Dear, These are some instructions & methods for good sleep: • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep. You can also do foot massage daily it destress you. * Eat food with a bowl of curd and after that off the light and go to sleep because after eating meal our brain become relax and sleep comes. • Drink a glass of milk at night daily. * Avoid the excess use of laptop and phone during night . They also cause sleeplessness. • Do not take caffeine, tea & alcohol in excess and these are stimulant,(activate) your brain result in lack of sleep. • Avoid drinking alcohol & smoking. • Do not take stress. Resting at night plays an important role in regulating your daily health and your level of energy throughout a day. Also, not only the quantity but the quality of sleep is also important for a healthy lifestyle. Bedtime habits do play a vital role in shaping up your lifestyle and personality as a whole. Here are many lifestyle habits that can help you to get sound sleep. 1. Make regular and a fixed sleep pattern: Going to sleep and waking up the same time every day helps to maintain an equilibrium in the sleep-wake cycle called diurnal rhythm. If this balance is maintained, then your body will be accustomed to this pattern and as a result, you will feel less tired and fresh throughout the day 2. Maintain a definite dietary regulation: You should also maintain a proper diet plan and observe the consequences/effects of the foods that you are eating and the fluids that you are drinking on your sleep pattern. Taking a good and properly nutritious diet on a daily basis will help you to stay healthy and help your natural sleep-wake cycle. 3. Ensure that your room has mild or dim lighting or darkness if you prefer: The level of light also matters at the time of your sleep. You should definitely make sure that there is a very minimal level of light or darkness around you when you try to sleep. This should be done because the lesser is the light, the more comfortable you are while sleeping. Additionally, the sleep that you will get in a dark room will also be sound and undistorted as it helps keep all the sensory organs calm. 4). Do some relaxing activities before bedtime: Depending on your choice, you should follow simple techniques of relaxation in order to calm down the brain before sleep. Like mediation, Yoga or- deep breathing exercise, muscle relaxing activity, visualizing a peaceful setting/ scenario like a calm garden or beach or mountain area. These activities are just guidelines and you can do anything that helps you to get a relaxing mood and sleep. 5). Avoid daytime naps if you can , But Having short naps of less than one hour is absolutely okay if you are excessively tired during the day or you did not have a sound sleep the previous night. But, if you are consistently having long naps during the day then you are bound to have sleep issues during the night. So it is advisable to sleep early and wake up early for a healthy schedule. 6) Regular exercise: Exercising regularly helps to improve the overall quality of sleep by making you tired at night and sending you to bed more efficiently. Light to mild exercises also helps cure sleep disorders like insomnia.

Tip- I will suggest you to take a shower with warm water or just wash your face, forearms, legs with soap and water at bedtime for a peaceful sleep.

avoid tea, coffee, cola in late evening and after, avoid day time sleep. take early dinner. avoid stress. inform if not ok.take 8 hours of sleep is ok. 10 pm to 6 am is good timing.

4 months before while I was running right leg sole got a pain suddenly. Initially 1 week I had difficulty in walking but then walking was ok. My problem is pain still continues. What may be the reason.

dear lybrate user its l pertinent to mention,without making any realistic diagnostic modalities like mri scan of foot,no one can confirm its absolutely any condition,whatever and who so ever stated.you can provisionally make a gross mapping there too. intially start with some rest and mediccal management as advise by someone,if not helped then proceed with proper investigation like mri -to ruled out any tear or injury to ligament or muscle or any cartilage etc just going with common saying in such chronic cases may debilited your performance

I have continuous muscle soreness in my right shoulder on lateral part. Its not painful but it makes me uncomfortable. I weight train 4 times a week and I want to continue.

Dear lybrate-user, gentle massage over the affected part with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oil for 20 minutes followed by hot fomentation. It will relax the muscles and the veins of your affected part improving the blood supply to the organ and giving strength to it. Please avoid over-use of the part affected i. E. Lifting weight - pushing or pulling heavy objects. Give proper rest to the part - let it heal with the time. This will greatly help. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking.

Give details about your headche . One sided headache can be due to migraine or due to visual problem too. Give a detailed description of your headache. Some tips to avoid are Avoid watching television for long hours at a stretch . Take breaks in between. Maintain regular sleep wake pattern even on holidays. Avoid alcohol/ smoking/ excess caffeine containing foods.

Hello, I am giving you some tips for sound sleep and early awaking in morning kindly follow advises given below: 1. Strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga 4. Avoid tea coffee after 7 pm 5. You can take bath at bed time 6. Avoid day time sleep 7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes consult physician if symptoms persist of worsen.
