No fever is not a symptom for pregnancy. Go for urine pregnancy test if period doesn't come on due date.

Go for antenatal checkup n confirm cause of pain. Sometime it is due to stretching of uterus n fir that she just have to lie down for few minutes.

Take frequent sips of plain milk avoid oily spicy food take frequent small meals n can take antacid like digene.

If you are having periods after every 40 days it means regular cycle but prolonged. No need of doing anything. N for pain you can take some antispasmodics.
