Hi doctor. For last one week I have suffering from severe back pain on my right lower abdomen and bloating of stomach too. Met an homeopathy doctor since I take only homeopathy medicine. She had give me kali c200 and carbo v 200 thrice day. But the pain retained as it is. I self assumed could it be anything related to my kidneys. After some research on google I came across banana stem juice. So last 3 days I started consuming it once in the morning and ragi ball with liquid curry. Felt some relaxation. To confirm today I did go for diagnosis and my prediction happen to be true. Its found that on the right renal a 4 mm calculus in the lower pole calyx followed by a left ovarian cyst haemorrhagic. 12 years ago I was operated with a chocolate cyst on both the sides. Is this very serious. Worried please help.

Hello I am a 24 years old female a couple months ago I was having chest pains and I felt so weird inside I felt like I was going to die but a couple days and it went away I brushed it off at as bad heart burn then just a couple of days ago it came back but I do not feel like i'm going to die. The chest pains come and go, they feel sharp like someone is poking me with a needle sometimes they start on the right side then move over to the left and the middle. On top of that I get tingly feelings in my left arm as if it fell asleep and also there is pain in my upper back it feels sharp as well. Along with headaches that come and go in different parts of my head. Sometimes I think it's my anxiety, then sometimes I slouch and when I sit up straight I don't feel chest pain and sometimes when I yell my chest starts to hurt. This pain comes and goes, its bearable but unusual for me does it seem serious?

As you have stated your symptoms in detail. It can be gas/acidity or cervical spondylosis or anaemia or muscle spasm or as mentioned anxiety /stress etc. Now to differentiate I further need details. Also get your thyroid profile, CBC blood sugar fasting, an x-ray of cervical spines done from some lab. In the meanwhile follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat-in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9. Drink lot of water.10. Everyday preferably sleep on same time Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, swimming, gym etc.For more details, you can consult me.

Migraine may be due to over stress and the other changes in the body will be due to the overweight. Try to have more activities to your body. Go for walking and lifestyle modification. Follow some diet plan. Go for physiotherapy or any fitness management. Do some stretches as below •standing hamstring stretch: place the heel of your injured leg on a stool about 15 inches high. Keep your knee straight. Lean forward, bending at the hips until you feel a mild stretch in the back of your thigh. Make sure you do not roll your shoulders and bend at the waist when doing this or you will stretch your lower back instead of your leg. Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •cat and camel: get down on your hands and knees. Let your stomach sag, allowing your back to curve downward. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Then arch your back and hold for 5 seconds. Do 3 sets of 10. •quadruped arm/leg raise: get down on your hands and knees. Tighten your abdominal muscles to stiffen your spine. While keeping your abdominals tight, raise one arm and the opposite leg away from you. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Lower your arm and leg slowly and alternate sides. Do this 10 times on each side pelvic tilt: lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your abdominal muscles and push your lower back into the floor. Hold this position for 5 seconds, then relax. Do 3 sets of 10. •partial curl: lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your stomach muscles. Tuck your chin to your chest. With your hands stretched out in front of you, curl your upper body forward until your shoulders clear the floor. Hold this position for 3 seconds. Don't hold your breath. It helps to breathe out as you lift your shoulders up. Relax. Repeat 10 times. Build to 3 sets of 10. To challenge yourself, clasp your hands behind your head and keep your elbows out to the side. •gluteal stretch: lying on your back with both knees bent, rest the ankle of one leg over the knee of your other leg. Grasp the thigh of the bottom leg and pull that knee toward your chest. You will feel a stretch along the buttocks and possibly along the outside of your hip on the top leg. Hold this for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •extension exercise: lie face down on the floor for 5 minutes. If this hurts too much, lie face down with a pillow under your stomach. This should relieve your leg or back pain. When you can lie on your stomach for 5 minutes without a pillow, then you can continue with the rest of this exercise. As arthritis is very common that you get generally bilaterally. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. You can take ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages alon g with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. You can take ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason the knee goes for genu recurvatum which is nothing but backward bowing of legs. This can be prevented by wearing knee brace to support the knee from going backwards while you walk or climb stairs. Check with your haemoglobin levels and also with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation. We also advise you to use knee cap which would help to prevent the knee from damaging further and also to maintain the quadriceps muscle tone. Stiffness might have developed due to weakness of the ligaments & inflammed cartilage. Specific knee exercises will also help ie. Keeping ball underneath the knee and keep pressing it. That's the simple exercise which will help you to strengthen the knee.

1. Do saline gargles daily. 2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected. 4. Drink hot liquids --hot liquids relieve nasal congestion, prevent dehydration, and soothe the uncomfortably inflamed membranes that line your nose and throat. 5. Sleep with an extra pillow under your head-- elevating your head will help relieve congested nasal passages. If the angle is too awkward, try placing the pillows between the mattress and the box springs to create a more gradual slope. 6. Treat that stuffy nose with warm salt water-- salt-water rinsing helps break nasal congestion, while also removing virus particles and bacteria from your nose. 7. Blow your nose often (and the right way)-- it's important to blow your nose regularly when you have a cold rather than sniffling mucus back into your head. But when you blow hard, pressure can carry germ-carrying phlegm back into your ear passages, causing earache. The best way to blow your nose: press a finger over one nostril while you blow gently to clear the other. Homeopathic treatment has very encouraging results. Consult online for details.

Hi. I am from kolkata. I do not know how to start. Maybe i'm too young for my issue. Some say it's not possible to love truly in teenage. But this happened to me in my 10th. So I fell in love with a girl of my class and we we're in a relation. People think no one can fall in true love at that age. But in this case it was someone different. Yes I was in true love. Yes but we never sacrificed our studies. Our relation was not so smooth going. So we had a bad ending of our relation. The friends she had were very different. She got indulged in drinking smoking and stuffs. And I asked her not to do it. And I even said her that it was not the right friends she was around with. She made a big scene of it. She said bad about me  to anyone and everyone. I was hugely disrespected. That was the first time I was disrespected as this. Since they incident I can't trust anyone else. It's been 3 years of that incident I couldn't move on. This has been highly hampering my studies as well. I can not talk to my parents about it. But im sure they have guessed it. The girl has moved on. I haven't .i have a complex that im really out of shape. But she is beautiful. She's just been fine. Rather better. I have been hearing about her sometimes about the things she does with her boy friend now and what else. I don't know whether its really i'm not over it or its just my ego. Or im too possessive. Yes. But I can't forget that disrespect which i've been through. This affects my lifestyle these days. My career my thoughts everything. I don't have many good friends or family as well. I just have my mom and dad. The others who were close to me have gone already. Dead.so I have that phobia of losing any more loved ones as well. And I can understand that the girl was a mistake. I understand it .but I don't know where it hurts and why is it hurting so much again again. And what i've been hearing about that girl lately is related to my own close friends only. That's where it's hurting more. I'm not good looking but she is. Im totally out of shape now. I weigh 95 kg .i want to reduce my wait but I stop. I lack that will power and motivation so much. I'm somewhere jealous as well that she is happy and i'm not. Im not of a boy like her. Drinking always. Smoking always. Going out in night clubs late nights anything such. I'm a very simple middle class boy with a small family. That's it. I ovethink. Mostly negative. I can understand. If you ask me whether I can accept her yet again. My answer will be a straight no. But the thing is these illogical emotions are not leaving my head. I just feel that how ignored was I at that moment. I have no real value for anyone. I understand this. But I can't practise. I also lack self confidence. And I lack it so much. And its just yesterday when I learned about that she's been intimate with one of my very known friend as well. So thats more hurting. Thats coming to my mind every single moment since yesterday. I don't know is it ego or jealousy or some kind of complex or wat is it I can't understand. Then what is the way out of this. Then how do I stop thinking about my past and move on? This may sound bit stupid doctors, but this is what i've been going through and it's not comfortable. I can't concentrate on my future. I can't trust or love someone else. It's been 3 years now. please need your help.
