Mr bharat, what is the dosage? it appears that the dose is not adequate, or patient is not adhering to dietary restrictions as suggested and may not be doing any exercise at all. I would like you to furnish some more details like - weight, height, level of activity, current fasting and pp sugar levels and hba1c %. I am 38 year lady sub total thyrodictmy in nov 2015 and my tsh 14.23 taking thyronorm 150 mg shelcal ct 1-1-1 hydrazid 25 one tab daily but not control tsh and weight grain 82 kg calcium 8.0 please tell solution.

Mr. lybrate-user , If TSH is 14.23 mU/L, means hypothyroidism is not in control at all. Hence, there's a need for increasing the dose of thyroxine from present level to 175 mcg per day & then check TSH after 6 weeks to is if it is down to 3 to 4 mU/L. At that level all the symptoms will be in check. Plus efforts to reduce weight will then show results. Thanks.

Dark circles are because of lack of nutrients. Sleep and weakness. So take proper nutrients and drink plenty of juices and sleep for atleast 7 hours a day. Drink 7-8 glasses of water every day.

*घर पर हर्बल नेचुरल डाई बनाने का तरीका*। क्या आप बाल काला करने के लिए डाई या केमिकल युक्त हानिकारक कलर इस्तेमाल करते हैं। *आइये जाने इसको बनाने की विधि*। आवश्यक सामग्री। 1. सूखी पीसी मेहँदी – 20 ग्राम 2. काफी पाउडर – 3 ग्राम 3. कत्था – 3 ग्राम 4. ब्राह्मी चूर्ण – 10 ग्राम 5. आंवला चूर्ण – 10 ग्राम 6. दही – 25 ग्राम 7. नीम्बू का रस – 4 चम्मच 1 से 5 तक सभी को कूट पीस कर आपस में मिला लीजये। आवश्यकता अनुसार मिला कर रख लीजिये। बाद में ५० ग्राम मिश्रित पाउडर में २५ ग्राम दही और ४ चम्मच नीम्बू का रस मिला कर बालो में आधे घंटे तक लगा कर रखे। फिर पानी से धो लीजिये। इसके प्रयोग से बाल काले घने तथा मुलायम हो जायेंगे। विशेष – कई बार पहली बार में तुरंत काले बाल नहीं होते। तो जब आप तीन चार बार इसको नियमित करेंगे तो आपके बाल प्राकृतिक रूप से काले दिखने लगेंगे।

I met with a motorcycle accident 1 1/2 years back in which I hurt my right knee. Now for the last two months I have a slight swelling on the knee and I have shifting pain which at times is around the knee or in the muscle on the lower back side of leg.

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed .it is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1.boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2.apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

Natural tips to straighten your hair with time - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like Egg, Yougurt and Lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. For acne, take the following treatment - 1. Take 4 tablespoon of aloevera juice with one tablespoon of honey after dinner. 2. Take 4 tablespoon amla juice + 2 tablespoon honey on an empty stomach in the morning. 3. Take chandraprabhavati 2 tablets twice a day. 4. Avoid junk, bakery & spicy food. 5. Maida is very harmful for body, so avoid it. 6. Have all your meals on time. 7. Drink lots of water 8. Eat a high carbohydrate and high protein diet with adequate amount of fat. This will help you to put on muscles. Try to incorporate the following things in your diet along with having a normal diet what you have. Drink 750 ml- 1 litre whole milk or milk product everyday. Banana shake is very helpful for increasing weight and strength. Have 2-3 whole eggs daily in your diet.

CONCENTRATION TIPS Here’s some tips to get into a state of deep concentration where work / or studies flow easily so that you can do well in examinations/ and or do your work well. 1) Cut Off the Noise Getting into a state of concentration can take at least fifteen minutes. If you are getting distracted every five, you can’t possibly focus entirely on your work. Request that people don’t interrupt you when working on a big project. If you are required to answer phones and drop-in’s immediately, schedule work when the office is less busy. 2) Structure Your Environment The place you work can have an impact on your ability to focus. Try to locate yourself so you are facing potential distractions such as doors, phones or windows. This way you can take a glance to assess sounds that would otherwise break your focus. 3) Clarify Objectives Know what your goal is clearly before you start. If you aren’t sure what the end result is, the confusion will make it impossible to focus. 4) Divide Blobs. If you have a large project that needs work, clearly identify a path that you will use to get started working on it. If the sequence of actions isn’t obvious, it will be difficult to concentrate. Taking a few minutes to plan not only your end result, but the order you will complete any steps, can save hours in wasted thinking. 5) Know the Rules Get clear on what the guidelines are for the task ahead. What level of quality do you need? What standards do you need to follow? What constraints are there? If the rules aren’t clear from the outset, you will slip out of concentration as you ponder them later. 6) Set a Deadline Deadlines have both advantages and disadvantages when trying to force concentration. A deadline can make it easier to forget the non-essential and speed up your working time. If you give yourself only an hour to design a logo, you will keep it simple and avoid fiddling with extravagant designs. Time limits have disadvantages when they cause you to worry about the time you have left instead of the task itself. 7) Break down Roadblocks Roadblocks occur whenever you hit a tricky problem in your work. This can happen when you run out of ideas or your focus wavers. Break down roadblocks by brainstorming or planning on a piece of paper. Writing out your thought processes can keep you focused even if you might become frustrated. 8) Isolate Yourself Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone. 9) Healthy Body, Sharper Mind What you put into your body affects the way you concentrate. Nobody would expect peak performance if they showed up drunk to work. But if you allow yourself to get chronic sleep deprivation, overuse stimulants like caffeine or eat dense, fatty foods your concentration will suffer. Try to cut out one of your unhealthy habits for just thirty days to see if there is a difference in your energy levels. I’ve found even small steps can create dramatic changes in my ability to focus. 10) Be Patient Before I write an article, I often sit at my desk for a fifteen or twenty minutes before I put finger on the keyboard. During this time I feel a strong urge to leave or do something else. But I know that if I am patient, I’ll stumble upon an idea to write about and enter a state of flow. Without a little patience, you can’t take advantage of flow when it rushed through you. If you need strong concentration I recommend periods of 90-120 minutes. Any less than that and you will waste too much time getting started before the flow can continue. More than this is possible to sustain focus, but you will probably benefit from a quick break. These are the general guidelines for concentration, studying well or doing your job. Regards.

Hi, my brother goes to the toilet at least 3 times a day without having any diarrhea like symptoms. The stool is normal. He took a 3 day course of norflox 400, but its still the same. Sometimes it's just a small amount of feces he says and at times its normal quantity. He does not apply pressure. Should he be concerned about anything particular?

Amoebiasis and other Intestinal infections are common in our country. However drinking water and food should be hygienically treated/ prepared and consumed. For the time being pl take BAEL, Shunthi, Isabgul husk in 1:1:1 ratio - 1 tsp in curd in the morning, afternoon and with warm water at night. Report after a week if there's some improvement. Further advise after that only.

If you want to loose weight, along with exercise you should also concentrate on your diet pattern. You don't gain weight because of exercise or running but may be due to your diet. Exercise is good for body , carry on.

Dear lybrateuser, - Avoid cold fluids, have more of warm fluids, water, tea, coffee, milk, soup - do steam inhalation three times a day - take tablet Sinarest, 1tablet three times a day after meals - take syrup Chericof, 2 teaspoonful three times a day - instil 2drops of normal saline in each nostril three times a day - avoid dust & cold weather, wear mask when you move out.

Hi. There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium tcan worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Also, use Bakson’s Apricot scrub 1-2times a week on the area.

Hello, There are different types of LASER Therapies available in the market for hair removal. It beams highly concentrated light into hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorb the light. That destroys the hair. Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas. Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, and large areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour. Most patients have permanent hair loss after an average of three to seven sessions. And later in few cases, maintenance sittings are also needed in future. If you are planning on undergoing laser hair removal, you should limit plucking, waxing, and electrolysis for six weeks before treatment. That's because the laser targets the hairs' roots, which are temporarily removed by waxing or plucking. You should also avoid sun exposure for six weeks before and after treatment. Sun exposure makes laser hair removal less effective and makes complications after treatment more likely. The rate varies from place to place and area to be treated (e.g. Rs. 500/ sitting for upper lips).

Dear, these are methods and instructions to reduce cholesterol in body: * avoid butter, ghee & cream in your diet. * eat five leaves of kari patta and five leaves of neem once in a day. * avoid non veg food (chicken, eggs) because it contain high fat content. * do not eat fast food and avoid cold drink. * do running and jogging daily for 15 minutes. Start with 5 minutes then increase time period slowly. Do morning and evening walk daily. * do not drink alcohol it harmful to your liver and disturb your metabolism causes increase in cholesterol. * add kali mirch (black pepper) in your breakfast. * drink 6 to 7 glass of water daily. * take sound sleep in night of 6 to 7 hrs. Do not take stress.
