Take high fiber low fat diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Ask me privately for customized diet plan for you.

To lose weight we need to focus upon some basic food plan like cutting down on grains and sugar. This helps immediately. Avoid processed food. The healthy weight loss diet should contain ample amount of vegetable with sufficient protein. Taking some dietary supplements helps in weight loss as well. Sample diet plan:- a) breakfast - russian salad with boiled eggs. B) lunch - cooked vegetable + 1 chapatti brownXatta +salad +curd. C) snacks - dry fruits and nuts with green tea or lemonade. D) dinner - paneer tikka or chicken tikka with green chutney Suggested supplements:- a) microfruit and cytofresh tablets daily after breakfast b) lipolyzer tummy tablet after lunch and dinner. C) lipolyzer hips and thigh tab after lunch.

hello sir, take high fiber diet take curd, butter milk, lemon water with luke warm water, coconut water,green leafy veg, luke warm water before and after meals luke warm water with Apple cider vinegar early morning empty stomach, plenty of fruits,plenty of fluids.have small and frequent meals .do stretching exercise alternates days and brisk walk daily.don't skip your breakfast specially and meals.

Since last I am gaining weight without any reason. Please help me suggest me a way to lose it.
Weight increases due to minimal physical work and eating processed carb rich food. We keep on eating certain foods thinking they are not unhealthy. But they are actually unhealthy, like - white sugar, refined flour (maida) & oil. When we cook something or even eat a biscuit, it contains either or all three of these hidden unhealthy foods. Eating 1 biscuit gives calories more than you can burn in a 30 mins walk. But we do not think much before eating these foods. Most of our packed and home made snack foods are culprit for weight increase. Replace these with natural foods like fruits, salad and nuts.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Maintaining body weight is not a one time effort that you try, succeed or fail or drop the actions that take you there. You are what you eat. Your weight is nothing but a balance of how much you eat and how much you burn or exercise. Understanding this art of balance will make it easy to maintain your body weight. Walking, swimming, strength training as well as eating are all calorie burning processes. Along with this if you eat sensibly; then you will see the scales move. There is no short cut to losing weight. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce your main meals by a small amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called fad, crash diets, medicines, pills or supplements will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, lose that fat not muscle mass.

Dear lybrate-user Fruits and vegetables will help you to reduce toxins from the body but as you have Kidney problem so you need to avoid seedy fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, pulses like- Red Kidney bean (rajma), Chick peas (chhole). Take protein diet as per your doctor's advice.

Dear, you can easily get fitness and health by following simple and very important tips: * take a diet rich with proteins carbs, vitamins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with fruits. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. * in morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. * for proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. * avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. * do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. * avoid smoking & alcohol drinking completly. * for boosting memory, take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder daily once a day. I assure you that you definitely get fitness by applying these tips and lifestyle. Be healthy.

My age is 52 yrs. In 2011, when I was 48 I underwent CABG wherein 6 graftings were done. Presently, I am taking Ecosprin 150mg. Atorvastatin 10mg. Telma 20 mg and Cardivas 3.125mg (twice daily). My concern is that I am losing muscle mass. My waist size has reduced from 34 inches to 32 inches I am losing flesh from legs, arms and hips. There has been no significant loss in weight which is more or less constant in all these four years. Every time I visit my cardiologist for follow up visit which is normally every six months, I raise this issue but he assures that there is no need of worry and this may be due to strict diet and morning walk. He assures that this loss of muscle mass will settle down on its own. I consulted other physicians also who also said that it is due to intake of statins. My LFT, Lipid Profile, BSF, BSPP, Thyroid Profile, Kidney profile reports are normal. I have seen so many people who underwent CABG but none of them have become so skinny. They look healthy as before. Please advise what could be reason for this. I would also like to mention here that this loss of muscle mass started much before I underwent CABG, may be from the age of 46 yrs.

Please immediately visit an ent surgeon for complete examination to find out exact cause. If it is because of wax it can be removed. If there is fluid collection behind eardrum it could be treated accordingly. If it is because of nerve problem it has to be treated immediately otherwise it may not recover.

A normal balanced diet is all that the body requires along with exercise and proper sleep. Have seasonal fruits and vegetables every day which can provide natural vitamins and minerals.
