What does OCT say? Is there an improvement? You need oct before every injection. Sometimes you may need many more injections. Retinal surgeon will decide on it.

After cataract operation my husband has heaviness/drowsiness in the head/eyes esp. In the evenings. He is a very nervous person and after the operation he has become worse. Does not want to go anywhere, impatient in a traffic and wants to return back. He has to do the second eye operation. Soon but looking to his condition I feel apprehensive.

I had operation on my lower side of right eye. Doctor told calazia sist. But after 3 days I am not completely cure. When I will join my office and work properly. Now if I read something water comes from eye. Is it curable properly?

A chalazion is a cyst due to accumulated secretions from the glands of the eyelids. Hot compresses with a wet towel might help along with antibiotic and antiinflammatory medicines. However, if it does not reduce in size, you might need surgical intervention.

Sir. My eye side is week. What medicine. I should take to recover it. please tell me all about it.
Hello, you should take the below medication and do these exercises to strengthen the ocular muscles. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

I am facing eyes problem. My eyes are daily red. I am using so many companies eye drops are using but no use. please tel me.

I am facing eyes problem. My eyes are daily red. I am using so many companies eye drops are using but no use. please ...
Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1) allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2) infectious conjunctivitis: this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3) foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles (more common with people working in the iron industry) the solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist at the clinic. (4) raised intraocular pressure: this is a condition known as glaucoma. It is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral (occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5) inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as" uveitis" it is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. (6) increased blood pressure. This has known to cause redness which is also known as sub-conjunctival hemorrhage. In this regard, a complete ophthalmic evaluation and a systemic evaluation is warranted. From the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. You could also use a lubricant eye drop along with an anti-histamine eye drop. (3-4 times daily) hope my suggestions helped you. Take care, regards.

My job demands 12 hrs of computer usage on day to day basis. I have computer syndrome. My eyes pain a lot someone. I don't feel like watching anything then. Hence, I have decided to go for good AR coated glasses. Also coating which can filter blue rays. I check with crizal lenses. It has crizal prevention. But this is very costly. Hence, I want to check is it worth spending so much or there is alternative in local brands? Some facts: Also in year 2011 I have gone through lasik for correction.

My job demands 12 hrs of computer usage on day to day basis. I have computer syndrome. My eyes pain a lot someone. I ...
U have 2 choices to go for blue filteration- one is in your glasses, the other in your screen or PC- The computer apps/software should be free. High computer usage causes eye strain and back (spine) related issues. Proper care and attention can completely avoid them. This information is readily available online as Computer vision syndrome. Digital eye strain or computer ergonomics. For eyes, follow 20-20-20 rule and Palming. It means that after every 20 minutes of screen time, for 20 seconds look beyond a distance of 20 feet. Palming is part of yoga- rub your clean hands to warm them and gently cup your eyes. With a history of LASIK. It will be wise to use a good lubricating eye drop 3-4 times daily.

I have allergies, And my eyes are affected the most they are puffy, Red and itchy what can I do please sey.
Hello. I think you have allergic conjunctivitis. 1. Eye allergies, called allergic conjunctivitis, are a common condition that occurs when the eyes react to something that irritates them (called an allergen). 2.The eyes produce a substance called histamine to fight off the allergen. As a result, the eyelids and conjunctiva (the thin, filmy membrane that covers the inside of your eyelids) become red, swollen and itchy, with tearing and burning. The key to treating eye allergies is a. Avoid or limit contact with the substance causing the problem. b. Avoid rubbing eyes instead do cold compresses. Use antiallergic eyedrop along with lubricating eyedrop. This will help you I am very sorry dear to say that there is no medicine that can cure allergy. Only way is to stay away from all those things that you are allergic to.

Hello, Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. My daughter is 17 years old she has -5 sight in her right eye and 2.75 in left eye. Is it safe?
Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses. Get your vision tested and wear glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 17 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik after age of 18 yrs.
