Follow the given medication as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic causticum 30 at early morning daily before brushing teeth 2) 5 drops of homoeopathic conium mac 30 before going to bath daily. 3) 5 drops of homoeopathic baryta carb 30 just one hour before dinner daily. 4) homoeopathic mother tincture sabal serrulata q, 30 drops, twice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. Along with the aforesaid medication few changes in your lifestyle are also necessary. Lifestyle alterations to address the symptoms include decreasing fluid intake before bedtime, moderating the consumption of alcohol and caffeine-containing products, and following a timed voiding schedule. Also it would be better if you could void the urine in sitting position.

I'm 26 years male. From some time i'm feel frequent urination. Please suggest me a medicines.

Dear , 1. Get urine examination when you have frequent urination. If pus cells are more then 5 then it is infection and treat it with antibiotics for at least 15 days. 2. Then get sonography done with full bladder volume, bladder wall thickness on full bladder and post void residual urine to confirm or rule out urinary causes. 3. If these tests are normal one has to consider anal fissure due to passage of hard faeces. If so treat constipation and various measures.

Dear lybrate-user. Renal stones less than 5 mm have tendency to pass out naturally. You don't need to any medicine for that. And small stones that are not obstructing urine flow from kidney do not cause renal failure. Just have plenty of fluids and don't waste your precious money on unnecessary treatment.

I was suffering from fissure for 3-4 months. It was painful only during the initial phase of passing the stool. Due to changes in food and after taking homeo medicines it got cured in 3 weeks but then after a week due to hard stool, I found lot of blood in the stool. I realized that it is because the piles got broken. I started using pilex ointment (used for 5 days) and stopped using that when I felt that I got cured. I started taking non veg and suddenly still got hardened and found blood stains on the stool. I started using pilex again. I pain is not severe. I would like to know if this can be completely cured using non surgical treatments. Pls suggest me the medicines with daily dosage. My pain is not severe but I want to get cured completely. Pls help.

20-Year-Old Indians Experiencing Kidney Failure! 4 Killer Reasons.

DNB (Nephrology), MD, MBBS
Nephrologist, Delhi
20-Year-Old Indians Experiencing Kidney Failure! 4 Killer Reasons.

Kidney failure is happening even to 20-year-old Indians now! 4 Reasons why.

Usually more common in the elderly as a consequence of the chronic kidney disease, kidney failure is now increasingly becoming common amongst 20-somethings in the country.

Why?
Mainly because of their unhealthy lifestyle habits, they are falling prey to a disease that normally strikes later on in life.

Kidney failure, also known as renal failure, occurs when the kidneys stop functioning properly, that is, they are unable to filter out waste and toxins efficiently from the body. It is the most severe stage of chronic kidney disease. To ensure that toxins don't build up in the body, treatment usually involves dialysis (process for removing excess fluid and waste from the blood) or kidney transplant, among others. It is said that about 1 million people all over the world are on dialysis or are surviving on transplanted kidneys. The condition is permanent and can occur either very suddenly or slowly over time.

These frightening habits of the young are leading to the rise of the incidence of renal failure:

1. A sedentary lifestyle - A research conducted by the University of Utah School of Medicine suggests that if you spend 80 minutes a day sitting, you see a 20% increase in the risk of developing chronic kidney disease and, in turn, renal failure.Sedentary behaviour can also increase your risk of diabetes, hypertension as well as obesity (causes of chronic kidney disease).India is said to have about 60% of patients who suffer from hypertension and diabetes also suffer from kidney problem.

2. Poor eating habits - Studies suggest that the right diet consisting of fruits legumes, nuts, and whole grains can help in preventing kidney disease. On the other hand, a diet that is high in processed meats; salt and sugar can worsen the vicious cycle of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and kidney disease. Furthermore, a BMI of over 30 can increase your risk of developing common kidney ailments by two-fold. With the proliferation of fast food outlets and junk food due to lack of time, Indians are increasingly now at a risk.

3. Smoking - Smoking brings about a decrease in blood flow to the kidneys, rendering the organs inefficient. When you smoke, the arteries of your body harden and the blood vessels become narrow, leading to a worsening of conditions like high blood pressure. A study by the John Hopkins University says that smoking can increase your chances of developing kidney disease by about 60%. Many young Indians view smoking as fashionable and some even take it up to 'look cool', to beat stress or just to blend in with their peers.

4. Drinking alcohol - Excessive alcohol consumption can bring about significant changes to the way your kidneys may function. Your kidneys end up becoming less efficient at removing alcohol from the blood due to regular drinking. Additionally, more than 2 drinks a day has been found to significantly increase your risk of high blood pressure, a common cause of kidney disease.

The natural remedies for kidney stones: 1. Drinking enough water and plenty of hydrating fluids (like herbal tea, water or fruit-infused water) is even more important if you have a sodium-heavy diet. While fluid intake varies depending on your size, diet, location and how much you work out, try to drink about 1 glass every hour. 2. Fresh foods that promote healthy kidney function include bananas, leafy greens of all kinds (and fresh-squeezed veggie juice), sprouted legumes, sprouted grains, fish and small amounts of pasture-raised poultry. 3. Vitamin E-rich foods — Berries, olive oil, almonds, avocado and squash are a few of the best sources of antioxidant vitamin E, which helps balance levels of oxalates and other toxins in the body. 4. Alkaline foods — foods that are acidic in nature and help balance the body’s pH level, like lemon or apple cider vinegar, can help the body pass kidney stones. 5. Magnesium and potassium-rich foods — Consuming plenty of magnesium and potassium can help balance calcium levels in the body, so include lots of leafy green veggies, cruciferous veggies, melon, bananas and avocado in your diet. On the other hand, here are some foods that can contribute to kidney stone symptoms: 1. Sugary foods 2. Regular unsprouted grains or refined grains — Most grain products (including flour and products like cereal, bread, rolls, cake, etc.) contribute to kidney stones because they have high levels of anti nutrients, including phytic acid. 3. Foods naturally high in oxalic acid — While all fruits and vegetables generally offer a variety of electrolytes and nutrients, some that can increase oxalate buildup in people prone to kidney stones include: spinach, tomatoes, eggplant, beets, celery, grapefruit/grapefruit juice, sweet potatoes, peanuts, almonds, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, parsley and cocoa. 4. Processed meats and cold cuts — Processed meat can cause the body to excrete calcium, which means more is sent to the kidneys where it can build up and form stones. 5. Caffeine and alcohol — Both are dehydrating and can be difficult to digest, which can make kidney stones worse.

Hi The colour of urine was changed due to antibiotics and it is a normal thing, you don't need to panic about it. You can continue taking the antibiotics as prescribed as leaving it in mid of treatment creates resistance towards the particular antibiotic. After two three days when the treatment is over the colour of urine will become normal but if it continues to be the same then you can consult your physician else there is no need to worry. I hope it resolved your query or you can contact me again.
