Hi, I am a thirty three year old working female with a sedentary life style. Earlier I used to exercise a lot but now due to my work schedule and after having a baby, I am not able to reduce my weight. My height is five fee three inches and weight is 66 kg. I would like to know what diet can I follow to reduce weight. Here I would like to mention that my working hours are such that I cant exercise. Would appreciate if you could suggest me a diet plan to reduce five to six kgs in a month or two. Thanks

Its become difficult to do exercise for our daily schedule.But, if u follow a healthy diet plan properly then you can reduce minimum 5 kg in a month without any side effect.I am giving you a general tips. Avoid outsider foods,deep fried foods,fatty foods,high caloric vegetables,salted foods. Plan according to your working schedule. Contact me.

Excessive hunger soon after eating food is a sure sign of underlying hormonal disturbance. This is a lifestyle related issue and it can be surely treated with intensive lifestyle modification program. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Avoid all junk food and all sweet food. Low fat diet does not work for majority of people. Eat wholesome nutritious food full of fibres, good quality fat like ghee and coconut etc. Don't focus on calories but on nutritional density and diversity. Simultaneously working on exercise and diet will surely help. Best rate to lose weight is 1/2 kg per week. If that happens, it is least likely to go high again in future. You do not have to do rigorous exercise to lose weight but start with something small. Let us say 8 minute workout. Go to you tube and type 8 minute workout and you will see many options. Pick one which you like and can do. Trying to lose weight in very short time will need some form of crash diet. Even if you lose weight doing this kind of crash diet, you will get it all back within no time and all the gain will be mainly fat. Not good for your health. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Demonstrate commitment in your persistent efforts. Make comprehensive change in diet, exercise, sleep and stress in your routine. This is called lifestyle medicine. If you can not do it on your own, find some expert who can help you in this over extended period of time. We even do this over long distance by phone and whats app. Best wishes.

Dear doctors, Hope you are fine and doing well. I appreciate whole heartedly the service your term offer to our society very selflessly. I am 50 year old man and l am writing this mail to get your best medical suggestion / treatment opinion for my throat /voice modulation complaint. My problem is that my throat get choked and get mild irritation whenever l talk bit loud or continuously. It is like throat gets strain. Every time l feel my voice cracks down, something like kich? kich feeling in my throat and l loose the softness in my voice. It becomes very unclear for sometime. In short l feel my throat becomes very dry which make my crack and harsh. I have to clear my throat by taking water or clearing the throat myself by closing my mouth and making mild self voice modulation process. I have been experiencing this problem since so many years. In fact, I have very good voice and many people appreciated my voice when l sing or talk on the phone. I used to lend my voice for regional language dubbing and l love singing. But this problem does not allow me to sing or do voice lending job. Is there anything serious and need treatment. Kindly suggest me how to over come from this problem. If l have to take medicine please prescribe it. Look forward to hearing from you and hope l shall over come from this problem permanently. Kindly help me.

This is common with singers and teachers due to vocal trauma. You require voice rest. Start tab. Pantop 40 mg daily empty stomach and avoid hot or spicy food. Have plenty of fluids.

Hair fall is common in everyone and it is normal if 50-100 hair strands fall per day. But hair loss happens when frequent falling of hair results in thinning of the hair in the scalp. Losing hair fast may not only be a disease but it? s also due to heredity, aging or changes in the hormones. Causes of hair loss? hairstyles: everybody wants their hair to look good by trying different kinds of hairstyles that may look stylish, but there are some hairstyles that tend to pull the hair so tightly that they cause hair fall? scalp infection: itchy scalp may be caused due to some infections like severe dandruff and ringworm, a fungus that results in red, itchy patches in the scalp and leads to hair loss? poor diet: hair loss may also be due to poor diet that misses out on vital ingredients like proteins, iron, vitamins and minerals and other micronutrients? stress: stress is a body reaction that challenges and sometimes disturbs the individual? s health. Too much of stress to the body causes the hair to fall and stop growing, which will later result in hair loss? water: we must be aware of the regular water supply in our household. It might contain chemical compounds like magnesium, copper and minerals that can harm your hair and cause hair loss? cosmetics: products that are used for straightening or coloring of the hair contain chemical compounds that can affect the hair. Even some products like hair shampoo, conditioner or serum have chemical compounds in them. Extensive usage of these can damage the hair follicles and cause hair loss? medication: medication is another problem that causes hair loss. High medication intake may result in several side effects in the body that can affect the hair roots and lead to excessive hair fall. Home remedies henna: it is a natural hair colorant and hair conditioner. Make a mixture of henna powder, one egg and a cup of curd. Mix all these ingredients well, leave it for a night and apply the henna paste on the hair the next day. Leave it on for an hour and wash with warm water. Neem: tired of your dandruff and hair fall? try neem, a natural antiseptic and anti-bacterial agent, which helps in treating the scalp and hair problem without any side effect. Boil 2 cups of water and add a handful of neem leaves in the boiling water. Leave till the water turns into greenish color. Use the neem water after the last rinse of your hair wash. This will keep your hair and scalp healthy. Aloe vera: aloe vera is a plant that contains vitamins and minerals, which is used for treating hair loss. The gel that is secreted from the plant when it is cut, can be used as a hair conditioner. Massage the gel in the hair thoroughly after taking a head bath, leave it for few hours and wash it off with warm water. Onions: onion is another home remedy that can be used to prevent hair loss. Apply the onion juice in the scalp and leave it for an hour before washing your hair. For treatment consult privately.

If you had a heart attack and having recurrent chest pain, then get an angiography and angioplasty done. If already done, repeat a 2d echo. If there is anything you will need high dose aspirin three times daily for control of post mi syndrome. See your cardiologist soon.

Follow methods by which you can gain your desired height. 1. Follow these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. Take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder with milk once a day.
