painless holes are more likely to be cancerous, so dont delay and immediately consult a surgen and take a biopsy of the tissue and see. All the best

5 Effective Natural Cures for a Sore Throat

5 Effective Natural Cures for a Sore Throat
5 Most Useful Natural Cures for a Sore Throat

Inflammation of the pharynx, the tube that connects back of the mouth to the esophagus results in Sore Throat. Caused by bacterial, viral or fungal infections, allergies or irritants like smoke, pollution or dry air, or sometimes even acid reflux from the stomach via the esophagus, sore throat can be very uncomfortable and painful. If accompanied by fever or swollen tonsils causing blockage of the throat, doctor’s intervention is required, but otherwise you can try these natural remedies to get rid of that downright miserable feeling of Sore Throat:

1. Pain Relief Potion: Take a glass of warm water and add a teaspoon each of lime juice, apple cider vinegar and honey. Sip it slowly few times a day to get relief from pain.

2. Spicy mix for Total Relief: Drink this spicy tea everyday for a week and get rid of Sore Throat. Add 2 pinch each of cinnamon & black pepper powder to a glass of warm water and drink it. The black pepper relieves pain while cinnamon reduces the production of mucus & eases breathing.

3. Potent pomegranate: Pomegranates can help to reduce the swelling in your throat since they contain astringents that help in contracting tissues. Besides they have anti oxidants that fight infection. Just peel a pomegranate and boil its rind in two glasses of water for 15-20 minutes. Drink this tea to get relief.

4. Beneficial Licorice Root: Licorice has anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties that help to reduce irritation and swelling of the throat. Take a one inch piece of licorice root and boil in 1 cup of water till reduced to half. Use it to gargle, do it 1-2 times a day to get fast relief.
Salt in warm water gargles are also an all time remedy for Sore throat. You can alternate with Licorice gargles, do it once or twice to ease pain.

5. Power of Turmeric: Add ½ tsp of Turmeric powder to a teaspoon of honey and make a paste. Lick it completely before sleeping but make sure not to drink water after that. You will get rid of your sore throat within three days.

Hi Sir, My throat is constantly congested. No infection, cold or fever. I am taking rekool 10 mg. Earlier, I was taking rekool L 25. This constant throat congestion is not going. It's preventing me from singing (my profession). Please suggest some medicine to clear my throat.

1.Space out your singing engagements or long rehearsals to have at least one day between. 2.Don't clear your throat with that grating of vocal folds against each other. Instead, drink plenty of water to thin mucus, which is a natural lubricant for vocal folds. You needn't clear all mucus off the vocal folds in order to sing. With good breathing technique, you can sing through the phlegm, and no one farther away than 3 feet (0.9 m) will hear it, though you hear it rattle inside your head. 3.Don't whisper to preserve your voice. Whispering is actually worse than shouting. 4.Stop smoking (or don't start). 5.Avoid using the glottal stop in your speech and singing. 6.If allergies plague you, consider allergy testing or adjusting your diet or environment to alleviate them. Many people respond to milk by an increase in mucus production. If you know you are singing in the afternoon, it may be worthwhile to use almond milk in the morning instead of real dairy. 7.When laughing, don't let sound continue on the inhale. 8.If you do singing, get the volume for your voice to carry in a healthy way. If you can't get that volume without yelling and straining, your voice is probably not really mature enough to do singing that is unaided by mikes. Exercises for Centering the Breath 1Jelly Belly: Put your hand on your belly at navel level to monitor movements. When breathing, you ideally should let the gut drop, relaxed like a big, fat, jelly belly. Though the belly is lower than the diaphragm, letting organs hang out for the breath makes more room for it to descend and gives you a feeling of relaxation and energy. Blow air out. Each time you breathe, let the dropping of the gut create the vacuum that sucks air in for you. You do not have to suck in air, just open up and let it come in. Check shoulders to see that they are hanging naturally back and relaxed, not jerking upwards during breathing. 2Puffing P's: With hand still monitoring belly movement, try some explosive p sounds, letting the p come from the belly area. As you "p-", the abdomen should naturally press itself inward with the puff of air. 3Panting Dog: Keeping in mind the low feel for your breathing source, open your mouth, let your tongue hang out, and keeping everything relaxed in jaw and throat, do puffs of air from your ab, training yourself to think low in the body and keep the throat uninvolved in the process of air intake. Hi, take tab. Dolo 650 mg 1-1-1 after food for 1-2 days. Keep recording your temparature. If it is too high, do tepid sponging. Wear loose cotton garments. Drink plenty of fluids. Consume light and easily digestable food. Drink boiled and cooled water. Do salt water gorgling. Avoid sweets, oil fried food, curds and buttermilk. Consult a doctor if you don't feel better in a day or two.
