Hello. With 8 hiv neg tests pl be assured its not due to hiv. Anyway hiv does not cause thrush in early stages of hiv inf, its a sign of fairly advanced untreated hiv inf. And there are other aids defining inf by this time and not just only thrush. Please consult your Dr. too who diagnosed it as thrush. See a reputed dermatologist to get the right diag. Biopsy and microscpic exam of scrapping of the lesion can be done. Lichen planus is also non infective common cause of thrush like oral lesions. Rest assured again, its not due to hiv.
