Namaskar mai janna chahti hu ki kya age hai beti ki? Kya aapne rickets ki dawa vit d di thi? Uske baad kya vit d levels hue hai. Jo pairo ka tirchapan hai woh theek hoga ki nhi baby ki age pe depend karta hai but haddii waale doctor ko dikha sakte hai tirchepan ka treatment ka opinion lene ke liye.

Rickets is disease caused by bony changes in patients due to deficiency of Vitamin D which further leads to altered calcium and phosphorus metabolism. So it can be monitored by bony changes, vitamin D levels, bony enzymes like serum alkaline phosphatase, parathyroid hormone levels, x-rays, bone densitometry. Rickets is most commonly caused by vitamin D deficiency but it may be also due to other non vitamin D deficiency causes. Vitamin D deficiency may be due to poor intake ,poor absorption or excessive losses or poor activation of vitamin d to its active form by liver and kidney. The treatment will depend on cause.
