Hi lybrate-user! stop using skinlite cream! it's a strong steroid, it has got lots of severe side effects like white spots, dark spots, thinning of skin, irritation and burning of skin, it would spoil your face. Initially it gives good results but eventually you end up in to lots of complications. All the best.

Hello, steroid based cream are not safe. Better to switch over to milder depigmentation creams containing kojic acid, niacinamide tranexemic acid etc. Also use regular sunscreen.

Hello, Steroids should not be used for more than 2 months at a stretch. As long as you continue using Sunscreen it will remain at your natural skin color. For people who wish to have fairer skin than what is natural then a maintainance is required. Chemical peels can be used for maintainance. But till the most important aspect of skin care is Sunscreen. There are other options like glutathione, vit c laser toning etc for getting fairer skin.

It’s better to avoid skinlite cream because it will lead to rashes in direct sunlight and it can lead to skin cancer in near future

Some doctors are of the view that you should use skinlite cream at night and apply a good sunscreen in the morning for better results – you can follow this routine for about three weeks. You should, however, switch to a milder melanin reducing cream after you notice some improvement in your color and skin tone – Clearz Plus and Kojivit are a couple of good options here. The prolonged use of these creams won't produce negative effects because they usually contain vitamin C and kojic acid.

Skinlite cream is a strong and effective pigmentation reducer cream. Since it contains hydroquinone, steroid and tretinoin, it is important that you don't use it without a dermatologist's prescription. The cream works by restricting melanin production, limiting melanin transfer, and speeding skin cell turnover. The cream works quite well when used for a short time, but you may end up getting thin dry skin with acne, irritation, and visible thread veins if you keep using it for extended time. It sometimes also leads to rebound pigmentation. Therefore, you should avoid using it without an indication.

Skinlite Cream contains Hydroquinone Topical, Mometasone Topical, and Tretinoin Topical as active ingredients..It has lot of side effects when used on normal skin. Long term use of steroids can cause infections, acneiform eruption, atrophy, etc. Long term use of hydroquinone can cause exogenous ochronosis. Kindly avoid such creams for skin lightening. It must only be used for hyperpigmentation when indicated. Instead you may use a sunscreen with SPF 30 in morning and Rejuglow skin cream at night for a glowing skin.

Hello, skinlite cream is a strong pigmentation reducer cream and shouldn't be used without a dermatologist's prescription. It contains steroid, hydroquinone and tretinoin. Though initial effects with the cream are good but prolonged use may lead to thin dry skin with visible thread veins, acne, red irritated skin. So now you should gradually reduce its use and start applying aloe vera cream. Take care.
