Your white-headed spots, as you call them, on the underside of your penis could be genital warts. The bumps could also be pearly penile papules which are common, harmless, and not sexually transmitted. Although their cause is not known, pearly penile papules seem to be more common in uncircumcised men. Suggestion: You can help treat pimples by applying benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to remove bacteria and excess skin and oils. But don't use acne medication intended for your face or other parts of your body on your penis.

Another condition that's normal and no cause for concern is pearly penile papules. These whitish bumps appear on the glans (head) of the penis or along the edge of the glans in many guys. Genital warts (HPV) also can show up as bumps on the penis.

hello Types of pimples or pimple-like bumps that may affect the penis: Pimples - Pus-filled white bumps that can that occur when bacteria that is commonly found on the body infect the area. Folliculitis - A condition caused when hair follicles become infected, resulting in inflamed pimples. Sebaceous cysts are yellowish pimple or bumps that are caused by blocked or clogged oil glands. They typically go away on their own without medical care. Hirsutoid papillomas (Pearly penile papules) - Flesh-colored papules that are spiny in shape. They often are found in a ring around the sulcus coronarius (the edge of the head of the penis just above the shaft). They are benign, harmless, and don’t disappear, but are not the result of an STD or contagious. Razor burn (Razor bumps) - Small, irritated red bumps that pop up due to bacteria or ingrown hairs on or near the genitals after shaving. Staph infections - While the staph bacteria (Staphylococcus) is carried by about 25 percent of people and lives on the body, a genital staph infection is a rare occurrence. Tiny nicks or cuts caused by razors allow the bacteria to enter the body, causing a pus-filled boil to form. Staph is a contagious infection, but is not an STD. Treatment with antibiotics is necessary as staph can spread and cause serious health problems (including death). There are many types of penis pimples and bumps, but they all have one thing in common: they should not be popped or squeezed. Popping a pimple on your penis can lead to infection or scarring. It is quite normal for some men to have bumps on the shaft of the penis and/or at the base of the penis head. However, it is important to keep in mind that various sexually transmitted diseases can cause changes to the appearance of your penis. That is why it is best to have them evaluated by a doctor to rule out any STD. A common type of STD that presents as small bumps and is sometimes mistaken for pimples is genital herpes. Herpes lesions can appear on the shaft of the penis as round blisters with clear fluid that sit on top of a red base. When the blisters break, they usually cause quite painful sores or have a burning sensation. Another common cause of pimple-like bumps on the penis is genital warts (HPV). They are transmitted sexually and usually painless but can be painful depending on the size and anatomic location. You can only be diagnosed after your doctor examines your bumps closely and gets a detailed history. After a physical examination, these STDs are typically confirmed with a swap test. If a STD has been ruled out, you probably don't need toworry about your pimple-like bumps. The most common tiny bumps circling the neck or middle area of the penis that can either be white, pink, or sometimes red are known as pearly penile papules. They may also be another harmless condition known as Fordyce's spots. These Fordyce's spots usually appear as numerous small pale or white bumps under the skin. Or, they may be just pimples, which do occur from time to time on the penis. Again, I advise speaking with a doctor. Only your doctor can distinguish the different types of penis bumps. Only then you can be diagnosed and treated.

Men who are uncircumcised (who have the foreskin remaining around the penis) are prone to balanitis, an inflammation of the foreskin that is often caused by poor hygiene, irritation, or infections. Pimples occurs when penile pores clog with oil, sweat, and debris — just like pimples on your face. They have a a whitish appearance due to trapped oil. Usually you don’t need medical treatment for this, as pimples will subside on their ownTo help the healing process at home, you can use a warm compress to dilate the pores. Be sure to keep the area clean and dry. Don’t try to pop the pimples — this can lead to infection and scarring. You can try aloevera or witch hazel creams but only after consulting a Doctor as the area is very sensitive. Pearly penile papules, also known as hirsutoid papillomas, are small, skin-colored bumps that form around the head of the penis It will be a raised, pimple-like growth on the skin that does not produce pus. They usuallyappear at teenages and are more common in uncircumcised men. They tend to disappear with age. First of all try to identify what it is by consulting a Doctor. Dear Deepak. I can understand. Pearly penile papules are small dome-shaped to filiform skin-colored papules that typically are located on the sulcus or corona of the glans penis. Commonly, pearly penile papules are arranged circumferentially in one or several rows and often are assumed wrongly to be transmitted sexually. Take care
