and women are affected by sexual problems. Sexual problems occur in adults of all ages. Among those commonly affected are those in the older population, which may be related to a decline in health associated with ageing. How do sexual problems affect men? The most common sexual problems in men are ejaculation disorders, erectile dysfunction, and inhibited sexual desire. What are ejaculation disorders? There are different types of ejaculation disorders, including: Premature ejaculation -- This refers to ejaculation that occurs before or soon after penetration. Inhibited or retarded ejaculation -- This is when ejaculation is slow to occur. Retrograde ejaculation -- This occurs when, at orgasm, the ejaculate is forced back into the bladder rather than through the urethra and out the end of the penis. In some cases, premature and inhibited ejaculation are caused by a lack of attraction for a partner, past traumatic events and psychological factors, including a strict religious background that causes the person to view sex as sinful. Premature ejaculation is often is due to nervousness over how well a man will perform during sex. Certain medications, including some anti-depressants, may affect ejaculation, as can nerve damage to the spinal cord. Retrograde ejaculation is common in males with diabetes who suffer from diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage). This is due to problems with the nerves in the bladder and the bladder neck that allow the ejaculate to flow backwards and into the bladder. In other men, retrograde ejaculation occurs after operations on the bladder neck or prostate, or after certain abdominal operations. In addition, certain medicines, particularly those used to treat mood disorders, may cause problems with ejaculation. This does not generally require treatment unless it impairs fertility What is erectile dysfunction? Also known as impotence, erectile dysfunction is defined as the inability to attain and/or maintain an erection suitable for intercourse. Causes of erectile dysfunction include diseases affecting blood flow, such as atherosclerosis (narrowing of the arteries); nerve disorders; psychological factors, such as stress, depression, and performance anxiety (nervousness over his ability to sexually perform); and injury to the penis. Chronic illness, certain medications, and a condition called Peyronie's disease (scar tissue in the penis) can also cause erectile dysfunction. What is inhibited sexual desire? Inhibited desire, or loss of libido, refers to a decrease in desire for, or interest in sexual activity. Reduced libido can result from physical or psychological factors. It has been associated with low levels of the hormone testosterone. It also may be caused by psychological problems, such as anxiety and depression; medical illnesses, such as diabetes and high blood pressure; certain medications, including some anti-depressants; and relationship difficulties. How are male sexual problems diagnosed? The doctor will most likely begin with a thorough history of symptoms. The doctor may arrange other tests to rule out any medical problems that may be contributing to the dysfunction. The doctor may refer you to other doctors, including a urologist (a doctor specialising in the urinary tract and male reproductive system), an endocrinologist (a doctor specialising in glandular disorders), a neurologist (a doctor specialising in disorders of the nervous system), sex therapists and other counsellors. What tests are used to evaluate sexual problems? Several tests can be used to evaluate the causes and extent of sexual problems. They include: Blood tests -- These tests are done to evaluate hormone levels and identify other possible underlying medical problems. Vascular assessment -- This involves an evaluation of the blood flow to the penis. A blockage in a blood vessel supplying blood to the penis may be contributing to erectile dysfunction. Sensory testing -- Particularly useful in evaluating the effects of diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage), sensory testing measures the strength of nerve impulses in a particular area of the body. Nocturnal penile tumescence and rigidity testing -- This test is used to monitor erections that occur naturally during sleep. This test can help determine if a man's erectile problems are due to physical or psychological causes. How is male sexual dysfunction treated? Many cases of sexual dysfunction can be corrected by treating the underlying physical or psychological problems. Treatment strategies may include the following: Medical treatment -- This involves treatment of any physical problem that may be contributing to a man's sexual dysfunction. Medication -- Medicines may help improve sexual function in men by increasing blood flow to the penis. Drug-containing penile injections, urethral pellets, and cream may also be used. Hormones -- Men with low levels of testosterone may benefit from hormone supplementation (testosterone replacement therapy). Psychological therapy -- Therapy with a trained counsellor can help a person address feelings of anxiety, fear or guilt that may have an impact on sexual function. Mechanical aids -- Aids such as vacuum devices and penile implants may help men with erectile dysfunction. Education and communication -- Education about sex and sexual behaviours and responses may help a man overcome his anxieties about sexual performance. Open dialogue with your partner about your needs and concerns also helps to overcome many barriers to a healthy sex life. He success of treatment for sexual dysfunction depends on the underlying cause of the problem. The outlook is good for dysfunction that is related to a treatable or reversible physical condition. Mild dysfunction that is related to stress, fear, or anxiety often can be successfully treated with counselling, education, and improved communication between partners. Can sexual problems be prevented? While sexual problems cannot always be prevented, dealing with the underlying causes of the dysfunction can help you better understand and cope with the problem when it occurs. There are some things you can do to help maintain good sexual function: Follow your doctor's treatment plan for any medical/health conditions. Limit your alcohol intake. Stop smoking. Deal with any problems with drug abuse - drugs such as cocaine can be responsible. Deal with any emotional or psychological issues such as stress, depression, and anxiety. Get treatment as needed. Increase communication with your partner.

Infertility - Causes And Treatment

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics & Gynecology, Fellowship in Infertility (IVF Specialist)
Gynaecologist, Aurangabad
Infertility - Causes And Treatment

Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after 12 months of unprotected intercourse. For women aged 35 and older, inability to conceive after 6 months is generally considered infertility. Repeated pregnancy loss (2 or more spontaneous pregnancy losses) can also be considered infertility. Recent estimates indicate infertility affects 10-15 percent of the population in their childbearing years.

If you experience recurrent pregnancy loss, or if you have not been able to become pregnant within a year (six months if the woman’s age is over 35, 2-3 months if over 40), then you may benefit from assessment and treatment by a reproductive endocrinologist - a doctor with a special interest, training and expertise in the area of infertility. It’s a state that results in the abnormal functioning of the male or female reproductive system.

The causes for infertility could be:

  1. Male factor - erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory dysfunction, problems with quality, count and quantity of semen

  2. Female factor - Tubal factor, ovulatory problems, abnormality of uterus, hormonal imbalance

  3. Antisperm antibodies

The prime symptom is very obvious i.e. unable to have baby despite of having sex without any contraceptives.

Factors affecting fertility:

  1. Age: Female fertility gradually declines in the 30s, particularly after age 35. Each month that she tries, a healthy, fertile 30-year-old woman has a 20% chance of getting pregnant.

  2. Smoking: It increases risk of getting infertile and reduces the chances of treatment.

  3. Alcohol: Consumption of alcohol is said to lower the sperm count in men.

  4. Obesity: An overweight person has a higher chances of having sperm abnormality.

  5. Workout: Less or very heavy work out is said to increase the chances of infertility.

  6. Mental Stress: Studies suggests that ovulation and sperm production may be affected by mental stress. If at least one partner is stressed it is possible that the frequency of sexual intercourse is less, resulting in a lower chance of conception.

  7. Sexually Transmitted infections can also adversely affect the fertility of a person.

When to take further advice and course of action?

In case the women trying to conceive is less than 35 years of age, then 12 months and if more than 35 years, then in 6 months itself one needs to get in touch with the Specialist/Reproductive Endocrinologist/Gynaecologist or a Urologist for a complete diagnosis.

Many cases of apparent infertility are treatable. Infertility may have a single cause in one of the partners, or it could be the result of a combination of factors in both men and women.

There are many treatments available that improve the chances of having a baby. Such treatments include:

  1. Hormones treatment

  2. Drugs for fertility

  3. Surgery in some cases

Also one the oldest form of medications such as Ayurveda as well as Homeopathy is said to have a wonderful treatment of Infertility. With the developments in medical sciences, there are lot of treatments available; however, such treatments sometimes become the victim of their own success causing multiple births – Two, Three or may be more.

Some Assisted Treatments are:

  1. Intrauterine insemination

  2. In Vitro Fertilization

  3. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection

  4. Donation of Sperm or Egg

  5. Assisted Hatching

  6. Electric or Vibratory Stimulation to achieve ejaculation

  7. Surgical Sperm Aspiration

It is important to understand the complete treatment before going ahead and be aware of the possible outcomes and be psychologically ready.

Please do not keep it to yourself and consult an expert. Never go for self medication! If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

General Physician,
My age is 24. Height 6 ft. Weight 76 kg. My testicular size is reducing day by day since 1 year. Ibhad my ultrasound ...
In healthy European adult humans, average testicular volume is 18 cm³ per testis, with normal size ranging from 12 cm³ to 30 cm³. The average testicle size after puberty measures up to around 2 inches long, 0.8 inches in breadth, and 1.2 inches in height (5 x 2 x 3 cm). This can be smaller in Indians and no need to worry. Normal testicular volume is 12 to 30 cm3, the average being 18 cm3. If you feel your testes are small or significant difference between the two testis then consult Surgeon to look for testicular, hydrocoele problems.

Dear sir I have an sexual issue. My penis is in curved shape how to do it straight and how to increase sex time.
Dear lybrate user. I can understand. PENIS CURVED towards right or left or downward is always normal and this can be seen with majority of people. This mostly happen due to masturbation. People who use right hand for masturbation, their penis will be curved to the left and the opposite with left handlers. There are other reasons too. This phenomenon is quite normal and there is nothing to worry. In fact, curved penis will give you more pleasure when you engage in vaginal intercourse than straight penis simply because curvature provides more friction. Enjoy your curve. I suggest online sex education. Take care.

It depends on whether you had sex in your safe or unsafe period. I-pill has to be taken within 72 hours of any unprotected intercourse. However that is only a emergency contraception. If you wish to have contraception for a longer time then visit a gynecologist and start a contraception of your choice. Till then to avoid pregnancy you may use barrier methods like condoms.

Why girls wanted to go for pee imideate after sex? Nd why white blood comes from vagina after 2 3 days of sex?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
It is good idea for females to empty their bladder before and after sexual intercourse because it is one way to prevent urinary tract infections (UTI). The anus is pretty darn close to the vagina. This means that fecal bacteria is also nearby, even in the cleanest of women. This situation plus sex can have an unpleasant outcome. UTI’s are usually caused by a bacteria called E. Coli which travel from her colon to the urethra and bladder. Since these three areas of her body are in close vicinity to one another, sexual intercourse facilitates the E. Coli to be transferred from the rectal area up into the urethra. Once the bacteria is situated in the urethra it multiplies, thus causing a UTI. Naturally, however any sexual activity that irritates the urethra puts pressure on the bladder, making her want to urinate. If she is having problems urinating, try drinking more water and other fluids. In order to prevent irritation to the urethra, try to avoid prolonged direct clitoral stimulation and make sure her vagina is lubricated. Rear entry positions and prolonged vigorous intercourse tends to put additional stress on her urethra. This is also why partners should not switch to vaginal intercourse right after anal sex. Emptying out your bladder before having sex flushes existing E. Coli out of your urethra. Urinating after sex prevents E. Coli from settling into female Urethera which may ultimately cause a UTI. It is not the white blood but is a natural vaginal discharge which comes out due to sexual stimulation and it is normal until and unless it is not irritating, itchy and smelly.
