Pain In Fingers - Can It Be A Sign of Tendinitis?

Tendinitis is a discomfort of the tendon. It results in pain outside the joint. There are many tendons in the body, but this condition is mainly witnessed in wrists, heels, shoulders and elbows. Some frequently used names for different kinds of tendinitis includes pitcher’s shoulder, tennis elbow, jumper’s knee, golfer’s elbow and swimmer’s shoulder.

Symptoms of tendinitis:
Symptoms of tendinitis are witnessed at the point of contact between bone and the muscle. Some of the visible signs of tendinitis are tenderness, swelling and a dull ache while moving the affected joint. Even constant pain can be felt in some cases.

What are the causes of tendinitis?
Tendinitis is frequently observed among sportsmen and athletes. If a job involves repetitive motion of a particular joint, the stress on the tendons can result in tendinitis. It is therefore very important for sportsmen to use the right technique in order to refrain from tendon related problems. Sudden accidents can also result in an injury to the tendon.

Risk factor of tendinitis:
Risk factors for this condition include job, occupation, and sports. As a person gets older, tendons tend to lose their flexibility which can lead to an injury of the tendon. If the job of a person involves frequent reaching of the overhead, vibration, repetitive motion and forceful exertion, he might face an injury to the tendon resulting in tendinitis. Last but not the least, tendinitis is very common among players who are involved in sports such as basketball, tennis, golf, baseball, running , cricket and bowling.

What are the complications involved?
Tendinitis can aggravate to tendon rupture of proper treatment is not done on time. Tendon rupture needs a surgical procedure to fix. If tendon pain lasts for few weeks at stretch, there is a good chance that the condition has turned into tendinitis.

Diagnosis:
Diagnosis of tendinitis can be done with the physical exam itself. A doctor might want to look at an X-ray scan to negate other condition that might be causing the pain.

Treatment:
Treatment includes the prescription of pain relievers, such as ibuprofen and aspirin. Tropical creams can also be prescribed to relieve the pain. Doctors often suggest corticosteroids be injected along the tendon in order to relieve tendinitis. If the condition is not very serious, a doctor might suggest specific exercise such as eccentric strengthening to fix the condition.

If the condition is severe, the doctor might want to go for a surgical procedure to fix tendinitis. Especially in conditions where there is a tear in the tendon and the bone. Another invasive technique to treat tendinitis is the focused aspiration of scar tissue. This procedure is performed under anesthesia thereby causing less pain to the patient. I have dessication of discs at L5-S1 and due to herniation of discs there is lot of pain in left side of leg mainly in leftvbuttock and below hoto knee. And partial loss of sensation on 3rd and 4th fingers on left foot. Due to this slipped discs I am facing lot of discomfort mainly in last 2 months. The sciatic pain was mild earlier fir past 8 months and now it is too much. Do I need to undergo surgery, are there alternate options available?

You have already started having neurological sensory deficiency. This is a dangerous condition and can progress into paralysis. Surgery to relieve the pressure from the nerves is strongly recommended. Once the nerves are dead there is no coming back from it even with surgery.

Multiple Joint Pain - Treatment Options For It!

Pain in two or more joints in the body is known as multiple joint pain. Pain may occur either when a joint moves or when it is at rest. Sometimes, the pain might stem from the muscles, ligaments, or tendons. Examples of such conditions include tendinitis and bursitis.

Arthritis may be associated with the pelvis or spine joints. Different disorders affect different joints and the causes and treatment options vary accordingly. There are some disorders which affect the same joint on both the sides of the body, such as both hands and the knees. In certain disorders, the pain resulting from arthritis keeps on moving from one joint to another (migratory arthritis).

Causes:

  1. Most of the time, the root cause is arthritis. However, the reasons which cause arthritis are different from each other, in the way:

    • The types of joints involved.

    • The number of joints involved.

    • Whether the central area of the skeleton is involved or not.

    • Whether it is chronic arthritis (longstanding) or acute arthritis (sudden).

  2. Acute arthritis which affects multiple joints can be due to:

  3. Chronic arthritis causing pain in multiple joints is most commonly due to:

The most common joint disorders are:

  1. Fibromyalgia (widespread tenderness and pain in the muscles)

  2. Bursitis (inflammation of the joint cushions) or tendinitis (inflammation of the tissues which connect the bone to the muscle)

  3. Polymyalgia rheumatica (stiffness and muscle pain, primarily in the shoulders)

Warning Signs Include:

  1. Swelling and redness of the joints.

  2. Fever, chills or sweat.

  3. Chest pain or severe cough.

  4. Abdominal pain.

Treatment Methods:

  1. Drugs and medications are needed to treat autoimmune disorders. The autoimmune response of the immune system is suppressed with the help of these drugs. These medications include immunosuppressive medications, pain relievers and anti-inflammatory medicines.

  2. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) help in reducing inflammation.

  3. A sling or splint bag immobilizes the joint, which relieves the pain.

  4. The application of heat with a heating pad will lessen the pain to a great extent.

  5. Cold application with ice cubes wrapped in a cloth will provide relief.

रात में आपकी बार-बार नींद टूटती है? कितनी ही देर बिस्तर पर लेट लें, सपनों की दुनिया में खोने का चांस नहीं मिलता। और अगर नींद आ भी जाए, तो यह गहरी नहीं होती। अगर इन सभी बातों का जवाब"हां" है, तो आपको स्लीप सिंड्रोम की प्रॉब्लम है।
93 फीसदी लोग नींद न आने से परेशान
एक सर्वे के मुताबिक, इंडिया में 93 फीसदी लोग नींद न आने की प्रॉब्लम से परेशान हैं और 58 फीसदी लोगों के रुटीन पर नींद पूरी न होने का इफेक्ट सीधा पड़ता है।'नींद दो तरह की होती है। गहरी नींद यानी नॉन पिड आई मूवमेंट स्लीप और कच्ची नींद, जिसे सपनों वाली नींद भी कहते हैं। अगर नॉन पिड आई मूवमेंट स्लीप 5 घंटे की भी आ जाए, तो बॉडी रिलैक्स हो जाती है, लेकिन कच्ची नींद भले ही 8 घंटे की हो, वह बॉडी को रिलैक्स नहीं करती है। आमतौर पर नींद न आने की वजह होती हैं टेंशन और डिप्रेशन।' इसके अलावा, लाइफस्टाइल और बॉडी पेन भी नींद न आने की वजह बनता है। अवेयरनेस न होने से लोग इसे मामूली चीज समझते हैं और डॉक्टर से कॉन्टैक्ट नहीं करते। दरअसल, सही तरह से नींद न आना कई बीमारियों की वजह बन सकती है।
जब मन किया, तब सो गए
सोने का समय फिक्स नहीं रखते। कभी 10 तो कभी 11, जब मन किया, सो गए। इसके अलावा, रात को प्रॉपर नींद न आने की एक खास वजह दिन में लंबे समय तक सोना भी है। यह तय है कि अगर आप दिन में कई घंटे सो जाएंगे, तो रात को प्रॉपर नींद कतई नहीं आने वाली। अगर दिन में सोना ही है, तो 20 मिनट काफी हैं।
देर रात टीवी देखना
सोते समय टीवी देखना अवॉइड करें, क्योंकि टीवी पर चल रहे प्रोग्राम्स का काफी असर आपकी नींद पर पड़ता है। बजाय इसके अगर आप सोने से पहले 15 से 20 मिनट बुक रीडिंग की आदत डाल लेंगे, तो आपको अच्छी नींद आएगी। सोने जाने से पहले टीवी पर कोई हॉरर प्रोग्राम या सेड सीन देखने से भी नींद उड़ जाती है।
हैवी स्टमक
अगर आप भी सोने से पहले एक कप कॉफी या चाय पीने के शौकीन हैं, तो अब इससे तौबा करें। दरअसल, कैफीन नींद को लाने की जगह भगा देती है। अगर आप रात को हैवी मील लेते हैं और वो भी ठीक सोने से पहले, तो तय है कि आप अपने लिए बिन बुलाई आफत ला रहे हैं। हैवी स्टमक रहने से आप तो रातभर अनईजी रहेंगे ही, साथ ही आपके डाइजेस्ट सिस्टम को भी एक्स्ट्रा काम करना पड़ेगा।
हैवी वर्कआउट
हैवी वर्कआउट भी नींद न आने की वजह बनता है। रोजाना आधा घंटे की एक्सरसाइज ही काफी है। इससे आपके मसल्स व जॉइंट्स का वर्कआउट होगा और आपको अच्छी नींद आएगी। सोने से पहले गर्म पानी से नहाएं। दरअसल, हॉट बॉथ टेंशन देने वाली मसल्स को रिलैक्स करता है।
हेक्टिक शेड्यूल
कई बार अपने हेक्टिक शेड्यूल के चलते भी आपको प्रोपर नींद नहीं आ पाती। बार- बार ध्यान उन चीजों की तरफ जाता है, जो आपकी पेंडिंग होती हैं। सुबह उठकर टीवी और कंप्यूटर में बैठने के बजाय रीडिंग और मेडिटेशन करें। यह आपमें कामों को लेकर एकाग्रता लाएगा। ऐसी सिचुएशन में बेडरूम का टेंपरेचर भी कूल होना जरूरी है।
मैरिड लाइफ की प्रॉब्लम्स
एक खुश मैरिज लाइफ रुटीन में आने वाली कई प्रॉब्लम्स को खत्म कर देती हैं। लेकिन अगर यह उलझनों से भरी है, तो आपको नींद नहीं आएगी। इसके अलावा, अगर बच्चा छोटा है, तो वह रात को कई बार उठता है, जिससे नींद बार- बार खुलती है। धीरे- धीरे यह आदत में आ जाता है, जो नींद पूरी न होने की वजह बनता है।
मेडिकल इश्यू
कई बार हेल्थ प्रॉब्लम्स के चलते भी आप अनिंद्रा के शिकार हो जाते हैं। थ्रोट इन्फेक्शन, हार्ट प्रॉब्लम्स, किसी वजह से दर्द और सर्दी-जुकाम जैसी प्रॉब्लम्स के चलते भी लंग्स में प्रोपर हवा पास नहीं हो पाती, जिससे बार- बार नींद टूटती है।
उम्र की वजह से
अगर आपकी उम्र 50 से 60 साल के बीच है, तो आपकी नींद बच्चे की तरह नहीं हो सकती। इस उम्र में नींद कच्ची होती है और कई बार खुलती है। इसलिए यह सोचकर परेशान न हों कि आपको नींद नहीं आती।
दवा से बचें
नींद के लिए नींद की गोलियाँ लेने से बचें और नेचुरली अच्छी नींद के लिए प्रयास करें.

I can't sleep at night. But I feel sleepiness. I touch at 11 PM at home. Some days I take a dinner. But someday I feel no hunger. I can I hard work or any exorcise .I am pure vegetarian. And I take light calories dishes I wake up 10 am in morning then I take heavy breakfast. Then in afternoon I lunch at 4.30 PM. After lunch I take bed rest 1 hour last month ichech my blood pressure. Last month my blood pressure Was 139.

Your improper daily routine is the culprit behind your lack of sleep. Your eating and sleep wake up pattern is not correct. You should first maintain your sleep-wake timings. You should sleep at appropriate time and get up early in the morning. You can have a lavish breakfast which should be full of nutritions but should not be heavy like fatty, oily, fried food. Your lunch should be around 1 pm-2 pm. You can have small meals.in between. Its very necessary to maintain your blood pressure. Exercise daily.

To get proper sleep first of all made a1) sleep-wake up schedule and stick to it strictly. 2)exercise daily 3) remain stress free 4) your dinner should be 2 hours before your sleep time and a walk of 5-7 min will surely helps 5) sleep ambience should be quiet and cozy 6) do meditation 7) reading before sleeping will also help. 8)abstain yourself from laptop and mobile phones at sleeping time.
