Hi, don' t be panic, though u encountered the sugar n bp issue now days it can very well managed but something u missed to share so share well my request to consult your ayurveda dr so sure her both status can be made workable for operative.

Depending on your father's age, and depending on if he is on insulin or oral medicines, the decision should be taken. On an average,if the PP sugar can be brought down to 140 to 160, it will be safe. This can be achieved in most people within one or two weeks. An additional parameter could be HbA1C levels, below 8 or best is around 7. Besides, the operating eye surgeon should decide on an appropriate lens implant (IOL), to match your father;s present eye condition.
