Fungi are very small parasites that develop in areas such as dirt and on food. Likewise, they can also grow on the skin, mouth, hair and even on the nails of almost all living beings. Usually, these microbes are harmless, yet occasionally they can bring about problems called fungal infection. In babies, the skin fungi live on the top layer of skin cells or soggy zones of the body, for example, between the toes or in the diaper area. If symptoms are persisting then you should seek a right medical consultation.

Dear Lybrate user, siloderm mixi cream is a combination of three medicines: beclometasone, neomycin, and clotrimazole which treat skin infections. Beclometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic which stops the growth of bacteria while clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi on the skin. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively. We usually treat this kind of issue by administering an advanced homeopathic treatment. But first, we assess the skin type and condition of the patients. It helps us to determine the exact treatment duration and medication dosage very easily.

I've been diagnosed with anal fissure with a skin tag, I didn't want to go for surgery because my baby is 3 mo so started with homoeo treatment, was suggested sulphur, arsenic alb, nux voice, mag phos, bc25 to be taken 4 times for 21 days and was applying creme gel avoiding all spicy, oily junk food, having high fibre diet, stool softener and water (all this provided me great relief) but since two days i'm again having extreme pain while defecating as I forgot to apply gel so went for ayurvedic advice where doctor asked me to go for anal dilation for 10 days and since yesterday after first sitting i'm having extreme pain after each defecation. I was given xylocaine gel to apply before and after defecating which gives me relief only for sometime and voveran has been suggested sos. I want to know how effective is anal dilation treatment and how often and for how long xylocaine can be applied as i've read that it makes your skin thinner making it more prone to defecation trauma. Thanks.

There is no problem with applying xylocaine gel. While doing dilation; extra caution is required so that sphincter muscles are not too much stretched. Anal fissure can be conveniently treated by graded kshar karma treatment. In this treatment; graded kshar - a specialized ayurvedic medicine is applied in the fissure region. This medicine debrides the fissure and induces. Usually, 3-5 graded kshar karma sittings are required for complete healing of anal fissure at weekly intervals. This is an opd treatment. No hospitalization or bed rest is required. You can continue your normal routine activities as usual during this treatment. For further support, you may call reception at sushruta ano rectal institute.

The treatments available to cure hair loss are many like 1. Hair transplant hair transplant is a minimally invasive surgical technique that transfers hair follicles taken from other parts of your body to the balding area. Known by the name of follicular unit transplantation, this hair loss treatment can help to bring back the natural appearance of a fuller head of hair. Hair follicles are harvested using two procedures- follicular unit extraction and strip harvesting. The procedure can vary from 4-8 hours or more depending on the case. 2.platelet-rich plasma (prp) platelet- rich plasma (prp) is another treatment alternative that can reverse hair loss. It’s a simple non-surgical procedure that lasts about 60-90 minutes. In this form of hair treatment, the patient’s own blood cells, more specifically blood platelets are injected into the scalp. Usually, 8 sittings are required with each sitting being 2 weeks apart for better results. 3.lowlevellaser (revealed its effectiveness in encouraging hair growth in both the genders. Light) therapy (lllt) this form of hair therapy utilises light energy of a specific wavelength and threshold to stimulate cellular activity, thereby promoting hair growth. Do not use shampoo and apply coconut oil and only dry excess oil if any without soap or shampoo hair fall is a very common phenomenon that plagues millions of people around the globe. No, there is no correlation. Its a myth. You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh), not from ready made gels available in market. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your skin. Wash with plain water after an hour. Stop using soap on face. Instead take a spoon of milk, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Mix n apply on face with the help of cotton. Leave for a few minutes then wash off. Apply moisturizer like coconut oil. Use some sunblock with spf (at least 50) every time you go out in sun. Apply it 30 mins before going out use umbrella when going in sun. Wear full sleeves clothsdrink plenty of fluids.Don’t be stressed. For more details consult online.
