I am a 30 year old lady and a mother of two small children. I have severe body pain, swelling in feet, ankles and legs. I also experience shortness of breath sometimes, i. E I feel like Iam out of oxygen for a moment. I have done tests for Thyroid, rheumatoid arthritis, creatine and all results are negative. My hemoglobin level is 10.3. Iam feeling dizzy and tired always. I feel pain of the body when I rest. Otherwise I do not feel the pain In at all. Kindly advise what to do next?

Your problem could be due to anemia 1.Take good nourishing diet like milk, egg, fish, mutton, chicken, fresh green leafy vegetables,tomato, fruits like apple,dry fruits like khajoor,kismiss soybean, Pulses, paneer, cheese etc 2.Drink plenty of water, 3.Take adequate rest, 4.Avoid physical and mental exertion. 5.Take Haem up syrup 3 tsf twice daily before food 6. Get your urine examined for Albumin to exclude Kidney problem 7. If problem persists take ECG, ECHO and consult cardiologist 8.consult me for further advice

I have eye site since 15 years onwards (right eye 3.0 & left 3.25), every year checking my eyes and using spectacles as per doctors suggest. Now I am struggling with headache. When ever I speak louder, immediately I feel headache. Some times this headache will gone after sleeping but some times I have to take tablets. Kindly suggest for this my problem.

Hello, take homoeo-medicines*** @ coffea cruda- 4 drops 1 hr before going to sleep @ nux vom 30-4 drops, thrice a day. @spigelia 200-4 drops, thrice a day. * take, plenty of water to eliminate toxins. * take easily digestible diet in time, avoiding junk food. * go, for meditation for 30 mnts to reduce your stress & anxiety to ease your headache report your progress in a wk take care.

Dear Lybrate user Do muscle streching exercise for legs & back with best advice of physiotherapist only. Take hot formentation. I wud like to suggest you one more thing that you must try to reduce your body weight. Over weight causes so many problems regarding to health as bad effects on viceral organs ,hypertension, diabetes,backache and joint pain, etc. Some dietary changes as add high fiber diet &juicy fresh fruits, fluids intake. Avoid spicy & junk food. Try to add in routein walking morning or evening start from fifteen min. Then progressivly increase day by day.

You should consult a chest physician or pulmonologist. He will examine you get some test done like an x ray, some blood tests etc and then we can advise some treatment.

Although you have provided a limited information regarding your leg pain in your age but I will try to figure out few important reasons for leg pains ------------------------- 1. Muscular cramps due to many reasons and the major one is dehydration due to drinking less water during the day-------- 2. Leg bone pains due to exhaustion due to vitamin-d deficiency----- 3. Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Do share investigation reports if you have any.

Hello Sir I am 50 years old woman my weight is 50 kg. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis since last one year. As written on prescription OA knee. Doc wrote me rejoint and Vit D3 for three months. Which I had regularly. My knee pain is not very severe though. Kindly advice me If I need to take rejoint and vit D3 regularly or should I stop it after using it for three months? If your vit D level is within n normal limit then no need to take more supplements, so get the blood test repeated for the same and keep vit D level normal by sitting in sunlight for 10-15 min everyday, take milk, egg yolks, mushrooms. Besides that you should be doing knee strengthening exercise everyday after consulting a physiotherapist. Also omega 3 is good for joints. Can take fish, avocado,nuts for that.

Nothing much to worry. You have not mentioned her age and does she have pain in other joints or body parts. And since how long she is feeling that pain. Sometimes the simple cause could be the footwear we are using. Ask her to start wearing Dr. Comfort sole chappals which we can easily buy from the market. Even at home she should wear this. STop wearing flat chappals. And secondly she can start doing footsoak in lukewarm water with a bit of rock salt before going to bed. It will overall relax her nerves and she will feel better.

Getting up late in morning, no will to excise regularly because of muscle sprain frequently, too allergic to even things like sweating, pain in back of eyes, frequent headaches, never physically active though try to be, pain in shoulders and joins, had pox for 3 times at childhood in 3 years. What are these symptoms leads to? I feel relieved with paracetamol when prescribed by doctor for any illness. Feel much relieved in brain and muscles. I don't use medicines much unless it is required. Am I need medication or natural remedies are possible?

Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. Well, your symptoms including lethargy & fatigue could be owing to many reasons which needs to be evaluated before recommending anything in specific. Nevertheless, you can try the following in general, and see if it helps - (a) Have a balanced diet with more of leafy greens, and fresh fruits & nuts. Consume fruits/ vegetables rich in vitamin A & C and include more of fresh turmeric in diet on a day to day basis. Among vegetables, onion, garlic, bitter gourd, carrot, beetroot, spinach etc all are to be included too. 'Amla' fruit helps improve immunity and protects against infections. (b) Restrict flesh intake to more of fish and lean meat, and less of red meat, if any. If you are a pure vegetarian, you may take omega-3 fatty acids, 1 cap thrice daily, post meals, for a month. (c) Stay well hydrated - take at least 8 - 10 glasses of clean filtered water daily. (d) Streamline your occupation, reduce stress at work/ occupational stress and stay relaxed. Do yoga and meditate for 15 - 20 minutes daily. 'Yogasanas' & breath control exercises including 'Anulom Vilom' 'Bramari. & 'Savasana' could be helpful. (e) Try exercising daily for at least 30 minutes, walking being the safest. Should the above-mentioned not help still, it is advisable that you consult an ENT specialist who can clinically examine you to ascertain if you have sinusitis. I had a lower back injury since last 6 months for which I have been doing exercises told by physio but them it's been almost 6 months now the pain is vanishing very slowly slow than I expected and sometimes I feel a pinched sensation and little pain still sometimes maybe because of my daily activities is there anything to be worried will it cure automatically by resting and exercises or there might be some serious issue as sometimes the pain is still there towards left side from the center of lower back please help thanks I got the x ray done but the ortho said only to take rest and gave me an ointment to apply on back but it's been 6 months and pain is still there though little but there.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
