Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Madam, when one is on adequate dosage of levothyroxine then tsh is maintained around 3 to 4 mu/l, t3 & t4 are in normal range. That is considered as controlled hypothyroidism. Another aspect is please do not keep changing the dosage rapidly. It take about 6 weeks to see appropriate change in tsh levels. Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. As I understand you have hypothyroidism since 10 years and you are on 125 mcg. However, there is no mention of current t3, t4 & tsh levels. Because if hypothyroidism is under good control then all the symptoms related to that condition are in control. So if you are getting back ache and pain in legs, then there is a need to look at those values. If hypothyroidism is well controlled then one has to investigate and find out the reasons for such pain. Another important aspect is your height & weight. With a bmi (body mass index) of 29.29 kg/sq meter (normal < 23 kg/sq meter), you are already very close to become grade 1 obese person. Your ideal body weight should be about 59 kg. Which means there is an excess of over 16 kgs. In uncontrolled hypothyroidism weight does go up. As regards gastritis, repeated use of painkillers does lead to that condition. Etoricoxib is supposed to cause very little effect on stomach mucosa and supposed to be safe. There also a need to look at your vitamin d3 & calcium levels, plus time spent on exercises daily. For your information tsh level should be as follows during gestation period 1) 1st trimester: 0.1 o 2.5 mu/l 2) 2nd trimester 0.2 to 3.0 mu/l 3) 3rd trimester 0.3 to 3.0 mu/l. So it is essential to maintain tsh aroind 2 mu/l through out the 9 months period for better growth of the fetus and for desired outcome of the pregnancy, plus through the 9 month period it is essential to check thyroid profile every 4 weeks. I hope things are clear. Plus the dosage of levothyroxine usually needs to be increased during this period. So please get tsh tested and come back. Or consult a specialist in your place. Thanks.

Madam, thanks for the query. I am not able to read the details written in tamil. Probably you are asking whether there are any side effects of thyronorm tablets. Madam usually these tablets are very well tolerated by most of the patients. There may be minor issues initially but nothing problematic. Plus for the patient with hypothyroidism the only tratment ant that too for life is taking adequate dosage of these tablets.
