As soon as you notice exercise-related knee pain, ice the area and rest. Until your knee is pain-free, avoid activities that put stress on your patellar tendon. •strengthen your muscles. Strong thigh muscles are better able to handle the stresses that can cause patellar tendinitis. Eccentric exercises, which involve lowering your leg very slowly after extending your knee, are particularly helpful. •improve your technique. To be sure you're using your body correctly, consider taking lessons or getting professional instructions when starting a new sport or using exercise equipment. •therapy •a variety of physical therapy techniques can help reduce the symptoms associated with patellar tendinitis, including: •patellar tendon strap. A strap that applies pressure to your patellar tendon can help to distribute force away from the tendon and direct it through the strap instead. This may help relieve pain. •iontophoresis. Dear lybrate-user, at your age you should be eating 3 large meals viz breakfast, lunch and dinner. Vitamin b12 is best obtained from animal sources. So if you are vegetarian, must consume dairy products like ghee, curd. You must increase your time in sunlight exposure. Get vitamin d injection once in a month instead of taking capsules. Finish dinner by 8 pm as our digestive system is slightly weaker as night approaches. Avoid packed food such as noodles, pasta, rusk. Avoid nuts, seeds and dry fruits as they are antinutrients in nature due to their phytic acid content. Avoid ro water as it is deficient in essential minerals, thereby causing weakness and fatigue. Will need to evaluate by physical examination and diagnostic imaging like x rays/mri / blood tests. We may need to aspirate the joint if swelling is associated with pain. Firstly the cause of ulcer should be establishes. You should do a upper gi endoscopy if not done yet. Also get a healthy lifestyle, avoid spicy oily food, also avoid painkillers. Don't lay down in the bed with in 30 mins of eating food. Take tablets like pantoprazole 40 mg once daily 30 mins before breakfast. Eat more green vegetables and banana. If you feel constipated you can take syrup lactihep 15 ml once daily before bed time. Do endoscopy and report to the doctor. Hope it helps.
