No. But you have not mentioned the reason for which you did lipid profile. Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9. Hello, Thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. With fasting glucose at 215 mg and HbA1c% 12.2 % you have totally uncontrolled diabetes. This in fact needs Insulin therapy for at least 3 to 4 months along with oral hypoglycemics. After bringing the glucose under control we can take of Insulin and continue of oral drugs. However, if you want to opt for alternate medical therapy then there is hardly any chance to control the condition. At this stage there is no reversal possible Even though you C-peptide value is good, insulin injections are needed to reduce glucotoxicity. So my advise is either take proper modern medical treatment or remain a severely diabetic person. Choice is yours. If you have any questions please do come back. You are too young to risk such an unreliable treatment. Choice is yours. Thanks.

Hello, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. Currently with 57 kgs weight your BMI is 21.57 kgs whch is with in the normal range but lower side. Usually 23kgs/Sq meter is considered as better BMI. You need to add about 4 to 5 kgs. One of the reasons for weight loss is excessive high blood glucose which you had some time back. That leads to loos of weight and general tiredness. Since now your diabetes seems to have come under control or may have reversed, so with proper food intake, particularly increased proteins and regular strength building exercise you can regain the lost weight. If you have any questions please do come back. Thanks.
