Please consult a nearby dentist as you are suffering from pericoronitis, also start warm saline gargles and take antibiotic and analgesic cover prescribed by your dentist. Also try to keep that area clean as much as possible.

I have mouth ulcers (two) inside my mouth near tonsils from two days. I have been smoking from one year. Are they related? Because when I spit there was blood in sputum. I tried spitting again but there was no blood. Is it mouth cancer?

BDS
Dentist, Mumbai
Ni it may not. Smoking do sometime results into cancerous lesion but you seems to be safe see your dental surgeon for examination and treatment.

My teeth were fine until my dentist filled them I went for wisdom tooth pain. She said you have three superficial cavities you should fill them I got them filled. Still had very sensitive teeth and throbbing pain so I went to her again she said you have two more cavities one is minor superficial that's causing pain n sensitivity and one is in wisdom tooth I got them filled too but still some of teeth are sensitive. I'm confuse what to do now what seems to be the problem. Acc to the dentist none of my cavities was deep.

Hi if your teeth are still sensitive, and you are certain of the area involved, you need to see the dentist again. There might be decay between the teeth that is often difficult to detect and maybe overlooked, esp. When other more obvious lesions are present. A more detailed examination necessitated by persistent symptoms after such symptoms might well lead to the detection of such problems. You also have the option of a second opinion. Often, a different person might be able to look at your problem more objectively, and, maybe locate the issue. In the meantime, you can use any desensitizing toothpaste 2 to 3 times a day to help with the symptoms.

Hello, visit a dentist and get it checked. Get an x-ray done. If there is a cavity, get it filled. If there is infection to the tooth, get it treated.

Dentist has advised me to go for permanent teeth instead of temporary teeth I am not able select type of teeth for fixture I want to know the difference between CERAMIC, CAD Cam Ceramic and bruxer (monolith teeth) which one is safe and can you tell me some other types.

See there are different kinds of permanent teeth available in the market of dentistry Basic is full metal Cobalt Chromium steel material this is basically a full coverage steel crown for the teeth it is very strong and gives a steely look for the wearer particularly I suggest it to heavy non-veg users and old persons only. Secondly there is ceramic which is basically a coating of ceramic over the steel crown ceramic coating will be 1.5 mm thick so it would roughly last you for 10 years in normal wear and tear conditions. Third variant is CAD CAM ceramic which is nothing but ceramic crown prepared by CAD CAM computerised machine so it offers better fit and look for the patient Fourth variant is Zirconia i.e, Bruzir, 3m Lava crowns it is solid zirconia crown which is again prepared by milling solid zirconia block by CAD CAM machine it offers superior esthetics and strength for the crown since it doesnot contain any metal it is esthetically better while you smile and it is the best in terms of biocompatibility with the gingival tissues So I leave it to you to decide which crown you want to go Pricing varies for different crowns in different cities I would like to give you rough rates according to IDA from 1500 for metal crown to 10000 per crown for zirconia.

Causing gum...
Hello, bleeding gums could be because of deposits on teeth surface or food lodged in between teeth. Visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done. Brush your teeth twice daily. Night brushing is very important. Floss regularly. Rinse after every meal. Visit dentist every 6 months.

Hi, you can take soft food today. As filling material will set you can eat normal food. Avoid eating too hard food.
