Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 1 wk, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Massage with your thumbs from the midpoints of your shoulder blade towards back of your head upto the lower edge of the ear on your either side. Use oil or water. Move only upwards only. Afterwards do arm rotation forward and backward slowly. Only you have to eliminate the bad practices if any. Further eat badami and other dry fruits. Drink milk.

After typhoid some people can develop arthralgia (joint pain) - which is due to inflammation of the joint lining due to immune reactions. you can visit an ortho or rheumatologist and get it checked.

Hello start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. Meanwhile take few precautions. 1) take hot water fomentation for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Interval. 2) do not lift heavy weights or twist your spine 3) do not wear high heals do not ignore your back pain and do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.

I am 51 years, exercise regularly, 6-11 km walk and jog, have knee pain, little. I feel slight pain in calf muscle and feel as if heat oozing out of feet base. What could be the reason? If I exercise I have normal BP if I leave exercise or miss for more than month BP increases to 140-156, 89-100. Why? I regularly have one leaf of gilloh cut and soaked in water, three times a week.

Drink plenty of water, eat cucumber and other juicy vegetables. Further take methi (fenugreek) one spoon in the empty stomach in the morning for a week. Consult me privately after 5 days.

I am 17 years old. I got my knee twisted while performing stretching exercise. I had such experience 1 year back when my knee got twisted while I was walking. I then consulted a doctor and I was fine with medicines which he gave. And now for the second time doctor said that it is hyper mobility syndrome. I am undergoing physiotherapy treatment for a week. Can I perform regular exercises like skipping stretching etc after I become alright.

follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying Kindly go for cervical X ray AP and lateral and review with reports Consult Physician for Further Management

If the pain is localised, take hot fermentation and mentain proper back posture. Avoid prolong forward bending and lifting heavy objects. Do some back exercises. Back pain starts due to improper posture of back or weakness in back muscles. Thank you.

I do have a problem in my ankle, it is not moving freely because I had a fracture few years back and then I got two surgeries but still it is not moving freely. Please recommended something.

Post surgery stiffness in joints can be due to delayed mobilisation or arthritis most of the cases can be dealt with physiotherapy if pain is also present then do an xray and show.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

hope it's been diagnosed after MRI of lower spine. if not please get an MRI of LS spine done to rule out other causes of pain in that area. Also stretch exercise and physiotherapy would help you.

Sometimes one of my leg will pain it will be once in a month.
