You feel very pressure in job. Any burdens in job. Please analyse. Feel job as a comfortable manner. Do not feel it is burden. Because of your thought nature. You are getting much pressure in job. Maintain very good relations in job environment. Do your work in comfortable manner. Initially it is very difficult. But practice it. Because it is not one day matter. You have continue so many years. Think always positive manner. Start your work in a positive manner. Do every assignment in a pleasing manner. Develop smile attitude middle of the work. After work completed feel relaxed. Evening better to spend with your family members. After work over evening take anything small snacks etc. Go regularly morning. When you go to office. Enjoy the natural movement. Better to observe others. How they look like confident manner. You also feel and behave like that. Because of tension you are getting pain. It is called psychosomatic problem. When we psychologically gives much stress it influences body also. So do not be always stress manner. Be happy and be friendly with others. Best of luck.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

Dear lybrate-user, you shall do calf stretching ex's like- long sitting 1. Pull your 1 ankle upwards by placing 1 towel/sheet & stretch with both hands hold for 10 count & repeat for 10 repetitions, standing- 2. Take wall/chair support & left your heels by keeping knee joint straight hold for 10 count & repeat for 10 repetitions.

As children we wait to grow up and have a strong body as endorsed by our favorite movie stars, athlete, close friends and family members. We all strongly believe that a good physique is a great ways to attract people. What we often fail to recognize is that reaping a healthy body and a good physique requires small daily inputs. There are small things which most of us can do to help our muscles remain young and strong. Read on to know more about some magical ways to look youthful.

  1. Lift those Weights: While most think of cardio workouts, not everybody turns to the weights (learn more to maintain the healthy weight). Weights are one of the best ways to maintain muscle mass. Include it as a part of your routine, do it often, and gradually increase the frequency and the weights to cover all body parts including arms, back, shoulders, chest and legs.
  2. Eat more protein: A protein-rich diet reduces the risk of muscle loss. While most people tend to just move to an all-protein diet, that is not the best way. For 1 kg of your weight, add 1.5 g of protein in your diet. For muscle building, you need about double what a normal person would need, which is about 0.8 g per kg. As a safe practice, check with your trainer and dietitian to arrive at a diet that would suit your requirements (Read more about Importance of Protein)
  3. Plan your meals: As your body needs all essential ingredients, plan your meal to ensure it covers all nutrients. From a muscle building point of view, ensure the required amount of protein is packed in all the 3 meals. It is good to spread out the protein intake through your meals rather than have one protein-loaded meal in a day.
  4. Pomegranates: These so called 'wonder fruits' contain a molecule which reduces the effects of ageing in the muscles. There are even pomegranate extracts which are believed to provide the same benefits, so the season is not a problem.
  5. Get some sun: While it is definitely not advisable to sun bath daily, getting a good amount of sun on a daily basis is very good for both the mind and the body. Sunlight, which is the main source of vitamin D, can reduce muscle weakness. It is also essential for calcium absorption, which is essential for muscle and bone health. Reduced amounts of vitamin D have been shown to lead to muscle wasting. A good idea is to walk or run out in the sun instead of in the gym. You get the benefits of both the sun and the workout, leaving you rejuvenated.

Try these simple tricks and see your muscle take time to lose their firmness and strength.

Try some remedies for joint pain: -ice packs can be used to soothe hot, swollen joints. -heat packs help to relax tense, tired muscles. -splinting of swollen or painful joints may be helpful, a physiotherapist or an occupational therapist (ot) may provide temporary splints for you. -pace yourself: overdoing things can increase your pain, but so can not doing enough. Your physiotherapist can advise you on increasing your activity level at a rate you can cope with and on finding the right balance between rest and activity. -take regular graded exercise: graded exercise starts slowly and increases in small steps. This will help you to strengthen your muscles and joints and increase your fitness. Improving your general fitness and stamina will help you to increase your activity level without increasing your pain. -mobilising, stretching and strengthening: your physiotherapist will assess your muscle strength and the range of movement in your joints, and advise on techniques and exercises so you can keep your joints working as well as possible. If you are confirmed about above mentioned test and diagnosis then I would like to suggest you first educate yourself about this condition and disease. It is very much important to understand about this condition. Without knowing it you can not understand remedial part of it. Next you need to be in regulor touch with rheumatologist physiotherapist and occupational therapist for treatment of it. Do regular ROM exercise of all joints and specially little bit more on left hip joint as u mentioned. May be there will be need of orthopaedics too later in life. Maintain your activity of daily living skills, breathing exercises, walk in rising sun time etc etc take nutrious diet too as dietician will suggest you

Hello sir my mother aged 65 had a knee replacement of both sides 1 year ago, before 3-4 months she has pain in the left knee, after taking the tests and xray the local doctors advice us to go for surgery as there is bacterial infection and looseting of metal part. What is your advice thanks

Hi, preventive measures for backache include: 1) maintain a healthy weight. 2) keep your sitting posture correct/straight. Do not slouch 3) avoid bending from back while lifting something from ground, instead bend at your knees. 4) hot fomentation to lower back or the painful part. 5) keep the coir side of your mattress up to give your back firm support and change the mattress if it is curved. 6) wear comfortable footwear with shock absorbing soles in shoes. In case above measures do not help, take rhus. Tox-30, 2 drops in 1 tsp water thrice a day for a week and revert back: now-a-days most backaches are due to vitamin d deficiency. Sit in sun and expose the long bones and back to sunrays. Also drink 2 glasses of milk daily.

Following medicines of ayurveda classics are used for cervical spodylosis and backache:

Ekangavira rasa, pravala pisti, brihat vata chintamani ras, svarna-maksika bhasma, trayodasanga guggulu, chandra-prabha vati, pidantaka rasa. The vehicle (anupana) is honey. As given in my tips earlier, harsingar/ parijat (night jasmine) leaves decoction used with these will miraculously relieve and cure the patient barring acute prolapse conditions for which surgery is indicated. But surgery of spine should be got done in extreme necessity only by experts.

As everybody knows that such diseases are technically pain management techniques but medicinally, in allopathy, only some pain killers are given to get instant relief. Alternatively, above ayurveda medicines balance the vata vitiation. When used with other pain management support techniques, patient comes out of chaos very soon.

Get your calcium and vitamin d checked. Add dairy products and leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits in your diet. Make daily routine of exercise.

Hello Dr. I am having too much pain in my runner knee coz I start running in morning from last week.
Hii As you have started running suddenly, the knee has begun to hurt. Its always advisable to start running slowly and then progress even more slowly over weeks. It takes time to achieve desired results. Do not increase the workload all of a sudden. Also, it is very important to do a proper warm up and stretches before starting your running. Cool down period after exercise is also very helpful in preventing pain. To know more about warm up and stretches you can consult me privately. You can meet a physio directly to have a detailed evaluation of your flexibility, strength etc. However its good that you have started running, keep going but slow and steady. Good luck.
