I have been suffering from knee pain for the past three years. It has been diagnosed as Osteo arthritis and loss of cartilage. I have tried physiotherapy. Hydro therapy and allopathic drugs (NSAID). There has been only temporary relief and the pain returns. This is affecting my normal work life. Is there a cure in ayurveda ?

Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hello Experts, Last six months se mere both legs and both hands me pain rahta h but hands me minor and legs me jyada rahta h. This is happening very 2 or 3 days and while I start walking it goes sometimes but at the time of sitting paining is too much. Mouth me kadwahat bhi bahut hota h achanak se jiski wajah se mujhe mouth freshener Lena padta. Pls suggest.

Leg Exercise Avoid Squatting- Avoid sitting Cross legged. Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold). Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hand Exercise Hot fomentation. Gentle Stretching of Hand Muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist Exerciser.

My age is 47. I met a accident on bike 3 months back. I consulted Dr. And have taken x-ray and mri. Every thing is normal according to Dr. Still I have pain and swelling. Please advise.

Where you have pain and swelling? Why don't you ask your doctor who has declared you ok, that why you are having pain and swelling? Please go back to your doctor and ask why that swelling and pain. Then come back with detail report.

Hi you can start physiotherapy treatment to strengthen the muscles around the knee joint. Meanwhile apply cold pack for 20 minutes thrice a day for 5 days. Do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan wishing you a good health.

Several different factors can be attributed to low back pain. It could be tissue tightness, improper lifting form, too much weight or improper posture. To Relieve your back pain: Get into a good posture–have your head on top of your rib cage and rib cage on top of your pelvis. That usually will relieve some of it. Also, try squeezing your glutes, and stretching your hip flexor and hamstrings. If you have pain shooting into your glutes, shooting into one leg, or you feel numbness or tingling, these tips won’t help much

Hello, You can have the following Ayurveda medicines: 1. Yogaraj guggul - 1 tablet � 3 times after meals 2. Maharasnadi kwath - 4 tsp + 4 tsp hot water � 2 times after meals 3. Vatavidhwansa rasa - 1 tablet � 3 times before meals 4. Murivenna tailam - Massage softly with this oil. Use it warm and then do hot fomentation if there is no swelling.

You can take some muscle relaxant for temporary relief but once pain subsides do some exercise regularly to avoid future pain.

I am 23 year old female, I have been gaining weight at a very fast pace, I have gained almost 20 kgs in past 4 months, I got a thyroid test also. You should take Acupressure therapy and take Biochemic Kali phos 3x + Nat sulph 3x +Nat mur 3x+ Sillicia 12x 4 tab each thrice a day with warm water and take it 5 days
