There are many treatment options for vitiligo depending upon type, location,extent of disease. For example white patch over hair bearing regions like abdomen or thigh respond well with oral medications. If there is greying of hairs over white skin patch than response to medications is poor in comparison to black hair containing white patch. White patch over finger tips and lips response poor to topical or oral medications or does not response at all. I recommend minimally invasive vitiligo surgery for ginger tip and lip or ear lobe vitiligo if the disease is stable.
