10000- 30000 persons are dying due to air pollution/year.

In reference to my last question. I am 26. Had sex on 14th August and my period is due on 18th August. I have 28 days and regular cycle. Now I am really confused. Some doctors are telling chances of pregnancy are by and large. Some are saying there is no chance at all. Please suggest me accurate answers. I am really worried.

Hello- severe pain during the periods is due to the contraction of underlying muscles of uterus. It can be minimized to a negligible extent by following these tips. Keep your bowel clear before the periods. You can use laxatives if you want. Eat a veg easy to digest diet before periods. Don't indulge in heavy exercises or physical activities before menses. Reduce your stress level by meditation so that the pain receptors remain silent. Use a hot water fomentation at abdomen during first two days of menses.

Both medical and surgical abortion would be safe at this time, but go to a certified clinic or hospital for the same so there is no problem for future.

Breastfeeding, suppresses menstruation at least for a while. For some mothers, there may be an absence of menstruation for weeks, months, and even years while still breastfeeding. Some mothers will even need to completely wean before they see their first period. Others, once their babies begin taking supplemental foods or sleeping longer periods at night, will see the first period. Once menstruation returns it may continue to be irregular during lactation. It's not uncommon to have a shorter or longer than normal period while breastfeeding. It's also not abnormal to skip a period or see the first period return and then find that months pass before the next one. When the first period returns depends upon several factors: 1. how frequently the baby is nursing, 2. how often the baby is supplemented with bottles, 3. how long the baby is sleeping at night, 4. whether or not solids have been introduced, and 5. the mother's own individual body chemistry and the way it responds to hormonal influences associated with breastfeeding. 6. Any time the stimulation to the breast is decreased, especially at night, menstruation is likely to return soon after. So in nutshell you experienced menses for first 2 months because of decreaed breast stimulation due to infrequent mothers feed to baby. But after that you must have started regularily Breast feeding your baby ,and this leads to stoppage of menses.

Not at all. In general periods cycle is 21-25 days which is normal. But it varies from person to person depending on the secretion n functioning of hormones. But absolutely nothing wrong with your cycle, if its regular even for 3 wks also. N without any flow in b/w.

Hello, It is better to get a serum beta hcg test done to rule out pregnancy first and if negative then the burning can be due to vaginitis.

Health Benefit Of Almonds

Good for your brain: Almonds are a source of many nutrients which help in the development and health of the human brain. Almonds have been connected to a higher intellectual level and they have long been considered an essential food item for growing children. Almonds also contain two vital brain nutrients, riboflavin, and L-carnitine, which have been shown to increase brain activity, resulting in new neural pathways and a decreased occurrence of Alzheimer's disease.
Regulation of cholesterol: Regular consumption of almonds helps to increase the level of high-density lipoproteins (HDL) and they reduce the level of low-density lipoproteins (LDL). This balance is vital to a healthy cholesterol level, and a reduction of LDL (bad cholesterol) is always a good thing.

Bone Health: Almonds are a fantastic source of many vitamins and minerals, and phosphorous is definitely counted among them! Phosphorous can have a considerable impact on the strength and durability of bones and teeth while also preventing the onset of age-related conditions like osteoporosis.

Copper t or ocp will be the best suitable ones. You can take 21 day pills if you are compliant at taking medicine and if not you can get a copper t inserted. It gives protection for almost 10 yrs and you can get back fertility as soon as you remove it.

The early abortion method is not suitable for everyone and there are certain factors that mean you are not eligible for treatment this way. These factors are: If you are 35 year old or over and smoke 10 or more cigarettes each day If it is thought that you have an ectopic pregnancy If you have a past medical history of heart disease, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease If you are taking long term anti corticosteroids (taken for arthritis) If you have an IUD (contraceptive device) which will not be removed If you have adrenal failure If you have any hemorrhagic disease or porphyria or are taking anti-coagulants If you have inflammatory bowel disease which is poorly controlled. Medical abortion is typically considered a failure when a surgical procedure is performed to complete the abortion for any reason, including incomplete abortion, continuing (viable) pregnancy, hemorrhage, or patient request. (1) (2) Failure is a well-known complication of medical abortion. Medical abortion protocols emphasize the importance of counseling women about the risk of failure. Medical abortion failure requiring a surgical procedure can include: Heavy Bleeding/Hemorrhage and Anemia (especially with ongoing blood loss) (See BLEEDING) Incomplete Abortion (unresponsive to drug treatment) Persistent Gestational Sac (GS) without cardiac activity Profuse Bleeding due to blood clots or pregnancy tissue fragments Continuing (ongoing) pregnancy/True drug and method failure Orthostatic hypotension (extreme drop in blood pressure) Patient unable to return to clinic; no access to emergency services Patient preference to complete the procedure because she is tired of persistent bleeding Provider choice or error interventions Medically necessary interventions or threats to patients’ health Failures, defined as cases requiring surgical procedure for medical reasons or because the patient requested it, the abortion was incomplete, or the pregnancy was ongoing, increases with longer durations of pregnancy. Women must be informed to return for a clinical examination in cases of acute or prolonged bleeding, pain or fever, as these signs may be indicators of failure or other complications that need treatment.

Pcod or polycystic ovary disease is one of the most common hormonal disorders faced by women today. The trigger for pcod varies from person to person, and can range from poor diet and stress to fluctuating insulin and hormonal disturbances. Pcod patients have an enlarged ovary with a number of small follicular cysts. If you or a loved one has pcod, here are a few things you should know.

Acknowledge the symptoms

Pcod is hard to diagnose. Some of its symptoms are irregular periods, high insulin levels, abnormal hair growth, low thyroid, acne, obesity and high blood pressure. Checkups at regular intervals are needed to confirm a pcod.

A change in lifestyle is the best form of medication

Medication for pcod addresses its symptoms. For example, you could take medication to correct insulin resistance or pills to control acne and hair growth. However, a lifestyle change in the form of a well balanced diet and regular exercise is essential for pcod patients. In terms of diet, pcod sufferers should have lesser carbohydrates and sugars, and increased amounts of fiber and protein. Exercise helps control weight and the balance between male and female hormones. Pcod patients also need to find ways to lower their stress levels. Yoga and meditation can be very helpful to this effect. Without this, no medication will be effective.

If left untreated pcod can lead to many other problems

Diagnosing pcod is difficult and even when diagnosed, regular checkups are essential for pcod. When left unchecked, pcod can lead to many more problems such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and even endometrial cancer. Pcod can also result in difficulties at the time of conception and lead to miscarriages if not treated properly.

You can have a baby even if you have pcod

A pcod diagnosis can make it hard to get pregnant, but does not limit your ability to conceive a healthy baby. If the patient has fertility problems because of pcod, doctors often prescribe treatments to stimulate the ovaries into producing more eggs. Women with pcod are often recommended to plan an early pregnancy, as advancing age adds to the limited capacity of the ovaries.

Lastly, know that you aren't alone and pcod should not embarrass you. Instead of bottling up your feelings and thoughts, find supportive friends and family members that you can talk to. You can also find support online through a number of discussion forums.
