U can do the following to ease the symptoms of psoriasis 1. Prevent dry skin Use a humidifier to keep the air in your home or office moist. This can help prevent dry skin before it starts. Sensitive skin moisturizers are also great at keeping your skin supple and preventing plaques from forming. 2. Avoid fragrances Most soaps and perfumes have dyes and other chemicals in them that may irritate your skin. They can make you smell great, but they also can inflame psoriasis. 3. Eat healthfully Diet may play a role in managing psoriasis. Eliminating red meat and fatty snacks may help reduce flare-ups triggered by such foods. Cold water fish, seeds, nuts, and omega-3 fatty acids are known for their ability to reduce inflammation. 4. Soak your body Hot water may be an irritant for your skin. However, a lukewarm bath can soothe the itching and infiltrate scales and plaques. Moisturize immediately after your bath for double benefits. 5. Reduce stress Any chronic condition like psoriasis can be a source of stress. This can often turn into a vicious cycle because stress itself can worsen psoriasis symptoms. In addition to reducing stress whenever possible, consider incorporating stress-reducing practices such as yoga and meditation. 6. Avoid alcohol Alcohol is a trigger for many people who have psoriasis. 7. Stop smoking Avoid tobacco it can make your symptoms more severe. For this homeopathic treatment is very effective For more details u can consult me.

I have dandruff from past 8 years and I used many shampoos. I had consulted a doctor recently and she said it is scalp psoriasis but I think it is seborrheic dermatitis. Can you tell me whether it is cured? Suggest some medicine and shampoos.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Irritated and oily skin, a condition also known as seborrheic dermatitis (a more severe form of dandruff) not shampooing enough, which causes skin cells to accumulate and create flakes and itching. Yeast called malassezia, which aggravate your scalp and cause excess skin cell growth. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

I am 17 y/o and I developed genital psoriasis in the butt area where I had ringworms when I was 13 and after they got treated it was good for only 2 years after which I developed psoriasis. When it was the beginning of the disease I couldn't differentiate it from ringworm. So I began treating it as ringworm and began taking ringworm medications after noticing no improvement after years. I understood that its a different disease and later on I identified it as psoriasis. Currently I have been able to control the flare ups by applying moisturizer after bathing and applying coconut oil in the night but after half a year. I have a medical test for a military exam and I need it to be healed. I know that it may seem silly because there has been no permanent treatment found till date but I need guidance of medicine and diet that I should follow to treat it even if the slightest chances exist. Thank you for listening to me.
