The treatment options for cerebral palsy are more of mechanical rather pharmacological. It will be best guided by direct patient examination and physiotherapy. For sacroilitis a lot of medicines are available. Pain killers are only a part of the treatment regime and should not be continued regularly for long. Other options can be opted after ruling out other associated spinal diseases by mri and blood investigation. It is better to consult a spine specialist for the detailed examination and treatment.

Go for regular health check up with the doctor so that he can be physically checked and also overall review can be done. With the usage of regular medicines as prescribed by the doctor, and persistent efforts to be active - like doing physiotherapy and yoga, maximum benefit can be achieved. You can also add homeopathy which is safe and gentle (it helps natural recovery) without any side-effects. You can contact me for a detailed consultation so that appropriate homeopathic treatment can be given.

Hi my father is having paralysis from 2 years complete left hand and left leg and he had surgery of brain also had removed blood clot. And he was covering slowly. Before 2 days he felt down and left leg got fractured. He is having pain too. Is surgery is necessary for him for his fracture or with physiotherapy. Please help me with this. His age is 59.

Most fractures in this elderly age are significant enough to require surgery. Surgery alone will help him get out of bed early, which is important to prevent complications arising from prolonged bed rest that is required for conservative management. Plus it avoids shortening and malrotation of the leg.
