HiMy baby is diagnosed before birth for having Long QT, but after birth her pulse rate was recorded fine every time. She is born of 20 October 2015, not even a month old now, so had only three checkups as of now. Doctors are asking to get EKG/ECG done for make sure if She has Long QT or not. What do you suggest?

HiMy baby is diagnosed before birth for having Long QT, but after birth her pulse rate was recorded fine every time. ...
Long qt syndrome is a congenital disorder characterized by a prolongation of the qt interval on electrocardiograms and a propensity to ventricular tachyarrhythmias, which may lead to syncope, cardiac arrest, or sudden death. For this it is best to see a good pediatric cardiologist. Don't worry. Ecg is a harmless procedure and it is essential for diagnosis.

My son age is 4 years old he does not take meal and not interested in any food someone given me advice to use ayurvedic medicine charak" mallon" is this better for his health.

Hi Mr. Lybrate-user it is normal for the children of this age (<5yrs) to be fussy. If his weight and height is normal for his age and is healthy then it should not be a concern. Also don't force him and don't give frequent feed as he will not be hungry. Let him play and make him as for food and slowly make it a habit by food at appropriate time.

Baby boy 3.5 months old had his 3rd DTaP vaccine yesterday. Previous 2 doses were painless ones. Baby didn't get fever at all. Is it okay? Does it mean that the Baby is not producing enough antibodies to fight? Please clarify my doubt! Thank you.

Painless are called so because the painful (for mothers) side effects like fever irritability swelling are less. They are efficacious but now painful are recommended because they produce better immunity. But nothing to worry.

Hello there, I would suggest giving him honey. 1 tsf every 8 hrly. Additionally use normal saline nasal drops frequently for clearing of his nasal secretions. Increase liquid intake.
