Conditions affecting a woman’s fertility can include: Age – female fertility declines sharply after the age of 35 Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Gynaecological problems such as previous ectopic pregnancy or having had more than one miscarriage Medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, and thyroid and bowel diseases Lifestyle factors such as stress, being overweight or underweight, and smoking. Damage to the fallopian tubes Ovulatory problems Endometriosis Conditions affecting the uterus A combination of factors No identifiable reason. However, a small number of women have complications, such as: A severe infection, such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) Damage to the womb (uterus) Complications such as these can affect fertility. Also, repeated abortions can cause damage to your cervix and increase the risk of late miscarriages.

In the month of march 3×2 cm subserosa fungal fibroid was detected. Then I had my last period in april 2nd and I am 28 weeks pregnant now. My fibroid was detected to be grown as 5 cm now. My concern ia how to get rid of this fibroid? My doctor says it cannot be removed during delivery. Then how do I get this removed? What if it continues to grow? I already had twice myomectomy because of the same fibroid growth and regrowth one on 2009 and another in 2014. Pls help. There must be a limit to the number of surgeries tht can be performed to remove this.

hi Manisha, please don't worry about fibroid now, generaly fibroid will reduce in size after delivery, it wont affect your present pregnancy and mode of delivery. get an ultrasound done 3month after delivery and reassess then we discuss about treatment options.

If you r not breastfeeding then you can apply candid b ointment to the nipples as there is fungal infection and try to use bra as minimum as possible.

If you were mostly sedentary before getting pregnant, consider picking up regular walking, swimming and pregnancy yoga.

Constipation is common during pregnancy,so increase your water and other fluids intake,take a high fiber diet,lots of salads,fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grain bread. Avoid too much of Maida, rice and meat,if you are Nonvegetarian

Hi, during pregnancy these types of emotional disturbances and sleeplessness are common. Due to hormonal changes. Try to learn some yoga and meditation. Go for a walk in fresh air everyday. Try to lie down in the afternoons for two hoursSoon these things will disappear in few weeks.

For confirmed result, you better under go the urine test after 2 months, then whatever it gives is confirmed, for45 days, it gives no specfic result. So better to wait till 2 months and then go again with test. If then also, comes -ve, then its ideal to ee any gynaecologist.

Menses irregularity is may be due hormonal changes and due to nutritional deficiency. First you take nutritious diet like iron, calcium contain food. And if still problem remain then get ultra sound of lower abdomen and thyroid profile.

How Exercising Outdoors Can Be Bad for You !

Exercising outdoors is fun and refreshing in its own way. An early morning jog or doing pull ups on the goal post are fun ways of working out. Summers are usually the best time to take your workouts outside, as it decreases stress levels and revitalizes your body. It is also a good method to increase vitamin D levels in the body as the body is exposed to the sun.

In spite of this, there are some disadvantages of taking your workout outside. Let's focus on them:

1.Chances of accidents go up
It is very common to see people jogging on the road with their headphones plugged in. Incidents of joggers being hit by cars are fairly common, due to the fact that they are unable to hear the honking of a car or may change course along the road without realizing a vehicle is nearby.

2.Too much exposure to the sun
Long distance runners are mostly affected as they log plenty of miles. This can lead to ultraviolet ray exposure which increases the risk of skin cancer. It can also lead to sunburns and tanning of the skin. It is also known to suppress immune system and increase the risk of various infectious diseases.

3.Injury problems
Working outdoors increases your chances of injuries. Running on hard surfaces tends to cause damage your calf, hamstrings and thighs. It can put more stress on your knee, calf and cause various problems such as runner's knee and shin splints.

4.Difficult to find Help
If you suffer from a serious injury while exercising outside, then it may be difficult to find help. If you injure a joint and are unable to walk, then it may be a problem in getting you proper treatment. This delay in treatment may cause the injury to aggravate.

You are having some ear infection, for exact diagnosis and medication you need to consult ent specialist. Till then do not use any home remedy untill diagnosed as it may aggravate your problem.
