Hello. We can't change the gray hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature graying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine – Schwabe's Acid Phos. 200/ once daily and Weisbaden 200/ twice daily – all of them for 1 month. And a multivitamin - A to Z/ 1 cap. Daily once for 3 months (as deficiency of zinc, copper and selenium can also cause premature greying). Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Revert.

Hello lybrate-user, Until and unless you let me know about your present weight, height and age I won't be able to provide you with the best customised diet plan. I can say, the amount of calories to be burnt in a day should always be equal to your daily output. In our sedentary life style many a times our daily output does not compensates with our daily input (ie, food eaten). So the best way to balance it is to maintain an equilibrium between input and out put. Rest depends upon your daily physical activity, your present weight, height and age. For acne I would suggest, lessen your fat intake. When we often and/or frequently eat out or fatty food and/or fast foods, for that due to body reactions acne appears. Try cutting down fatty foods from your diet. Find out if you are allergic to any food item or not (like egg, or egg plant, etc). For dark circles, you need to relax your eyes. Get enough sleep at night (6 to 7 hrs), do not over stress your eyes by working over computers for long hours. Many a times because of food intolerance (ie, food allegy) also dark circles appear. So you can get a check up for food allergies. Thank you Have a nice day.

Mix 1 teaspoon of onion juice with an equal amount of honey. Take once a day for 1 week. Upon noticing improvement, continue for several more days. Take sarpgandha vati twice a day.

Dear Your symptoms are more likely due to severe anemia and internal poor strength. Begin a dedicated diet regime that includes dry fruit, milk, eggs, fresh fruits, lots of salads. To stop or control hair loss, increase your intake of green leafy vegetables, salad, fruits and sprouts. Include yeast, wheatgerm, soybean, whole grains and nuts in your meals. Massage the scalp gently with coconut or almond oil daily for 10 to 15 minutes.

Do let me know if you also have blackheads with pimples? and what current medications and remedies you already tried to treat acne? acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e or any self prescribed preparations on scars or pimples. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk.

If you are having regular stomach ache and not getting relief, you may have to do upper GI endoscopy after consulting gastroenterologist to find out the reason

You may have gingivitis. Get scaling done for plaque removal. Rinse your mouth with chlorhexidine mouth wash. Brush twice daily.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Thuja 200 (4 drops in little amount of water) empty stomach only one dose and after that on 2nd date start with other medicine 2. Baryta carb 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update things to do 1. Daily body stretch for 2 minutes early morning. This can be done by standing on your fingers of feets, arms joined upwards. Looking upwards while stretching years body upwards. 2. Do yoga 3. Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. 4.2 glass milk daily 5. Green leafy vegetables in diet 6. Avoid stress and anger.

Our weight should be proportionate to our height. For every given height there is a normal weight range. You must do several things correctly to gain weight. A healthy diet: this is the foundation of gaining weight. If you don't do this right, the other things you do won't be effective and could even be harmful. Follow the following tips:- · Pay attention to your health and food intake. · To increase your appetite, have a glass of lime water or 1 cardamom (elaichi) before your meal. · Have minimum 4 meals in a day. · Drink 1 glass of milk twice a day. · Try to enjoy your meals and gradually increase the quantity you eat every time. · A balance diet should have all essential nutrients in it. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It should include combination of Both Carbohydrates and Proteins for e.g. Oats with Milk or Poha/ Upma with a glass of milk. If you do not like milk have 1-2 egg whites in the morning along with your breakfast. · You need to focus on your protein intake : Increase your protein intake e.g. milk, dairy products- cheese, paneer, lentils (dals), nuts ( soya, peanuts, dry fruits ), pulses e.g. rajma, chole, kidney beans etc. sprouts. If you are a non-vegetarian, then you can have proteins by also eating eggs, chicken, fish. Make sure you are including at least 2 serving of any of these in your daily meal. · Lunch and dinner again should be a combination of Proteins, Carbohydrates and Fats which could have dal, roti, sabji/chicken, salad. · Please do have minimum 4 almonds or a small bowl of peanuts every day. · Please ensure that you drink at least 3 litres of water every day.

Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

It would be better for you to eat steam cooked or boiled food in order to prevent the risk of adding on the weight. • Make sure that you only steam cooks all your veggies and do not fry them when you are cooking. • You can also consume boiled chicken or fish every day, but make sure that you should never eat fried chicken or other meat.

4 week terbinafine course didn't work for me at all. I finished the course 2 days before yesterday The skin lesions were unaffected. Now Have taken fluconazole (200 mg) a day before yesterday and it seems to work good as the skin lesions have dried up. Should I take it on a daily basis or weekly.
